    This dataset contains the validated master track of the S/Y Eugen Seibold during expedition ES22C12, with a time resolution of about 10 seconds. This master track can be used as reference for further expedition data. For creating the master track, the 1-second resolution raw data acquired by the GPS position sensor on board S/Y Eugen Seibold were processed, averaging latitude and longitude within equidistant 10-second intervals. Quality control was performed visually and by checking the maximum speed calculated between neighbouring positions. In case of unrealistically high speeds, data points have been removed

    This dataset represents frequency domain Electromagnetic induction (EMI) data created by using electromagnetic waves generated in a transmitter and recorded in three receiver coils to create maps of electromagnetic subsoil properties at different sensing depths. A CMD Mini-Explorer by GF Instruments was used. The device consists of one transmitter and three receiver coils. The planes of the coils were oriented horizontally (horizontal coplanar - HCP). The distance between the transmitter and receivers are 0.32 m, 0.71 m and 1.18 m. The measurements were performed with 10 Hz sampling frequency. The area was covered by randomly walked W-E-orientated and N-S orientated tracks with an average spacing of about 0.5 m between the tracks. An RTK-GPS (Stonex S9i) was connected to the device using a fixed fibreglass rod at a distance of 2 m to the coils, minimizing the influence of the electronics on the data. The data was collected July 21st 2020, to image a 17th century wooden ship wreckage in the North Sea tidal flat area west of the island of Hooge(Germany) (Coordinates, geographic WGS84, are provided in the data list)

    δ234U Values of the last 230 years in a Cuban coral ranging from 1777 to 2014

    The dataset presented here captures 114 uranium isotope ratio (234U/238U), expressed as δ234U, in a coral from northern Cuba, with data spanning the past 230 years. The primary objective was to analyze the variability in δ234U to evaluate freshwater fluxes and oceanographic changes in the northern Caribbean, particularly during the Little Ice Age (LIA). The highest fluctuations of ±8.1‰ are present at the end of the Little Ice Age, aligning with known climatic shifts. Elevated δ234U values reflect Mississippi River discharge, while lower values correspond to local precipitation along the Cuban coast. Annual variations of δ234U were measured using multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) at the Institut of Environmental Physics Heidelberg, achieving an external precision of ±0.55‰

    The grey values were measured from a 57-cm-long sediment core retrieved from Lake Alchichica (19° 24' 38 N, 97° 24' 14 W, 2322 masl) at a water depth of ~ 60 m using a Uwitec® coring device equipped with a 9-cm coring tube. The core structure was revealed by a Siemens Somatom Definition +128 CT-scanner at the INRS Centre Eau Terre Environnement with a 0.31 mm resolution in the stratigraphic direction. Grey levels are expressed in Hounsfield units (HU): light (dark) grey levels represent dense (light) sediments. The analysis was performed at the INRS Centre Eau Terre Environnement in Canada
