審 査 結 果 の 要 旨 
１.論文の評価
申請者の論文では、直径 300 nm以下の球状の有機／無機媒体に対してランタニド(III)イオンを導入
した系における増感発光ならびにその挙動の詳細について記述されている。当該論文における主な成果
は以下の通りである。 
（１）微小球状イオン交換媒体に担持するという極めて簡便な手法によってテルビウム(III)イオンか
らの発光が増感されることを見出した。
（２）微小球状イオン交換媒体に配位部位を導入することによって配位部位に光エネルギーが捕集され、
前章のシステムでは観測できなかったユウロピウム(III)イオンからの増感発光を観測すること
に成功した。 
（３）球状無機化合物を介してテルビウム(III)イオンと増感色素を複合化することに成功し、その増
感発光の変化を通してクロム酸や過マンガン酸イオンを検出できることを実証した。
ランタニド(III)イオンは 4f軌道に由来する色純度の高い発光を示すことが知られているが、その励
起／発光確率はいずれも低く、極めて弱い発光しか示さない。申請者が開発したシステムは、従来の合
成化学的なランタニド(III)発光体の開発と一線を画す特徴的なものである。 
  公開論文審査会においては、提出された学位論文および以上の成果をまとめた発表をもとに、試料
の合成・調製や物性データの解釈などについて質疑がなされ、申請者の学位論文が高い学術的新規
性・独自性を有し、合格に値すると判断された。 
２.審査の経過と結果
（１）令和７年１月 15 日 ５名の審査委員のもと協議され、博士後期課程委員会で学位論文の受理
を決定した。 
（２）令和７年２月 12 日 公開論文審査発表会及び最終試験を実施した。 
（３）令和７年３月３日 博士後期課程委員会で学位授与を可とし、教育研究審議会で承認された。

要約: ⾥⼭地域では、かつて豊富だった⽔資源の枯渇により、研究活動における
飲料⽔の確保が課題となっている。本活動では、佐岡地区にある⾥⼭研究フィー
ルドにおいて、現地資源を活⽤した持続可能な飲料⽔確保⼿法の構築を⽬指し
た。まず横⽳井⼾の調査を⾏ったが、⽔源としての安定利⽤が困難であることが
判明したため、沢⽔を対象にろ過および煮沸による⽔質改善を試みた。ろ過材に
は⾃作した⽵炭と⾥⼭で採取した砂利を⽤い、さらに簡易かまどを設置して効率
的な煮沸を⾏った。初期の⽔質検査では良好な結果が得られたものの、最終的な
保健所検査では飲料基準を満たさなかった。今後は、蒸留の精度向上や効率的な
⼤量処理⼿法の確⽴を通じ、より安全で持続可能な飲料⽔確保の実現を⽬指す。 
 
1．はじめに 
 ⾥⼭研究フィールドは、元来⽔が豊富な
地域であり、その⽔が⽥畑を潤し、地域住⺠
の⽣活に⽔を供給していた。しかし、近年で
は地下⽔の枯渇が進み、かつて豊富であっ
た⽔資源の利⽤が難しくなっている。現在、
付近の沢には⽔が流れているものの、その
⽔が飲⽤に適しているかどうかは不明であ
り、安全に利⽤するための明確な⼿法が確
⽴されていない。そのためこれまで研究活

動中の飲料⽔は、各⾃で購⼊・持参すること
で確保していたが、この⽅法では経済的負
担がかかるだけでなく、持ち運びの労⼒な
ど⾮効率な⾯が多くあった。 
そこで、本活動では、⾥⼭研究フィールド
において現地の⽔資源を最⼤限に活⽤し、
安全で持続可能な飲料⽔確保の⼿法を検討
することとした。これにより、研究者の負担
軽減と、地域資源の有効活⽤の両⽴を⽬指
すことを⽬的とする。 
図１には、⽔が観測できた場所を⽰す。 
 
2．目的  
本活動の⽬的は、⾥⼭研究フィールドに
おいて、⾃然環境を活⽤した持続可能な飲
料⽔確保の⼿法を確⽴することである。具
体的には、かつて近隣住⺠によって使われ
ていたと考えられる横⽳井⼾の調査とろ過
や蒸溜といった飲み⽔化⼿法の構築という
2 点について検討を⾏った。 
 
3．手法  
 本活動における飲料⽔確保⼿法の検討⽅
法を、図 2 のフローチャートに⽰す。 
 
先ず横⽳井⼾の調査を⾏い、⽔が存在す
るかを確認する。横⽳井⼾に⽔があり、かつ
利⽤可能であれば、その⽔を活⽤した飲料
⽔の確保を検討する。⼀⽅で、横⽳井⼾に⽔
がない、または⽔があっても利⽤不可と判
断された場合には、沢⽔を活⽤し、ろ過また
は蒸留によって飲料⽔化を⾏う⼿法を検討
する。 
 
