System-on-Chip Based Driver Drowsiness Detection and Warning System
The aim of this project is to detect the drowsiness level of the driver in the vehicle, to warn the driver and to prevent possible accidents. Percentage Eye Closure (PERCLOS) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) are used to detect drowsiness. The system is implemented on Xilinx PYNQ-Z2 development board. The system is tested under real world conditions in real time. A high accuracy rate of 92% and a fast working system with 0.8 s is achieved. A speaker is activated to warn the driver when drowsiness is detected. Moreover, the drowsiness information is sent to the cloud by using a Wi-Fi module.2-s2.0-8514270132

Single-slice microwave imaging of breast cancer by reverse time migration
Purpose Microwave imaging of breast cancer is considered and a new microwave imaging prototype including the imaging algorithm, the antenna array, and the measurement configuration is presented. The prototype aims to project the geometrical features of the anomalies inside the breast to a single-slice image at the coronal plane depending on the complex dielectric permittivity variation among the tissues to aid the diagnosis . Methods The imaging prototype uses a solid cylindrical dielectric platform, where a total of 24 optimized Vivaldi antennas are embedded inside to form a uniform circular antenna array. The center of the platform is carved to create a hollow part for placement of the breast and the multistatic, microwave scattering parameters are collected with the antenna array around the hollow center. The dielectric platform further enhances the microwave impedance matching against the breast fat tissue and preserves the vertical polarization during the measurements. In the imaging phase, a computationally efficient inverse electromagnetic scattering method-reverse time migration (RTM)-is considered and adapted in terms of scattering parameters to comply with the actual measurements. Results The prototype system is experimentally tested against tissue-mimicking breast phantoms with realistic dielectric permittivity profiles. The reconstructed single-slice images accurately determined the locations and the geometrical extents of the tumor phantoms. These experiments not only verified the microwave imaging prototype but also provided the first experimental results of the imaging algorithm. Conclusions The presented prototype system implementing the RTM method is capable of reconstructing single-slice, nonanatomical images, where the hotspots correspond to the geometrical projections of the anomalies inside the breast.WOS:0008427435000012-s2.0-8513592233935942614Science Citation Index ExpandedArticle; Early AccessUluslararası işbirliği ile yapılmayan - HAYIRAugustYÖK - 2021-2

Muteri Krediverilebilirligini Psikometrik Olfek ve Yapay Ogrenme ile Modellemek
Although the predictive power of economic metrics to detect the creditworthiness of the customers is high, there is a rising interest in the integration of cognitive, psychological, behavioral, alternative, and demographic data into credit risk systems and processing the data through modern methods. The primary motivation for the rising interest is increased customer classification accuracy. In this research, customer creditworthiness was modeled through data consisting of personality, money attitudes, impulsivity, self-esteem, self-control, and material values and processed through artificial intelligence. The obtained findings have been evaluated as a reference point for the following research. © 2022 IEEE.2-s2.0-8514187744

Methods of predicting canine behaviour is an area covered by canine behaviour experts. This study aims to predict the behaviour of dogs during walking based on available information about dogs. In this data-driven project based on up-to-date company data, the problem of predicting dog behaviour was addressed in two different ways. First, it is aimed to create a supervised classification model. Within the scope of this study, improvements were made to various classification algorithms. The results were analyzed in different axes. Secondly, it is aimed to create a new parameter that predicts dog walking difficulties by formulating the parameters. © 2022 IEEE.2-s2.0-8513870099
