    Assessing the Effectiveness of Project-Based Learning: A Case Study of PBL Kenshu I at Matsuyama Shinonome College

    筆者たちの勤務校である松山東雲女子大学では、2015 年度より、課題解決型学修を目的とする1 年生必修科目「PBL 研修Ⅰ」を開設した。本科目は本学のアクティブ・ラーニングの推進を大きく前進させるものと期待されている。本論文では、まず、初年度である2015 年度において本授業がどのように計画・運営されたかについて、また、授業での学生の発表内容について紹介する。次に、本授業での学生の振り返りコメント並びに授業評価アンケート結果からその教育的成果と今後の課題を述べる。In 2015 Matsuyama Shinonome College introduced a new course to its regular curricula, PBL Kenshu I [PBL Training I], a required subject for its Project-Based Learning (PBL) program. The course was designed for first year students and is expected to provide the foundation for active learning throughout their college education. The first half of the paper gives the background for introducing the PBL Kenshu I course, explains how the teaching staff designed and managed the different sections of the class, and refers to the student presentations. In the latter half, the paper examines students’ self-reflection comments as well as the questionnaire results regarding the students’ responses to the course

    本研究では、「幼児教育の方法」を支える保育者の専門性を育てるために、演劇教育にその可能性を見出しながら、保育者養成と演劇教育の関係について概観した。ノウハウやスキルとは違う、保育者としての「専門性」はどのように育てていけばいいのであろうか? それらのことを、保育者養成や教員養成における演劇教育の先行研究、演劇教育の指導者養成の先行研究、保育現場における演劇教育についての先行研 究からみていった。その中で演劇教育が「主体的でプロセスを大切」にした、深い学びの実現に向かっていることが明らかになった。This research examines the the relationship between teacher education and drama education in the Matsuyama Shinonome College course Methods of Early Childhood Education. It also looks at the need for continuing professional development in order to nurture the expertise of nursery and kindergarten teacher trainees. In particular, the inclusion of interactive theatre/drama practices that help aid the educational process are considered. The author reviewed prior research on drama in nursery schools and kindergarten and its effect on education in teacher training programs. It is clear that drama education aids in the process of realizing subjective deep learning