4．横穴井戸の調査 
横⽳井⼾の位置関係を⽰す図を図 1 に、横
⽳井⼾の⽴⾯図を図 3 に、調査で得られた
平⾯図を図 4 に⽰す。平⾯図に⽰すように
横⽳井⼾の奥⾏きはさらに続いている可能
性があったが、安全⾯を考慮し、調査は断念
した。

図５に調査時の内部の様⼦を⽰した。調
査は降⾬のあった翌⽇に⾏われており、地
中には潤沢に⽔分が蓄えられていると予想
されるが、横⽳内部では、⽔が安定的に湧き
出るわけではなく、⽔の質・量ともに最低⽔
準を確保できる⾒込みはなかった。 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
5．蒸留または蒸留による水質改善 
横⽳井⼾の⽔が利⽤できないため、沢⽔
を活⽤することとし、⽔質改善のための⼿
法として蒸留またはろ過の検討を⾏った。
研究フィールドの付近には南部に農業⽤⽔
が、東部には沢⽔が流れており、農業⽤⽔は
⽔量が豊富であるものの、使⽤には権利が
必要であるため、本活動では権利を必要と
しない沢⽔を活⽤することとした。 
蒸留とろ過の利点と課題について、蒸留
は⽔を加熱し、蒸気を冷却して凝縮させる
ことで不純物を除去するため、より純度の
⾼い⽔を得ることができる。しかし、その過
程には時間がかかり、得られる⽔の量が少
ないため、⼤量の⽔を確保するには⾮効率
であった。⼀⽅で、ろ過では不純物の除去が
可能であり、短時間で⽐較的多くの⽔を処
理できるが、溶解性の不純物の除去が難し
く、純度の⾯では蒸留に劣る。 
 
5.1 蒸留 
 実際に沢⽔を⽤いて、図 6 のような⽅法
で蒸留を⾏い、採取した⽔を蒸発させ、凝縮
した⽔が中央の器に溜まるような設計にな
っている。 
蒸留前後の⽔質を⽐較した結果、変化は
⾒られず、⽔道⽔と⽐較した際には、異なっ
た値を⽰す成分があったが、いずれの値に
関しても、飲⽤する上で問題の無い値であ
った。(表 1)

この結果から、そもそも沢⽔の⽔質が⽐
較的良好であり、飲⽤に適している可能性
が⽰唆された。そのため、本活動ではろ過を
採⽤することとした。 
 
5.2 ろ過 
ろ過の⼿法として、砂利や⽵炭を⽤いた
ろ過と煮沸による殺菌を組み合わせる⽅法
を採⽤した。ろ過装置に⽤いる構成は、フィ
ルターを除き、⾥⼭で収集・作成が可能な資
材である砂利や⽵炭を⽤いることで、現地
資源を活⽤した持続可能な⼿法とした。⽵
炭は⾃作し、ろ過材および燃料として利⽤
した。 
 
5.2.1 竹炭の作成方法 
①ペール⽸の準備 
ペール⽸に数か所の⽳を開け、底部には
敷⽊を配置する。(図 7,図 8) 
②⽵の設置 
 ２０cm 程度に切った⽵を菅野中に並べ、
その上に上⽊を乗せる。(図 9,図 10) 
③加熱 
 ⽸に蓋をし、強⽕で加熱を開始する。

④煙の変化を確認 
 加熱の初期段階では⽩い煙が⽴ち上るが、
しばらくすると煙が⻘⾊に変化する。

⽸ごと⼟に埋めて密閉し、炭化処理(精錬)

5.2.2 簡易かまどの作成 
 ⽵炭の作成や煮沸容易を⾏うために、以
下の条件を満たす簡易かまどを設計・制作
した。 
 ⽵炭の制作が容易で効率的にでき
ること 
 延焼の危険性が低い安全な設計で
あること 
 汎⽤性が⾼く、⽵炭制作・煮沸・⽵
の油抜き・調理などに活⽤できるこ
と 
制作にあたっては、まず深さ 15cm ほど掘
削し、⽡などを配置して基礎を整えた(図 15、
16)。掘り出した周辺の粘⼟に枯草と⽔を加
えてよく混ぜ(図 17,18)、さらに耐⽕セメン
トを加えて(図 19)成形し、⽔和反応を経て
焼き⼊れを⾏うことで完成した(図 20)。

また、完成後の使⽤⽅法については図
21,22 に⽰すように、下段の網に燃料を置く
ことで灰を落としながら酸素を供給できる
構造となっている。上段の網には、煮沸する
鍋などを直接載せて加熱することが可能で
あり、調理や⽵の油抜きなど多⽤途に対応
できる。 
 
