    Impact properties of polydimethylsiloxane copolymerized polycarbonate and application of the time-temperature superposition principle

    In this study, high-speed tensile testing for notched specimen is conducted to investigate the impact property of Polydimethylsiloxane copolymerized Polycarbonate (PDMS-PC) compared with Polycarbonate (PC). Depending on the test temperature and tensile speed, brittle or ductile fractures are observed for PC. However, only ductile fractures are seen for PDMS-PC even at the high speed 7000mm/s and low temperature 243K. The impact properties are also considered in terms of the time-temperature superposition principle. Then, master curves for the final fracture elongation for both PC and PDMS-PC are constructed in terms of the strain rate at the notch in conjunction with shift factors. The fracture behavior can be predicted for the wide range of impact speed under various temperatures from these master curves

    The 38th Symposium on Life Information Science, August 20-26, 2014, Masutomi Hot Spring, Hokuto-City, Yamanashi, Japan指先血管の画像処理による評価法についての研究を行った.指先毛細血管の臨床画像を用いて,特徴点抽出により指先血管の輪郭の抽出を試みた.また,臨床画像より指先血管の状態について数値化を行い,自動的にパラメータを算出するプログラムを作成したことで処理の簡易化を実現した.さらに,画像処理により血管形状のパラメータを測定しその測定結果をサプリメントの性能評価に役立てることができた. We examined the evaluation method by image processing of the fingertip blood vessels. Using the clinical Figures of the nailfold capillary, we tried to clear characteristics of the fingertip capillaries by the feature point extraction. Also it has been realized to simplify the process by performing the numerical values for the state of the fingertip blood vessel from the clinical picture, to prepare a program for calculating the parameters automatically. Further, it could be useful to evaluate the performance of supplementation measuring the parameters of the microcapillary shape by image processing

    Image In-painting Based FMM Algorithm by Edge Prediction Using Gradient Matrix

    The 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Image Processing 2014 (ICISIP2014), September 26-29, 2014, Nishinippon Institute of Technology, Kitakyushu, JapanIn this paper, we propose an improved image in-painting method based on Fast Matching Method (FMM) algorithm. The traditional approach speeds less time but it cannot contribute an optimal edge result. To overcome this disadvantage and improve the edge effect. First we use gradient matrix to select less but more significant pixels to join into the gray value calculation. Secondly we use an edge prediction method to predict the edge in the in-painting region and reset the in-painting sequence. Furthermore, this procedure also had an advantage in in-painting the image which had a large destroyed region. Therefore, our improved method contributes an obvious edge for in-painting procedure than the traditional method
