PAUL KLEE UND OSTASIEN - KRITISCHE ANALYSE DER ENTSTEHUNGSGESCHICHTE DER ≫SCHRIFTBILDER≪ VON 1916
Paul Klee schuf 1916 einen Zyklus von Schriftbildern, bestehend aus sechs Aquarellen nach Gedichten aus dem Band Chinesische Lyrik vom 12. Jahrhundert v. Chr. Bis zur Gegenwart (übersetzt von Hans Heilmann, München/Leipzig 1905). Laut der bisherigen Forschung kam Klee im Jahr 1916 in den Besitz dieses Buches. Eine genaue Untersuchung der Bücher aus Klees Nachlass im Zentrum Paul Klee ergab jedoch, dass der Band ein Geschenk des Ehepaars Alexander und Zina Eliasberg an Paul und Lily Klee zu Weihnachten 1909 war. Die Eliasbergs gehörten in jener Zeit zu den wenigen, die Klees Kunst verstanden. Vor diesem Hintergrund erscheinen Klees Literaturstudium und seine Freundschaften in der Zeit vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg bis zur Erschaffung der Schriftbilder im Jahr 1916 und deren Einfluss auf seine Reflexionen zu Ostasien in einem neuen Licht.
Zwei Schriftbilder Klees geben Passagen aus Wang Zeng Rus Gedicht Die einsame Gattin wieder, das zur poetischen Gattung »gui yuan shi« gehört, die durch das Motiv der Traurigkeit und Einsamkeit der Frau gekennzeichnet ist. Für diese Gattung prägend ist das Bild der Ehefrau, die sich im einsamen Schlafzimmer in der Heimat nach ihrem ins Feld gezogenen Gatten sehnt und die Trennung von ihm beklagt. Klees Wahl des Gedichts Die einsame Gattin hatte vor dem Hintergrund des 1. Weltkriegs eine pazifistische Note, die mit seinem Hinterglasbild aus dem Jahr 1916 Weihnachtsarbeiten für die Feldgrauen in Zusammenhang steht. Klees Schriftbilder wurden 1917 in der Galerie von Herwarth Walden ausgestellt und trugen zum Erfolg des Künstlers auf dem Kunstmarkt bei. Ostasien wurde für ihn nicht nur zu einem Vorbild des Pazifismus und einem fernen utopischen Ort, dem er sich in seiner Kunst anzunähern versuchte und von dem aus er die europäische Gesellschaft kritisieren konnte, sondern auch zu einem Wegweiser des Erfolgs.journal articl
Vision-Based Moving Obstacle Detection and Tracking in Paddy Field Using Improved Yolov3 and Deep SORT
Using intelligent agricultural machines in paddy fields has received great attention.
An obstacle avoidance system is required with the development of agricultural machines. In order to
make the machines more intelligent, detecting and tracking obstacles, especially the moving obstacles
in paddy fields, is the basis of obstacle avoidance. To achieve this goal, a red, green and blue (RGB)
camera and a computer were used to build a machine vision system, mounted on a transplanter.
A method that combined the improved You Only Look Once version 3 (Yolov3) and deep Simple
Online and Realtime Tracking (deep SORT) was used to detect and track typical moving obstacles,
and figure out the center point positions of the obstacles in paddy fields. The improved Yolov3 has
23 residual blocks and upsamples only once, and has new loss calculation functions. Results showed
that the improved Yolov3 obtained mean intersection over union (mIoU) score of 0.779 and was
27.3% faster in processing speed than standard Yolov3 on a self-created test dataset of moving
obstacles (human and water buffalo) in paddy fields. An acceptable performance for detecting and
tracking could be obtained in a real paddy field test with an average processing speed of 5–7 frames
per second (FPS), which satisfies actual work demands. In future research, the proposed system could
support the intelligent agriculture machines more flexible in autonomous navigation.journal articl
中詰め材が異なる2層のジオセルで構成されるのり面保護工に関する散水模型実験
本研究では,中詰め材が異なる2層のジオセルで構成されるのり面保護工に関して,浸透抑制効果を定量的に評価することを目的とした散水模型実験を行った.本保護工では砕石を充填したジオセルの上に,不織布と砂質土を充填したジオセルを設置することで,雨水や融雪水に対する浸透抑制を期待している.また,砂質土層を基盤として緑化させることで雨滴侵食を抑制し,浸透水や湧水による凍結融解作用を受けたのり面極表層の侵食は砕石によって抑制することを期待している.この結果,55 mm/h 程度の散水量であれば,回収した総水量の30 %程度しか模型盛土に浸透していないことや,のり尻の排水性を高めることで更に浸透水量を抑制できること等を確認した.journal articl
盛土材の凍結が補強材に与える影響を把握するための試験装置の開発
現在の設計指針や各種マニュアルには,凍上対策として壁面の背後に凍上抑制層や断熱材を設置することが明記されているが,これ以前に構築された補強土壁も存在する.このような補強土壁に関して,維持管理の中で変状の危険性を把握するためには,周辺土の凍上が補強材に与える影響について詳細に検討することが重要である.そこで本研究では,補強材に作用する鉛直応力や補強材周辺の凍結領域をコントロールできる試験装置を新たに開発し,これを用いた幾つかの実験を行った.その結果,補強材に作用する鉛直応力や盛土材の凍上性や凍結領域によって,補強材に生じるひずみの大きさや分布に変化が生じることが分かった.journal articl
EXAMINATION OF ICE JAM CONSIDERING THE EFFECT OF BACK WATER IN THE KENUFUCHI RIVER
On March 9, 2018, an ice jam occurred on the Kenefuchi River a tributary of Chitose river, due to rainfall and rising temperatures. The Kenefuchi River is narrow and has several bridges, etc., making it more vulnerable to ice jam. These ice jams can cause collision of floating ice and floods. In river management, it is important to understand how the formation of ice jam is controlled by different hydraulic conditions. In this study, we performed numerical calculations on the Kenefuchi River to quantitatively understand how the ice jam formation condition changes with boundary conditions. Considering that the boundary conditions of Kenefuchi river are affected by the water level of the main river, i.e. Chitose River, we focused on the water level at the downstream end of the kenefuchi river. We examined how it affects the formation, melting and flow of river ice.
