This document provided an in-depth analysis of the activities developed throughout the teaching internship period, focusing on the four distinct areas of intervention: teaching, class tutoring, school sports, and the seminar. Through this process, a staged planning model was established, covering all the considered areas and outlining the pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical decisions made. In teaching, the development of class 11ºCT5 & AV was observed, encompassing various curricular areas, including priority learnings and their relationship with the subject of physical education. This progress resulted from the prior use of the student diagnostic questionnaire, a tool that allowed for early identification of problems, culminating in the development of the specific teaching project: "The Impact of Warm-up as a Pedagogical Practice". This project reinforced the importance of the subject, promoting student responsibility as active agents in the lessons and their planning. The "Full-Time Teacher" week represented an opportunity for the development of pedagogical skills, allowing for the improvement of the feedback cycle, the experience of teaching other cycles, and the optimisation of space management and transition times between activities, contributing to a more efficient teaching practice. In the role of class tutor, it was possible to establish a closer relationship with the students, adapting the pedagogical approach to their needs and interests. Coordination with the teaching staff proved essential in promoting the success of the class, allowing for the identification of strategies to solve the problems identified in the students. The project "Team Building Dynamics in an Interdisciplinary Context", which linked the subjects of philosophy and Portuguese with team-building activities, enriched the learning experience. In the area of School Sports, participation in the tennis group made it possible to observe the technical development of the students. The project "Tennis in Pairs: Integrated Cooperation and Competition" promoted a balanced approach between competitiveness and cooperation, adapting to the school context and respecting the development of young people. During the Seminar, the integration of the topic "How can we integrate cycling into the PE curriculum, promoting physical fitness and raising awareness of road safety?" was explored. This involved an analysis of the interests of the physical education teaching group, culminating in the presentation of didactic proposals. This report reflected the dynamics of the teaching internship, highlighting the strategies adopted, the milestones achieved, and the lessons learned, providing a comprehensive view of this formative stage
History of mental health problems moderates the association between partner support during childbirth and women's mental health in the postpartum period
Publisher Copyright: © 2025 The Author(s)Background: Partner support during childbirth is an important protective factor for women's perinatal mental health. However, its protective role in women experiencing vulnerabilities is largely unknown, namely in those with history of mental health problems. Aim: This study analysed (1) the association between partner support during childbirth and depressive, anxiety, and childbirth-related post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms in the postpartum period; and (2) the moderating role of previous diagnosis of mental health problems in those associations. Design: Cross-sectional study with 284 women. Methods: At 2 months postpartum, participants reported on sociodemographic, obstetric, and mental health-related data, partner support during childbirth, and depressive (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale), anxiety (State Anxiety Inventory), and childbirth-related post-traumatic stress disorder (City Birth Trauma Scale) symptoms. Findings: More partner support during childbirth was associated with lower depressive, anxiety, and childbirth-related post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms. Previous diagnosis of mental health problems was associated with higher depressive, anxiety, and childbirth-related post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and moderated the association between partner support during childbirth and depressive and anxiety symptoms. Higher partner support during childbirth was associated with lower depressive and anxiety symptoms, only in women without a previous diagnosis of mental health problems. Discussion: Findings suggest that partner support during childbirth can be a protective factor for women's postpartum mental health, particularly for women without a previous diagnosis of mental health problems. However, for those with a previous diagnosis of mental health problems, this support was not associated with symptoms. Conclusion: Women with a history of mental health problems may require additional support beyond that provided by their partners to prevent or mitigate postpartum mental health problems. This work was funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology—FCT (Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education), under the grant HEI-LAB (UIDB/05380/2020; https://doi. org/10.54499/UIDB/05380/2020) and project 2022.01825.PTDC (http://doi.org/10.54499/2022.01825.PTDC).
