    Bismuth iron perovskite and garnet ferrite films have been investigated from the point of view of monolithic magneto-optical spatial light modulator devices. Both films can be prepared by meal organic decomposition technique. For the preparation of bismuth iron garnet film, the buffer layer with garnet structure is necessary and the detail annealing conditions of the buffer layer for the high performance of magneto-optical effect have been found to be between 620 and 630 degree C.application/pdfdepartmental bulletin pape
