An Evaluation of Various Childcare Curriculums:Impressions on Curriculum Management in Childcare Programs
No full text本稿は保育課程の編成とその評価について論述したものである。カリキュラム・マネジメントの考え方が、次回の幼稚園教育要領改訂において導入される。それはカリキュラムの編成と評価とが一体となった本来の意味での保育実践を求めている。この実践にはPDCAサイクルの機能を備えることが求められているが、とりわけ子どもの発達を家庭に伝えることを内蔵した実践が重要視される。つまり、カリキュラム・マネジメントは、地域の実情に応じて、保育課程の編成、実践、評価を一体的に行う発想である。これをいくつかの事例をあげながら考察した。実際、この方向で筆者らは保育現場との協同研究を進めている。This study examines and evaluates the organization and management of various childcare curriculums for kindergarten education procedures. Effective curriculum management includes not only enforcing the PDCA cycle, but also notifying parents of their child’s development
Creating Images from a Single Sheet of Newsprint: Practical Guidance for Newspaper Theater Arts and Craft
No full text保育内容（表現Ⅱ）の授業における表現技術「新聞紙シアター」の内容に着目し、新聞紙一枚の見開きから紡ぎだす物語の組み立てから、そのなかで小道具として登場する宝箱の制作過程を含む、学生たちの「あらわして、つたえる」力を伸ばす試みの現状について報告する。この内容で学生たちは物語を語ることを通じて子どもたちの想像力を育てる方法を学び、また子どもたちは集中力を養うことができる。This paper reviews the “Newspaper Theater” program implemented within the course Contents of Early Childhood Education and Care (Expression II) at Matsuyama Shinonome College. It also reports on the attempts to enhance the participating teacher trainees’ ability to “show and act” out each different aspect of the story they are creating from a single page of newsprint, including each different treasure that will go in a finished treasure box. With this project, teacher trainees learn how to cultivate children’s imagination through storytelling, while helping the children concentrate and listen for extended lengths of time
