Bu araştırmanın amacı bu belirsiz (muğlâk) durumda öznenin özellikle modern ve modern sonrasında öznenin iletişim araçları tarafından nasıl bir değişim ve dönüşümden geçtiğidir Araştırmanın kapsam alanı ise bilim ve teknik devrimi, aydınlanma ve rasyonel düşünce, 18. yüzyıl sanayi devrimi ve kapitalizmin gelişimi, pozitivizm ve teknik tahakküm, modernleşmenin öznenin dönüşümüne etkisi, gibi faktörlerin tek tek analize tabi tutulmasıdır. Ayrıca iletişim araçlarında yaşanan değişim ve dönüşüme bağlı olarak yeniden şekillenen kültürel süreçler ve bu süreçlerin özne üzerindeki etkisi merak konusudur. Yazılı kültür ve öznenin dönüşümü, tipografik kültür ve öznenin dönüşümü, elektrik-elektronik kültür ve öznenin dönüşümü, dijital kültür ve öznenin dönüşümü araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmanın teorik yanı üçüncü bölümde örnek filmler üzerinde tasvir edilmiştir. Bu filmler seçilirken özellikle bilim kurgu sinemasından örnekler seçilmeye özen gösterilmiştir. Potential distribution of the caracal (Caracal caracal Schreber, 1776) under climate change
No full textThe Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) predicts an increase in global temperatures of between 1.48 °C and 5.88 °C during the 21st century. Using climatic habitat suitability (climate envelope) models, we assessed the potential influence of climate change on the range of the caracal (Caracal caracal Schreber) based on the IPCC’s future climatic scenarios. According to our model, the caracal faces probable local extinction risks in future warming scenarios. The results of this study indicated that the caracal’s response to climate change was dependent on its adaptive likelihood and the present and future probability of climate change. The caracal’s suitability exhibited trends toward local extinction in the future. We suggested that its placement on the IUCN Red List be reassessed. The caracal abundance is predicted to become dramatically reduced in the Mediterranean region but to increase towards the east and south of Africa due to climatic conditions in the future. Bioclimatic envelope models do not account for non-climatic factors such as land use, biotic interactions, human interference, and dispersal or history, and results should therefore be seen as first approximations of the potential magnitude of effect of future climatic change for the caracal species
High value-added product development process in international marketing: A research on Turkish mining sector

Rekabetin oldukça yoğun hale gelmesi, sınır kavramını önemini kaybetmesi gibi nedenlerle uluslararası pazarlara açılan şirketler rekabet avantajına sahip olabilmek için ürün ya da hizmetlerinde yüksek katma değer sağlamalıdır. Markanın en önemli kısmını oluşturan katma değer, ürünün öne çıkmasını sağlamaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında ilk üç bölümde uluslararasılaşma, uluslararası pazarlama ve katma değer kavramlarına ilişkin literatür çalışması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca Türkiye'deki madencilik sektörüne ilişkin verilere yer verilmiştir. Uygulamanın yapıldığı çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde ise Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (AHP) modeli kullanılarak madencilik sektörü için Türkiye ile bazı ülkeler belirlenen çeşitli kriterler çerçevesinde derecelendirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda sektöre ilişkin daha doğru bilgilere ulaşabilmek için Türkiye'deki madencilik sektöründe çalışan üst düzey yöneticilerden, danışmanlık yapan ve yönetim kurullarında yer alan kişilerden oluşan 10 kişi ile çalışma yapılmıştır.With globalization, competition has now moved to the international level due to the influence of various factors. Companies that open to international markets for reasons such as the fact that the competition is becoming extremely intense, losing the importance of the concept of borders, must provide high value added in their products or services to gain competitive advantage. The added value, which makes up the most important part of the brand, makes the product stand out. In the first three chapters, literature study on internationalization, international marketing and value added concepts was conducted. It also includes data on the mining industry in Turkey. In the fourth part of the study where the application is performed, the Analytical Hierarchy process (AHP) model is rated for the mining industry by Turkey and some countries within a set set set set set set range of criteria. survival, risk, and other survival study functions of the log-logistic distribution. The parameters were defined in
the input layer of the artificial neural network developed for the purpose of survival analysis and reliability
function, hazard rate function, probability density function, reserved hazard rate function, Mills ratio, Odd
function and CHR values were obtained in the output layer. The findings show that risk function increases with
the increase in the time of infection and then decreases for a group of breast cancer patients under study, which
corresponds to the theoretical properties of this according to the practical conclusions. The examination of
survival analysis reveals that practical conclusions correspond to the theoretical properties of log-logistic dis tribution. Artificial neural networks have proven to be one of the ideal tools that can be used to predict various
vital parameters, especially survival of cancer patients, with their high predictive capabilities

No full textIn this article, we study the novel KdV model which makes a significant contribution to the understanding of a variety of nonlinear occurrences of ion-acoustic waves in plasma and acoustic waves in harmonic crystals. Hirota bilinearization will be used to carry out the task via the proper transformations. For various polynomial functions, several soliton solution types, specifically kink and rogue wave solutions, will be examined. We also present a kink wave and rogue wave interaction solution. The discovered solutions will be illustrated graphically. The existing work is widely used to report a variety of fascinating physical occurrences in the domains of shallow-water waves, ion-acoustic waves in plasma and acoustic waves in harmonic crystals