5.2.3 ろ過結果 
ろ過には、砂利層と⽵炭層を重ねて設け
た濾過装置を使⽤した。その構成を図 23 に
⽰す。実験当初の結果では、表 2 のように
⽔の⽔質において市販のミネラルウォータ
ーと⼤きな差は⾒られず、本⼿法の有効性
が⽰された。 
しかしその後、保健所にて⽔質検査を依
頼した結果、飲料⽔中に異物が混⼊してい
るとしての基準は満たしていないとの判断
を受けた。（異物が何かの判断はできなかっ
たが、煮沸を⾏った際に、灰が混⼊したこと
が原因だと推測される。）このため、蒸留の
精度検証や効率的な蒸留⽅法を検討すると
ともに、定期的な⽔質検査を継続して⾏う
体制づくりが課題となる。こうした技術的
補完により、安全で持続可能な⽔利⽤の実
現を⽬指す。

6. 結果 
本活動では、⾥⼭研究フィールドにおけ
る飲料⽔確保の⼿法として、沢⽔をろ過＋
煮沸による沢⽔の飲み⽔化を⾏った。また、
この⽅法を実施するための⽵炭作成と簡易
かまどの構築も⾏った。しかし最終的な精
密検査の結果飲料⽔としての適さないとい
う結果となった。今後の発展としては、以下
の点が挙げられる。 
・蒸留時の⽔質精密検査 
・⼤量の⽔を蒸留の作成 
・かまどの構造改善による効率向上 
これらの課題を解決することで、より持
続可能な⽔確保の仕組みを構築できると考

Abstract: In the Satoyama region, the depletion of once-abundant water resources has created 
challenges in securing drinking water for research activities. This project aimed to develop a 
sustainable method of procuring drinking water by utilizing local resources at the Satoyama 
Research Field in the Saoka district. Initial investigations focused on a horizontal well, but it 
was deemed unsuitable as a stable water source. Consequently, spring water was selected as 
an alternative, and methods for water purification through filtration and boiling were explored. 
Gravel and homemade bamboo charcoal were used as filter media, and a simple kiln was 
constructed to facilitate efficient boiling. While preliminary water quality tests indicated 
favorable results, the final health inspection determined that the water did not meet drinking 
standards. Future work will focus on improving the precision of distillation processes and 
establishing efficient mass-treatment methods to achieve safe and sustainable drinking water.

Land fragmentation is a growing worldwide trend which is known to be influenced by external factors, 
such as population growth, economic uncertainties and policies. These factors have contributed to 
gradual reduction in farm sizes over time. Meanwhile, climate change remains a major global concern, 
having a negative impact on agriculture, food security and sustainability. During the transition from 
centrally planned to market-based economies, land reform was a top-priority agenda for many 
countries, including those of the former-Soviet Union. In some cases, land reforms have been reported 
to impact agriculture, economic performances and indicators of countries along with water users, 
allocations and adaptations. For instance, Tajikistan's government initiated a land reform, reorganizing 
the former collective and state farms to enhance agricultural productivity and rural employment. 
However, the reform proceeded without fully anticipating associated challenges related to land use,

water allocations and climate adaptation. Therefore, it is crucial to understand how land fragmentation 
(consolidation) in land-reform processes affects water availability and adaptation responses to climate 
change, particularly in irrigated agriculture. This thesis investigates the relationships between land 
fragmentation and irrigation water allocations and climate change adaptation. It also identifies factors 
influencing farmers' land allocation decisions in Tajikistan. Consequently, the aim of this study is to 
examine the consequences of land reform and the driving forces of land fragmentation and suggest 
some possible policy recommendations to improve irrigation water availability, adaptation responses to 
climate change and input-supply issues for food security and sustainability in Tajikistan. 
 
The first study in this research investigates the question of ``how the number of water users is related 
to irrigation water allocations in land reforms,'' hypothesizing that an increase in the number of water 
users through land fragmentation poses negative threats to water allocations through the mediation of 
irrigation types. We conduct empirical analyses for irrigation water demand and availability, utilizing 
panel data for 25 years of the post-Soviet land-reform processes from 13 regions in Sughd province, 
Tajikistan. Two main results are obtained: First, the irrigated areas are the main drivers that increase 
irrigation water demand in comparison to other factors, and the impact by pump-irrigated areas is 
approximately 1.6 times as large as that by gravity-irrigated areas. Second, the increasing number of 
water users under land fragmentation in Tajikistan tends to reduce irrigation water availability, and 
the magnitude of reduction under pump irrigation is more significant than that under gravity 
irrigation. Overall, this research establishes that irrigations and the number of water users through 
land reforms matter for a change in water allocations, and the interactions pose particularly 
idiosyncratic threats to irrigation water availability. Thus, it is advisable to reassess ongoing land-
reform policies incorporating the possible negative externality of land fragmentation as well as 
irrigation for food security and water sustainability in agriculture.

