A Proposal for Placement of School Social Workers in Early Childhood Development Programs
本研究は,幼稚園や保育所のSSW配置の有効性について,社会的認知度が充分ではないSSWの業務と, 具体的事例を紹介し,現状と課題を具体的に挙げて検証し,幼小期における専門職配置の必要性を論じた。 SSWの質を担保できるスーパービジョン体制や,保育士の業務軽減の為にも,幼少期におけるSSWの 導入及びシステムの構築が必要であることがあきらかになった。This study examines the need for the placement of school social workers (SSW) in nursery schools and kindergartens from three viewpoints: 1) the effectiveness of SSWs in promoting children’s health and well-being, 2) the importance of professional recognition for SSWs, and 3) the current conditions of SSWs. The authors stipulate that it is necessary to introduce a better system of supervision for SSWs in early childhood programs in order to reduce the work of nursery teachers and guarantee the quality of SSWs
Human Relations in Early Childhood Care & Education: A Study of Teacher-trainee Instruction
保育者養成における、保育内容「人間関係Ⅱ」の授業では、一人ひとりの子どもを大事にすること、子どもの自立心ややる気を育てること、道徳性の芽生えを培うこと、子どもが楽しんでいる遊びを協同的活動として発展させることなどを学ぶ。子どもは遊びを通して保育内容を総合的に学んでいる。本研究では、 保育内容の5領域を総合的にとらえている先行研究を概観し、「人間関係」の授業における保育内容の5領域を総合的にとらえる学生の学びについて考察した。At Matsuyama Shinonome College, the childcare training course Human Relations II provides practical applications of principles and concepts of interpersonal relationships in the childcare environment. In particular, the course focuses on the human relations component of an early childhood professional’s responsibilities, while stressing the importance for the teacher-trainee to motivate each child to cultivate both self-reliance and morality. Throughout the course, the student teachers encourage their students to learn class content through play. This paper gives a comprehensive overview of research in five areas of early childcare and education and examines how human relationships affect the child’s learning process in each content area in the MSC Human Relations II class
