Resazurin, resorufin, and chloride concentrations for input to resazurin processing rate calculations
Included in final_data.csv are data collected during field stream tracer experiments using the resazurin tracer system. The goal of the tracer experiments was to assess differences in hyporheic exchange and aerobic respiration between unrestored control reaches and realigned treatment reaches. This was done on Chester Creek, Keene Creek, Miller Creek, Mission Creek, and Sargent Creek in Duluth, Minnesota in the summer of 2022. This data file contains the pertinent raw and calculated data to generate breakthrough curves used to assess hyporheic exchange and aerobic respiration using the methods in Knapp et al. (2018). Data in nrri_chloride_conc.csv contains the ion chromatograph output information of chloride concentration with batch information, date of analysis, dilution factors, and sample notes.Information about funding sources that supported the collection of the data: Funding for the collection of these data was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).Evraets, Bradly; Gran, Karen. Community Playgroups as a Platform for Civic Engagement

Degree: Master of Professional Studies in Civic Engagement. 1 digital file (pdf).This study explores community playgroups' multifaceted role in creating stronger, healthier, and more resilient families and communities through research data and a case study of Tod Pod in Bloomington, Minnesota. In addition to the research, the project includes the creation of a toolkit for parents interested in forming a playgroup. Results show that community playgroups can support young children's developmental needs by providing a safe space to engage in play and opportunities for social activities. Playgroups can mitigate mental health issues in parents and caregivers by cultivating social connections and offering emotional support. Playgroups can also be credited with creating more civically engaged families by connecting them with their local communities. By improving developmental growth in children and parental well-being, community playgroups can be credited with long-term economic benefits for society by reducing government spending.Kane, Kali. From the post: In June 2023 the National Transportation Library’s (NTL) Data Services Team incorporated the Data Curation Network’s CURATE(D) workflow into their data cataloging process. ... Our team was initially introduced to the Data Curation Network’s CURATE(D) Steps during their training events in early 2023. Seeing the potential for the CURATE(D) Steps to help NTL, we began the process of structuring the new workflow and documentation. Due to a backlog and minimal staff, the previous process was rather simple in nature, and the CURATE(D) Steps was a perfect tool to build upon our foundational workflow, close noticeable gaps, and ensure documentation throughout the whole process.
