The developed technique of the decision of a problem on designing system of artificial uniform illumination for an industrial premise of traction substation in which the switching centre is located is resulted. The design procedure is developed proceeding from positions of maintenance of effective and economic use of electric energy.Описаний вплив штучного освітлення на організм людини. З позицій напруженості зорового аналізатора людини проаналізовані роботи на розподільному пристрої тягової підстанції, що виконуються обслуговуючим персоналом. Наведена розроблена методика вирішення завдання з проектування системи штучного рівномірного освітлення для виробничого приміщення тягової підстанції, в якому розташований розподільний пристрій. Методика розрахунку розроблена з позицій забезпечення ефективного й економічного використання електричної енергії
