Towards comeniology as a science: the scientific and didactical workshop; research methodology
No full textThe article depicts John Amos Comenius’ selected ideas and their reference to the contemporary times. It is mainly based on his two major works: Great Didactics and Pampaedia, my own research papers and other available ones, as well as on some research conducted by education science students for their MA theses concerning John Amos Comenius’ teacher in reference to the modern teacher2. It focuses on Comenius’ idea of permanent education, which refers to contemporary education3. Nowadays permanent education is a key educational chal-lenge in Poland, Europe and all over the world. The article is an attempt to define comeniology as an emerging scientific discipline and specify the areas and ranges of comeniological research, mentioning its authors and describing their output published in “Siedlce Comeniological Research Bulletin. pedagogy series”. I prove the evolutional character of comeniological re-search. The article also mentions my education science students’ interest in Comenius and their activity including the research conducted for their MA theses about Comenius, presentations and written texts intended to be published in “Siedlce Comeniological Research Bulletin, pedagogy series”.W artykule przywołuję wybrane idee Jana Amosa Komeńskiego i ich odniesienie do współczesności. Bazuję tutaj głównie na dwóch dziełach uczonego: Wielkiej dydaktyce i Pampaedii, opracowaniach własnych, dostępnych opracowaniach dotyczących twórczości Komeńskiego i badaniach studentek pedagogiki, wykonanych do prac magisterskich, traktujących o nauczycielu Jana Amosa Komeńskiego w odniesieniu do nauczyciela współczesnego. Przywołuję ideę edukacji nieustającej Jana Amosa Komeńskiego, która odnosi się do współczesnej edukacji. Jest ona dzisiaj priorytetowym wyzwaniem edukacyjnym w Polsce, Europie i na świecie. Podejmuję próby definiowania komeniologii jako rodzącej się dyscypliny naukowej i wyszczególniam obszary i zakresy badań komeniologicznych, przywołując ich Autorów i charakteryzując ich twórczość w „Siedleckich Zeszytach Komeniologicznych, seria pedagogika”. Wykazuję ewolucyjny charakter badań komeniologicznych. Nawiązuję również do zainteresowania Komeńskim moich studentów pedagogiki i ich aktywności, przejawiającej się w badaniach do prac magisterskich o J.A. Komeńskim, prezentacjach i tekstach pisanych do „Siedleckich Zeszytów Komeniologicznych, seria pedagogika”
The Ukrainian context of Comenius studies: philosophical, pedagogical, psychological aspects
No full textThe article describes philosophical, pedagogical and psychological aspects of Comenius’s scientific ideas based on the analysis of scientific findings of Ukrainian authors in different historical times. It is found that the works of the prominent educator began to be analyzed in detail by Ukrainian scholars in the second half of the 19th century. The article also thematically chronologizes studies on the work of John Amos Comenius: pedagogical ideas; biographical data; the role of ideas in the context of developing sciences of different fields, such as philosophy, history, pedagogy. The article shows that the philosophical aspect of Ukrainian Comeniology is characterized by the focus of scholars of the 19th century on Comenius’s theological ideas and, through their prism, on the functioning of the Ukrainian education system; the exemplarity of his figure in overcoming obstacles to Ukraine’s independence; the analysis of his ideas from the beginning of Ukraine’s independence through a nationally updated context of socio-cultural relations; the quintessence of the philosophical concept of “eternal peace”. The philosophical aspect of Ukrainian Comeniology is substantially connected with the pedagogical aspect: the everyday relevance of Comenius’s pedagogical ideas in all the analyzed historical periods of Comenius studies (from the middle of the 19th century up to the present day); the eloquence of the educator’s ideas, in particular the deterministic historical and social conditions of the teacher’s professionalization and the image of the modern pupil; the permanent relevance of Comenius’s pedagogical principles (democracy, cultural conformity through national identity); ideas for schools teaching in national languages, etc. The psychological aspect of Ukrainian Сomeniology has not yet been revealed. Considerable attention has been paid to the psychological ideas of John Amos Comenius through the compilation of the quotations corresponding to the psychological concept of today

No full textCelem przeprowadzonych badań było ujawnienie stosunku tolerancyjności ankietowanych, w głównej mierze do osób z autyzmem, w tym z zespołem Aspergera oraz zdiagnozowanie poziomu wiedzy młodzieży i nauczycieli/wychowawców o autyzmie. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w 2018 r. w miesiącach: wrzesień-październik podczas warsztatów Poznaj nasz AUTentYZM w ramach projektu: Zapraszam Cię do mego świata, realizowanego przez Fundację Żółty Latawiec. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w następujących placówkach: 1. Uniwersytet Przyrodniczo-Humanistyczny w Siedlcach. 2. Młodzieżowy Ośrodek Wychowawczy w Czuchowie Pieńkach. 3. Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 4 im. Kazimierza Wielkiego w Siedlcach. W badaniach posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego, stosując technikę ankiety. W oparciu o tematykę i cel badań, postawiono następujące problemy badawcze:
1. Jak badani oceniają swój poziom wiedzy na temat zaburzeń ze spektrum autyzmu?
2. W jakich okolicznościach respondenci mają najczęściej kontakt z osobami ze spektrum autyzmu?
3. Jaki stosunek mają opiniodawcy do osób z ASD w ich otoczeniu?
4. W jakim stopniu osoby niepełnosprawne uczestniczą w życiu publicznym?
5. W czym przejawia się tolerancja lub jej brak wobec osób dotkniętych autyzmem?
W tekście przybliżono także różnice między autyzmem a zespołem Aspergera oraz opisano formy i metody pracy z dzieckiem ze spektrum autyzmu