In the second study, we investigate how farm sizes influence the adaptations in consideration to 
irrigation-related, cognitive and socioecological factors reflecting farming culture and history, 
hypothesizing that large-size farms adapt to climate change as compared to small-size ones in 
Tajikistan, where collective farming, `̀ Kolkhoz and Sovkhoz,’’ had been practiced. The data were 
collected through a questionnaire survey with 800 farmers on their adaptations, farm sizes, climatic 
perceptions, irrigation water availability and other factors. We conduct statistical analyses utilizing the 
indicator to characterize farmers' adaptation responses. The results indicate an importance of farm 
sizes on adaptations, demonstrating that small-size farms adapt less than large-size farms, but 
increases their adaptations when they have good climatic perceptions and irrigation water availability. 
Overall, this research confirms an advantage of large-size farms for adaptations based on Tajikistan 
farming culture and history. Thus, the ongoing land-fragmentation policy should be reconsidered for 
possible losses in adaptations, as it has been drastically increasing the number of small-size farms. 
Otherwise, it is essential to support the small-size farms for acquiring good perceptions and enough 
water. 
 
In the third study, we investigate the relationship between input-price deviations and farmers’ land-
allocation decisions, considering that the associated risks are well approximated by farm sizes. It is 
hypothesized that small-size farms respond to input-price deviations through land fragmentation as 
compared to large-size ones. Econometric analyses are conducted with data from a questionnaire 
survey of 800 farmers, spanning input-price deviations, their perceptions to the price deviations, farm 
sizes, cognitive and socioeconomic factors. To model farmers’ land-allocation decisions, a new indicator 
is developed to quantify the degree of their land fragmentation, being used on top of the existing ones in 
our analyses. The results highlight an importance of farm sizes in land-allocation decisions,

demonstrating that medium- and small-size farms diversify crops by fragmenting their land against to 
a positive input-price deviation, whereas large-size ones do not. Overall, this study establishes that the 
input price is a key for farmers’ decisions, that is, small-size and medium-size farms promote land 
fragmentation as the positive deviation on input price rises. Thus, it is important to introduce some new 
agricultural policies, such as subsidy programs, government support and cooperative initiatives to 
stabilize input prices for sustainable food productions where a majority of farms are small- and/or 
medium-sized in the world.

階層意思決定法により価値観に対する本人の「重要度（重み）」と企業が施策や制度を通じて提供し
てくれる自分が働くにあたって大事にしている価値観と、企業側がどの程度対応したのかの「評価」の
積分値により「離職」と「継続」を相対評価できる基礎的研究を可能にした学術的新規性が評価できる。
また、従来、企業･現場で勘と経験に頼ってきた人事労務管理に対して、職員の価値観を計測し、企業
側の評価と合わせた「離職」危険性を評価できる客観的な分析手法を提供し、離職防止に寄与できるこ
とから、実務的インパクトも大きいと評価できる。離職する女性はどういう行動および心理プロセスで
離職しそのプロセスの中でどういう要因が離職に至る心理に作用しているのかについても明らかにし
た。

および企業側に責任がある②の内容を明らかにしたことで、離職に対する雇用者、被雇用者の原因をラ
イフステージ毎に特定した極めて新規性の高い研究成果である。
女性が正社員として会社に入社したにも関わらず、結婚、出産、子育て等のライフステージで被雇用
者の価値観、企業側の提供する内容の評価の相互作用を、ライフステージを通した統合モデル化を行い、
企業の職員分析と政策立案を可能とした。特に、ライフステージ毎に「価値観」の変化が明らかになり、
「余暇」と「家族への愛」がライフステージを通して「重要度（重み）」が高く、離職する女性社員が
多いのは、会社側がこの要因を重点的に手当てをしないことが原因であることが分かった。 
定性的、断片的に「出産」「子育て中」が離職防止には大切とされてきたが、実はそうではなく、全
ライフステージで職員の価値観と企業評価を共通の基礎的モデルで変化を計測し、管理するべきである
ことを示した。 
なお、提出された論文において内容に問題は無いが、一部の丁寧な記述の指摘があり対応している。 
２.審査の経過と結果

（１）令和７年１月 15 日 ５名の審査委員のもと協議され、博士後期課程委員会で学位論文の受理
を決定した。 
（２）令和７年２月 12 日 公開論文審査発表会及び最終試験を実施した。 
（３）令和７年３月３日 博士後期課程委員会で学位授与を可とし、教育研究審議会で承認された。
