This paper presents a system that allows users to build networks of everyday objects using visual tags as proximity technology. Get PDFIl report ha l'obiettivo di diffondere i risultati delle attività di ricerca svolta nell’ambito del progetto 'Molecole bioattive da biomasse mediante metodi di Green Chemistry. Risultati della sperimentazione', al quale ha partecipato un cluster di imprese ed enti di ricerca della Sardegna. L’attività progettuale ha riguardato le seguenti matrici: lentisco (Pistacia lentiscus) (sia foglie che bacche), salvia (Salvia desoleana) ed elicriso (Helicrisum spp), vinacce di uve Cagnulari (anni 2007 e 2008), sanse esauste da industria olearia provenienti da cultivars diverse (anni 2007 e 2008). La matrice che ha dato le migliori risposte, sia dal punto di vista costitutivo che per l’attività biologica, sono gli estratti provenienti dalle foglie di Pistacia lentiscus per le quali si è convenuto fosse importante valutare la risposta biologica anche in vivo
CRS-based Seismic Imaging in Complex Marine Geology
Get PDFThis paper presents results of a consistent workflow for processing and imaging applied to marine seismic data. The data set was collected in the Southern Atlantic offshore Brazil. Searching for techniques to increase the data resolution, fundamental steps of signal processing together with imaging methods based on the data-driven CRS technology, such as CRS-stack based residual static correction and pre-stack data enhancement, were applied and proved to be successful. The final aim of the data processing and imaging sequence was to obtain sections ready to be submitted to geological interpretation. The latter was conducted on the final stacked and CRS time migrated sections. The obtained image panels allow for interpreting discontinuities, thinning, faults, anticlines, plays of horsts and grabens. Some selected parts of the line needed detail processing to make structures more evident that where partly hidden by the strong free surface multiples and diffractions

3d crs analysis: a new data-driven optimization strategy for the simultaneous estimate of the eight stacking parameters
Get PDFWe devised a data-driven strategy for the simultaneous estimate of the eight CRS traveltime attributes, solving a global non-linear minimization problem without the need of computing gradients. The essential elements in this Eni research and development activity are the following: a conjugate-direction method supported by well known convergence properties and an iterative line-search implementing the strong Wolfe-Powell rule for the control of the steplength. The resulting algorithm can reach very good solutions in presence of many local minima.3284-329