No full textCzy komeniologia jest nauką? Pytanie to staje się przewodnią myślą moich rozważań. Analizę koncepcji Jana A. Komeńskiego poprowadzę według wybranych kryteriów naukowości: porządku logicznego, poziomu teoretyczności, mocy wyjaśniającej, mocy heurystycznej, stopnia przekonania i stopnia uzasadnienia, mocy przewidywania, języka i metod. Przyjmuję obraz człowieka jako triady obejmującej ducha (część nieśmiertelna powiązana ze światem duchowym), duszę (część rozumna licząca się z wolną wolą daną od Stwórcy) i ciało (część zwierzęca oraz część duszy zdolna do przyjmowania bodźców zmysłowych). W swoim artykule poszukuję właściwej interpretacji koncepcji człowieka wolnego u Komeńskiego, który bazował na obserwacji i doświadczeniu.Is comeniology a science? This question becomes the guiding thought of my contemplations. I conduct the analysis of John A. Comenius's concept according to the selected scientific criteria: logical order, levels of theory, explanatory power, heuristic power, degree of persuasion and degree of justification, power of prediction, language and methods. I accept the image of a man as a triad involving spirit (immortal part connected with the spiritual world), soul (rational part considering the free will given by the Creator) and body (animal part and the part of the soul capable of perceiving sensory stimuli). In my article I am searching for a proper interpretation of Comenius' concept of a free man that was based on observation and experience

This is a consequence of our awareness of the fact that employees and personnel processes play a vital role in translating the policy of sustainable development into practice. The objective of this research has been to diagnose the activity of young Polish enterprises
in the area of SRHRM as an important corporate social responsibility (CSR) component and to assess relations between SRHRM practices and the sustainable development of organizations. The studies conducted on a representative sample of 150 entities demonstrate both the scope of SRHRM practical implementation and the fields which have disparity in this respect. It has been determined that SRHRM practices are quite frequently adopted by young Polish enterprises. Research has shown
that there is a correlation between the assessment of the relationship of SRHRM practices with the sustainable development of organizations and their practical implementation. It has been established that the higher the assessment of the strength of the relations of a given practice, the more often it is implemented in the enterprises studied. Simultaneously, the research has demonstrated a low level of maturity with respect to SRHRM implementation, as evidenced by the adoption of basic practices

It is necessary because it is a plant classified as a high risk of a serious industrial failure and the production technology is mainly based on the use of dangerous substances. Therefore, it is worth considering the question of the extent the services and the crisis management system of the city of Starogard Gdański are prepared in serious accident in Polpharma S. A.Poważna awaria przemysłowa niesie ze sobą duże straty w środowisku naturalnym oraz życiu ludzi i zwierząt. Miasto Starogard Gdański, w którym zlokalizowany jest Zakład Farmaceutyczny Polpharma S.A. musi kłaść duży nacisk na dobrze wyszkolone służby miasta oraz system zarządzania kryzysowego. Konieczne jest to, gdyż jest zakładem zakwalifikowanym do kategorii dużego ryzyka wystąpienia poważnej awarii przemysłowej, a technologia produkcji oparta jest głównie na stosowaniu substancji niebezpiecznych. Get PDFThe article outlines the international system for the protection of cultural property set up by UNESCO, under which cultural property located in a war zone is subject to protection and due care by the belligerent parties. Moreover, three levels of protection of cultural property in armed conflicts are presented, two of which – special protection and enhanced protection – are not widely used by the signatories of the 1954 Hague Convention, as evidenced by a limited number of cultural objects that have been chosen to be covered under those protection levels. One of the reasons for the low effectiveness of legislation pertaining to the protection of cultural property has been the inclusion of the concept of military necessity to the text of the Hague Convention, which is often invoked by warring factions as the justification for the violations of their duty of protecting cultural heritage.W artykule zaprezentowano ustanowiony pod auspicjami UNESCO międzynarodowy system ochrony dóbr kultury, w ramach którego objęto opieką i poszanowaniem dobra kultury znajdujące się w obszarze prowadzonych działań zbrojnych. Ponadto odniesiono się do trzech mechanizmów ochrony dóbr kultury w konfliktach zbrojnych, z których dwa (tj. ochrona specjalna i wzmocniona) nie cieszą zbyt dużym zainteresowaniem państw-stron konwencji, o czym świadczyć może niewielka liczba dóbr kultury nimi objęta. Get PDFArtykuł przedstawia problematykę rozwoju lokalnego na przykładzie powiatów województwa opolskiego. Celem analizy jest próba oceny poziomu zróżnicowania rozwoju ekonomicznego powiatów ziemskich wchodzących w skład województwa opolskiego w latach 2010-2015. Ocena poziomu rozwoju tych powiatów przeprowadzona została z wykorzystaniem taksonomicznego miernika rozwoju Hellwiga. Badanie potwierdziło postawioną hipotezę zakładającą występowanie zróżnicowania rozwoju ekonomicznego badanych powiatów. Wykazało również utrzymywanie się relatywnie stałego poziomu zróżnicowania rozwoju badanych powiatów we wszystkich analizowanych latach.The publication presents the problems of local development on the example of counties in opolskie voivodeship. The aim of the article is an attempt to assess the level of diversification of economic development in the counties belonging to the opolskie voivodeship in 2010-2015. The evaluation of the level of counties development was carried out using Hellwig taxonomic development measure. The study confirmed the research hypothesis assuming the existence of diversification of economic development of the studied counties. The study showed the existence of a relatively constant diversification of the development of the counties in all of the analyzed years
