97學年度〈版畫實驗〉課程國立清華大學圖書館紀念品─校長手稿藏書票比賽[[abstract]]據說澱粉、陽光以及香蕉是讓人放鬆並且感到幸福、快樂的三個重要元素,這些都是我認識的書本所能夠帶來的神奇功效。
食物中包含的與人體荷爾蒙相關的營養素,確實能達到紓解壓力的功效,就像我們在圖書館閱讀小說雜誌所能帶來的放鬆效果一樣。陽光則讓人感到溫暖,就像在圖書館裡面,有著全館同溫的統一空調,不只讓我在寒冬夜裡能夠雙手溫熱,更能夠感受到受到被暖氣包圍的炙熱的心靈。人每日攝取的營養素更像是館內的報章圖書一樣,供給著每日新知識與其他日積月累的資訊。
圖中的人躺在大樹底下休憩,夢到中午剛吃完的香蕉,產生的那一股幸福的感覺充斥、縈繞全身上下久久不散;旁邊的麥穗在陽光與威風的輕拂之下飄動著輕盈的身軀,傳達著春天的信息。融合在這一幅和諧畫面之中的,除了天邊的悠閒浮動的白雲外,還有一冊冊書本堆疊而成的圖書館。她散發出的光線並非逼視的,取而代之的是和煦慈祥的光輝,但卻又是那麼令人難以忘懷的美麗。
圖書館是一個好地方。每天都去圖書館的我,或查詢所需資料,或翻閱報章雜誌放鬆心情。更多的是,什麽也不做,獨享單純芬芳帶點輕盈的書香,品茗靜思人與人之間的心靈交流,體驗圖中主人翁的那一份無拘無束,快樂寫意的進入夢鄉。[[fileno]]208_SP01_2008_n4
Valley-based field-effect transistors in graphene
[[abstract]]An analog of the Datta-Das spin field-effect transistor (FET) is investigated, which is all graphene and based on the valley degree of freedom of electrons/holes. The "valley FET" envisioned consists of a quantum wire of gapped graphene (channel) sandwiched between two armchair graphene nanoribbons (source and drain), with the following correspondence to the spin FET: valley (K and K') spin (up and down), armchair graphene nanoribbons ferromagnetic leads, graphene quantum wire semiconductor quantum wire, valley-orbit interaction Rashba spin-orbit interaction. The device works as follows. The source (drain) injects (detects) carriers in a specific valley polarization. A side gate electric field is applied to the channel and modulates the valley polarization of carriers due to the valley-orbit interaction, thus controlling the amount of current collected at the drain. The valley FET is characterized by (i) smooth interfaces between leads and the channel, (ii) strong valley-orbit interaction for electrical control of drain current, and (iii) vanishing interband valley-flip scattering. By its analogy to the spin FET, the valley FET provides a potential framework to develop low-power FETs for graphene-based nanoelectronics.[[fileno]]2030120010047[[department]]電機工程學
DC-Bus Voltage Control with a Three-Phase Bi-directional Inverter for DC Distribution Systems
[[abstract]]This paper presents dc-bus voltage control with a three-phase bidirectional inverter for dc distribution systems. The bidirectional inverter can fulfill both grid connection and rectification modes with power factor correction. The proposed control includes two approaches, one line-cycle regulation approach (OLCRA) and one-sixth line-cycle regulation approach (OSLCRA), which take into account dc-bus capacitance and control dc-bus voltage to track a linear relationship between the dc-bus voltage and inverter inductor current. Since both of the approaches require the parameter of dc-bus capacitance, this paper first presents determination of dc-bus capacitor size and an online capacitance estimation method. With the OLCRA, the inverter tunes the dc-bus voltage every line cycle, which can reduce the frequency of operation-mode change and current distortion. The OSLCRA adjusts current command every one-sixth line cycle to adapt to abrupt dc-bus voltage variation. The two approaches together can prevent dc-bus voltage from wide variation and improve the availability of the dc distribution systems without increasing dc-bus capacitance.
