This thesis will shed light on the topic of leadership, focusing primarily on companies that operate globally and employ people from diverse backgrounds. To this
end, the topic of leadership in general will be addressed first and then the topics of psychological safety and transculturality will be examined in more detail. Based on relevant literature on these topics, a survey was conducted in a company and several semi-structured interviews were conducted with managers from a global company. These are supplemented by qualitative interviews with academic experts from the fields of transculturality and psychology. Finally, the hypotheses put forward are compared with the analysed data and the resulting findings, and a conclusion and outlook are given
AI in Recruiting- Exploring the Impact of AI-Evaluated Job Interviews on Intention to Apply
AI in recruiting is used more and more in recruiting and for the evaluation of job interviews. Research has focused mainly on companies' side of AI implementation in recruiting. However, changes in demographics also make it important to look at it from the viewpoint of candidates. This thesis aims to explain how the perception of AI-evaluated job interviews influences the intention to apply. A survey is used as a data collection method with a sample of 105 participants. The results revealed that the perception of AI-evaluated job interviews positively influences the intention to apply in terms of organizational attractiveness, while anxiety negatively influences the intention to apply. However, in general, the positive effect is stronger. Other factors such as trust, fairness, intrinsic motivation, and novelty have no significant effect on the intention to apply
Analysis of Sustainability reports in the Fashion Industry
When discussing the current textile and apparel industries’ status quo, at some point attention will most likely shift towards the challenges fast fashion companies have to encounter due to the increased interest in sustainability practices. This bachelor dissertation examines the sustainability reports of three major fashion brands – Adidas, H&M, and Inditex, with the aim to gain insights of the current situation of non-financial reporting.
The study examines how companies address various aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors within their sustainability reports. It also investigates whether these companies prioritize different topics in their practices. Furthermore, the research evaluates how extensively fashion companies incorporate industry-standard KPIs to measure and compare their
sustainability performances.
The results show that the three companies focus on ESG factors differently, with environmental issues being consistently addressed, although the degrees of emphasis vary. Inditex emerges as a leader in fulfilling ESG criteria, with Adidas and H&M closely behind. Analyzing a company’s KPIs reveals a range of diverse approaches, complicating comparisons with competitors. However, following set standards such as the GRI Standards enhances credibility, even though transparency improvements are possible. With the EU’s CSRD regulation on the horizon, companies are encouraged to improve data accuracy and transparency, which may lead to changes in strategic directions.
This study emphasizes the importance of fair reporting, clear communication, and standardized frameworks to promote sustainability. With the insights provided by the research, this work is aimed at researchers, shareholders, and stakeholders interested in understanding, or implementing sustainability practices within the fashion industry

Cultural belonging affects everyone on a daily basis, as everyone is surrounded by formal and informal groups, of which one is a member. Belonging is one of the functions of culture. Nowadays, belonging is also addressed in social media advertising. This type of advertising via social networks is becoming increasingly important, due to people’s growing use and habits. In this thesis, the importance of sense of belonging in social media advertising is analysed. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with football fans and this data was then analysed and interpreted. Over the years, football itself has become a kind of culture and a very emotional sport, which is why this research was carried out using football as an example. The findings on the factors of the importance of belonging, which plays a not insignificant role in social media advertising, are based on this
Machine Learning Models with Fault Tree Analysis for Explainable Failure Detection in Cloud Computing
Cloud computing infrastructures availability rely on many components, like software, hardware, cloud man- agement system (CMS), security, environmental, and human operation, etc. If something goes wrong the root cause analysis (RCA) is often complex. This paper explores the integration of Machine Learning (ML) with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to enhance explainable failure detection in cloud computing systems. We introduce a framework employing ML for FT selection and generation, and for predicting Basic Events (BEs) to enhance the explainability of failure analysis. Our experimental validation focuses on predicting BEs and using these predictions to calculate the Top Event (TE) probability. The results demonstrate improved diagnostic accuracy and reliability, highlighting the potential of combining ML predictions with traditional FTA to identify root causes of failures in cloud computing environments and make the failure diagnostic more explainable