The numerical calculations suggest that a rise in the water level in the main river increased the range of area in which ice jams occurred. It also increased the time required for resolving the ice jams. Increased water level in the main river affects the backwater in the Kenefuchi River, contributing to an increase in the number of ice jam Also, a phenomenon was observed in which multiple ice jams united to form one large ice jam. From this, it was found that it is necessary to consider the influence of backwater to correctly determine the location and scale of the ice jam.journal articl

トルクレンチとクラウドストレージを活用することで,高い頻度での盛土材料の適否確認ができ,施工地に不

Tutorials for Integrating 3D Printing in Engineering Curricula
Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) printing can revolutionize the way products have been designed
and manufactured. This necessitates engineering graduates equipped with the knowledge and
skills of 3D printing. As a result, the educational aspects of 3D printing have earned a great deal of
attention. Nevertheless, to teach 3D printing in an undergraduate engineering degree program, an
outcomes-oriented approach integrating engineering design, object visualization/digitization, and
3D printing domains can be used. Accordingly, this study presents a tutorial development method
to teach undergraduate engineering students the knowledge and skills of 3D printing. The method
integrates the abovementioned domains maintaining a hierarchy among the seven ABET-prescribed
outcomes. The hierarchy organizes the outcomes into three levels (primary, secondary, and tertiary).
The presented method is implemented by introducing a tutorial where a spur gear-pinion pair is
designed, visualized, digitized, and 3D printed systematically. E-learning tools can be developed to
deliver the tutorial online.journal articl
ジオセルを用いた舗装路の段差抑制に関する検討
平成30年9月の北海道胆振東部地震において,札幌市では清田区での液状化現象を主たる要因とした地盤沈 下や土砂流出の他に,盛土部分が圧縮・流動することで,切土部分との境界に生じた段差による交通障害も発 生した.既にジオシンセティックスを用いた効果的な段差抑制工が提案されているが,生活道路では埋設管工 事の際に撤去や再構築が容易であるといった機能も必要である.そこで本研究では,展開するとハニカム構造 の立体補強材となるジオセルに着目し,模型試験と実大実験によってジオセルを用いた舗装路の段差抑制工に 関する検討を行った.journal articl
開発途上国の都市河川流域における環境管理のための重金属輸送と汚染の評価方法論
北見工業大学博士(工学)In recent several decades, using of numerical computational models is getting more popular by planners, managers, engineers and scientists in different fields. Therefore, the assessment based on numerical computational models in water quality management seems promising.
The industrial activities have been caused severe damage to water ecosystems over time. The intensive industrial activities in urban area caused a significant increase in the quantities of hazardous materials, being released into rivers during wastewater disposal. The heavy metals are among the most prominent and danger pollutants resulting by the industrial activities. The monitoring of these pollutants in riverine systems is one of the most important water management challenges, because of their toxicity and their potential to accumulate and persist in the environment. Several studies related to the water quality modeling have been demonstrated the effectiveness of the hydrological models as powerful tools in prediction of heavy metal fate and transport in riverine systems.
The main objective of this thesis is evaluation methodology on heavy metals transport and pollution with the help of a distributed hydrological model (DHM), for environment management in urban river basins in developing countries.
The thesis addresses the evaluation of the effectiveness of Geophysical Flow Circulation (Geo-CIRC) model based on Object Oriented Design (OOD) in modeling of multiple heavy metals transport in Harrach River in Algeria which is severely polluted with various heavy metals originating from industrial activities, in order to use as a helpful monitoring tool in water quality management of rivers. As well, a simple approach for varied partition coefficient (Kd) modeling was proposed in order to enhance and increase the model accuracy for simulation of heavy metals concentrations in river sediments.
The results showed that the Geo-CIRC model was able to simulate simultaneously the transport of multiple heavy metals in a river and present a comprehensive description of river contamination with only a minimal amount of observational data, where the application of OOD increased the model's effectiveness, by improving the model’s flexibility even many unknown point sources exist, and supported the inclusion of multiple heavy metals in the simulation with reasonable accuracy. Likewise, the proposed empirical multivariate regression model was useful in estimation of the potential variables of the partition coefficient with physicochemical properties changes, as well introducing these changes in simulation increased the result accuracy of the model.
Including of Geo-CIRC model in monitoring strategy can provide comprehensive assessment of the environmental state in the river systems with less cost in short time by using less effort because of the OOD’s advantage. Likewise, the model feature allows us to be able to simultaneously utilize much information which could be taken from limited monitoring data. As well, the proposed partition coefficient model can enforce the availability of sediment data.doctoral thesi
