    Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 –An Awareness Call to Prospective Teachers

    Education has become the right of every child so as to live with dignity and harmony. Family and Classroom are the two major zones determine mental health status of the children. Facilitating a holistic and healthy environment prevents them from delinquency. Besides academics, teachers must be equipped with 360-degree potentialities to face classroom challenges regarding health, social, and legal aspects while handling disruptive students. Understanding juvenile justice law ensures better student handling and guarantees care and protection. This study is a call for prospective teachers to understand the basic crux of the JJ Act, 2015, with relevance to Care and Protection of Children in Tamil Nadu. By executing the convergent mixed method design, desk research (Qualitative phase) was employed to examine the coverage of JJ Act 2015 in the coursework of the prospective Teachers. Simultaneously, simple random sampling technique was adopted to collect data from 340 prospective teachers (Quantitative phase). The level of awareness was assessed through a standardized checklist.  Besides, hypotheses were framed to test the significant role of certain demographic variables. The contradictory findings extend its recommendations to the academic boards to include JJ act, 2015 in the coursework of the prospective teachers. Furthermore, suggestions were framed with an intention to create more awareness and necessary actions to prevent classroom delinquency

    Mental Health Issues in Chinese College Students as Former Left-Behind Children: A Literature Review

    The issue of left-behind children in China has been a consequence of its accelerated economic development in the past few decades. While there is a large body of literature on the physical and mental health states of this group, research on the impact of their early left-behind life on their future development, particularly on their future mental well-being, has been inadequate. This article is a literature review based on 40 prior studies of the mental health states of college students as former left-behind children in China. It encapsulates research topics, methodologies, and tools of these studies and draws the conclusion that these college students’ past experiences as left-behind children have long-term impacts, primarily unfavorable ones, on their mental well-being. Also, the study summarizes the factors that possibly affect mental health in this group and proposes certain intervention suggestions

Utilizing renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, to electrolyze water into its fundamental components—hydrogen and oxygen—ensures that no detrimental greenhouse gases are emitted into the atmosphere during the process. Hydrogen has been widely recognized as a pure energy source owing to its high energy density and its capacity to generate electricity via fuel cells without emitting carbon emissions. The expansion of the hydrogen economy has the potential to substantially diminish our dependence on fossil fuels and decrease the overall carbon footprint across multiple sectors, including transportation and manufacturing. The fundamental mechanisms underlying pulmonary hypertension are complex and encompass a range of factors, including vasoconstriction, vascular remodeling, inflammation, and endothelial dysfunction. Vasoconstriction transpires when the smooth muscle cells within the pulmonary arteries undergo abnormal contraction, resulting in the constriction of the blood vessels and a subsequent limitation of blood flow. Vascular remodeling pertains to the structural alterations occurring within the vessel walls, encompassing thickening and stiffening, which may subsequently lead to increased pressure levels. Inflammation serves a pivotal function in initiating immune responses that can result in the deterioration of arterial walls. Endothelial dysfunction refers to the compromised functionality of the endothelium that lines the blood vessels, which adversely impacts their capacity to modulate blood flow and pressure.     Nowadays educational equity constitutes a fundamental component of social fairness, and technology is deemed a vital means for mitigating educational inequalities. This article is a survey of China’s experiments in harnessing modern technologies to promote equity in education. This study, after giving a summary of common conceptions of educational equity in researchers, focuses on reviewing China’s endeavors to leverage technology to close disparities in education, including introducing high-quality educational resources into underdeveloped regions through information technology; developing distance education models; providing customized teacher training and specialized vocational education; and using smart teaching platforms to supply personalized learning opportunities to underprivileged groups. Also discussed are the challenges of the application of educational technology, such as inadequate digital competence in teachers and students, widening digital divides, quality gaps in educational resources, and ethical issues in technology use. The article concludes with moves proposed for addressing these issues

    In the educational world, the pursuit of innovations and transformation is ongoing to adapt education to ever-evolving societal needs and technological advances. Artificial intelligence (AI), a technology heavily adopted in many sectors, has been treated as a significant instrument for driving educational reform. AI can be applied to multiple areas in education, including personalized learning, intelligent tutoring, digital educational management, and virtual learning spaces. For example, adaptive learning systems, such as DreamBox Learning, can recommend personalized learning paths based on the student’s performance and progress, resulting in enhanced learning outcomes (Huang et al., 2021). Intelligent tools, powered by machine learning and deep learning algorithms, which have the capacity to analyze students’ learning behavior and performance data, can assist the teacher in predicting learning needs of their students and optimizing instructional content accordingly, thereby improving their teaching efficiency (Chen et al., 2020). AI technologies like facial recognition can be used in school administration, such as campus security monitoring and library management (Huang et al., 2021). Additionally, virtual reality and augmented reality technologies can be applied to create virtual classrooms and laboratories to provide immersive learning experiences, facilitating students’ understanding and mastery of complex concepts. Applications of AI technologies like these have markedly elevated the intelligent levels of schooling, creating new possibilities of education