No full textFikri Mülkiyet Hukuku temel olarak marka, telif hakkı, tasarım, patent ve coğrafi işaret sütunları üzerine inşa edilmiştir. Ancak zamanla gelişen teknik ilerleme ve çeşitlilik karşısında hukuki çözüm bekleyen birçok gri alan ve arayüz alanı ortaya çıkmıştır. Başlangıçta daha basit ve daha spesifik bir alanla sınırlı ve pek çok meseleye dair öngörü ihtiva etmeyen normların, başlangıçta dikkate alınmayan alanlara uygulanabilmesi giderek daha önemli hale gelmektedir. Gerçekten de fikri hakların başlangıçta belirlenmiş sınırlarını aşma eğiliminde olması, gelişen hayat olayları ve teknik gelişmeler ile tartışmalı alanlara dair bu kapsamda belirgin rejimlerin ortaya çıkmamış olması ve geleneksel kuralların hukuk uygulamasına konu olması meseleye dair temel zorluğu teşkil etmekle birlikte yaratımların çok yönlü olması da kümüalsyon ihtimallerini önemli ölçüde artırmaktadır. Gayri maddi unsurları konu edinmesi bakımından geleneksel mülkiyet rejimine yabancı esaslarda gelişmiş alanın içindeki kuralların yorumu ve boşlukların doldurulması pek çok zaman fikri mülkiyet politika ve teorileriyle de alaka kurmayı kaçınılmaz kılmaktadır. Böyle bir soruna bütüncül bir yaklaşımla yaklaşabilmek için, fikri mülkiyet haklarının yetersizliğinin, aşırı koruma olgusunun, fikri mülkiyet haklarına içkin menfaatlerin, rekabet olgusu ve hukuk uygulamasıyla ortaya konması gerekmektedir. Efficiency measurement with data envelopement analysis under uncertainty

Çalışma sonucunda etkin ve etkinsiz havalimanları belirlenmiş, etkin olmayan havalimanları için potansiyel iyileştirme oranları hesaplanmış ve oranlara göre yapılması gerçekleştirilmesi gereken durumlar belirtilmiştir.In this study, efficiency measurements of 42 airports operating in Turkey between 2017 and 2021 were made using deterministic, stochastic, and fuzzy data envelopment analysis methods. As a result of the study, efficient and inefficient airports were identified, potential improvement rates for inefficient airports were calculated, and necessary actions were indicated according to the rates
A Constant Time Secure and Private Evaluation of Decision Trees in Smart Cities Enabled by Mobile IoT
No full textA server has an already trained decision tree machine learning model and one or more clients have unclassified query(ies) that they wish to classify using the server's model under strict security, privacy, and efficiency constraints. To do so, already existing secure building blocks are used, improved, and adjusted to fit this scenario. On top of the proposed building blocks, novel secure and private Decision Tree Evaluation (sDTE) algorithms are proposed. The proposed building blocks show better performances than the related ones in literature in terms of computation and communication costs. Consequently, experimental evaluations over benchmark datasets show that the proposed sDTE algorithms build on top of the proposed blocks, also outperform the state-of-the-art ones in terms of computation and communication costs as well as on security and privacy characteristics. Our theoretical analysis shows that if the whole decision tree can fit in a single ciphertext, which in the proposed sDTE algorithms is almost always the case, then private tree evaluations are done in constant time and do not depend on the tree depth. To the best of the author's knowledge, this is the first scheme in literature with such properties

Sanatsal ve ticari filmler çekmiş, birçok ödül kazanmış ve Türk sinemasına önemli katkılarda bulunmuştur. Özellikle "Şeytan" filminde Pazuzu karakterinin tasvir edilmesi ve modern korku filmlerine etkisi, Metin Erksan'ın sanatsal ve sinematik etkisini göstermektedir. Metin Erksan'ın filmografisinde "Susuz Yaz", "Kuyu", "Sevmek Zamanı" gibi birçok önemli filmi bulunmaktadır. Metin Erksan'ın sinematik tarzı, ışık ve renk algısı, müzik kullanımı, karakter tasvirleri ve mekânlar gibi pek çok unsuru Türk sinemasına kazandırmıştır. Ayrıca, Metin Erksan'ın sinema dışındaki çalışmaları da oldukça önemlidir. Metin Erksan, Türk sineması üzerindeki etkisi büyüktür ve özellikle "Şeytan" filminin Pazuzu karakteri modern popüler kültüre önemli bir etki yapmıştır. Metin Erksan's filmography includes many important films such as "Susuz Yaz", "The Well", "Time to Love". Many elements such as Metin Erksan's cinematic style, perception of light and color, use of music, character descriptions and places have been brought to Turkish cinema. In addition, Metin Erksan's non-film works are also very important. Metin Erksan has a great influence on Turkish cinema, and especially the Pazuzu character of the movie "The Devil" has made a significant impact on modern popular culture. Metin Erksan brought many innovations at the end of the era of Turkish cinema and the owner of Turkish cinema produced great contributions. The Effects of the COVID-19 Outbreak on the Global Retail Industry: An Event Study Approach
No full textIn this study, we examined the COVID-19 effect in the global scale on the global retail markets with the Event Study methodology. The sample used in the study consists of data from 10 developed and developing countries in six continents, which are obtained from Reuters DataStream. The top large-cap, blue-chip companies in the stock market for each economies were included in the study, which is totaled of 91 active retail sector shares and major indices.