Considering the escalating environmental concerns, organizations nowadays play a crucial role in mitigating the environmental effect of their operations. By encouraging sustainable practices in businesses, Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) becomes a key strategic component in this environment. Therefore, it is vital to investigate how they may all work together to promote sustainable innovation, maximize resource use, reduce waste, and ultimately enhance the circular economy's performance. Considering the mediating function of sustainable innovation, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the ways in which Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) advances organizational sustainability and enhances the performance of the circular economy. to evaluate how Green HRM practices affect businesses' performance within the framework of the circular economy while examining the function of sustainable innovation as a mediator. To do this, a conceptual model was created that investigates the connections among the adoption of green practices, the encouragement of sustainable innovation, and the enhancement of organizational resource utilization efficiency. The study uses a quantitative methodology, collecting data from several companies via questionnaires. There are 45 participants in the sample, including companies like Carristur, BLconsulting, Casino Solverde among others, cross-sectional research, a form of observational study that emphasizes outcomes during a certain time period of a target audience, was used as the approach (Savatz & Wellenius, 2023). The findings indicate that GHRM practices significantly impact firms within the framework of the circular economy, wherein sustainable innovation plays a crucial part in maintaining this performance. Therefore, firms that embrace sustainable practices tend to enhance their efficiency, encouraging a more sustainable corporate culture and raising employees' environmental consciousness. Furthermore, this sustainable attitude encourages emotional engagement from staff members, enhancing their sense of alignment with the company's principles. By emphasizing the significance of HRM as a catalyst for sustainable change and providing useful advice for businesses looking to deepen their environmental commitment, the study adds to the body of scholarly literature
Beyond Equality – Nonmonogamy and the Necropolitics of Marriage
Publisher Copyright: © 2025 by the authors.‘Marriage equality’ has been a widely used slogan and mobilizing concept for LGBTQ+ rights’ movements across the globe striving for formal recognition for ‘same-sex’ or ‘same-gender’ marriages. In this article, we critically interrogate the terminology and political rationality that have given shape to ‘marriage equality’ campaigns. We demonstrate the structural erasure of non-monogamous relations and populations from the changes hoped for and envisioned in these mobilizations. The lack of any genuine and substantial concern with Consensual Non-monogamies (CNMs) from most of the literature in the field highlights the close entanglement of marriage with monogamy. As a result, ideas are scarce about how meaningful and adequate legal recognition and social policy provisions for a wide range of intimate, sexual, familial, and/or caring bonds or constellations on the CNM continuum could look like. We argue that the critique of the mononormativity inherent to marriage is fundamental to understanding the role of this in the 21st century. We identify the roots of the mononormativity of marriage in its governmental role as a necropolitical and biopolitical technology, evidenced by its ‘civilizing’ function in white settler colonial projects. Because of this, an expansion of the call for equality to include non-monogamous populations does not resolve but rather aggravates the problem. We conclude that any truly queer politics of CNM consequently needs to be anti-marriage.This work was supported by the European Commission through a grant within the MSCA-IF-EF-ST Funding Scheme (grant number 845889)

Explorando o Potencial dos Polissacarídeos de Ankistrodesmus brauniiAtividade Antioxidante In Vitro e Biocompatibilidade Cutânea In Vivo
Publisher Copyright: © 2025 ALIES. All rights reserved. Current demands for sustainable cosmetic sources containing naturally derived compounds have led to extensive research for promising microalgae strains for large-scale cultivation. Given the enormous variety of microalgae strains, as well as their diverse cosmetic potential, here, we cultivated Ankistrodesmus braunii in tubular photobioreactors to extract polysaccharides (PSs) aiming their incorporation into a dermocosmetic prototype gel. In vitro antioxidant activity was determined by the DPPH• (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay, and in vivo experiments were performed on participants, measuring skin superficial (SK) hydration and transepidermal water loss (TEWL) to determine cutaneous biocompatibility, i.e., the PS safety. A. braunii aqueous PS had superior performance through the DPPH• test, thus, it was incorporated in a gel sample, and its safety profile was established by the cutaneous biocompatibility assay. The biocompatibility of the samples was confirmed by the SK hydration and TEWL results, which were not affected after the application of the gels. Our results suggested not only the biocompatibility of the microalgae PS dermocosmetic, but also the in vitro antioxidant potential, confirming the viability of this material as a new ingredient in cosmetic formulations.Esta pesquisa foi financiada pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq, número de concessão 303862/2022-0); pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP, números de concessão 2015/11194-6, 2016/22000- 0, 2022/09905-5 e 2024/01920-0); e pela FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), I.P., através de fundos nacionais, sob os projetos DOI 10.54499/ UIDP/04567/2020, DOI 10.54499/UIDB/04567/2020 e DOI 10.54499/EXPL/BTM-MAT/0112/2021 atribuídos ao CBIOS.This research was funded by Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq, grant number 303862/2022-0); Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP, grant numbers 2015/11194-6, 2016/22000-0, 2022/09905- 5, and 2024/01920-0); and FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology), I.P. through national funds under DOI 10.54499/UIDP/04567/2020, DOI 10.54499/UIDB/04567/2020 and DOI 10.54499/EXPL/ BTM-MAT/0112/2021 projects attributed to CBIOS

Scientific evidence on past campaigns is essential for the effectiveness of future campaigns. This study aims to: (1) assess predictors of influenza and COVID-19 vaccination intentions (2) explore perceived barriers and facilitators of 2023-2024 seasonal vaccination campaign.METHODS: A cross-sectional study employing both quantitative and qualitative methods was conducted. The quantitative study involved a sample of 231 respondents from Portugal, including healthcare professionals and vaccination eligible population: individuals over 60 years of age, and individuals with chronic diseases. Quantitative data were collected via an online survey to assess vaccination literacy, attitudes, and future vaccination intention. The qualitative study consisted of four focus groups with a total of 17.PARTICIPANTS: Vaccinated/unvaccinated individuals and healthcare professionals. Thematic analysis was used to explore perceptions of eligible populations about this vaccination campaign.RESULTS: Quantitative analysis revealed that attitudes toward vaccination and factors related to personal/family health predicted future vaccination intentions for influenza and COVID-19. Thematic analysis identified key facilitators, such as positive perceptions of pharmacies as vaccination sites and an early start of the campaign specifically for vaccinated groups. Barriers were related to campaign communication, fear of side effects, vaccination fatigue, and the co-occurrence of high temperatures during the campaign start. Unvaccinated individuals expressed lower perceived susceptibility and severity.CONCLUSION: The study highlights the importance of clear communication, addressing vaccination fatigue, and considering environmental factors. Improving proximity between health professionals as trusted information sources and the population, alongside customized communication, may also enhance vaccination uptake among the eligible population. The potential influence of weather conditions on the acceptance of vaccination campaigns is a topic that deserves further consideration in the future, within the scope of climate changes
