Negative Parenting Styles and Preschoolers’ Social Adaptation Difficulties: The Mediating Effect of Parent-Child Conflicts

    Get PDF
Children's social adaptation is a manifestation of the level of their socialization. Positive social adaptation is represented by qualities such as pro-activeness, sensitivity, cooperation, and popularity among peers in children’s social interaction. Social adaptation difficulties include externaliz- ing behavior problems like anger and aggression and internalizing ones such as anxiety and withdrawal. Childhood social adaptation problems can impose negative influences on individuals’ future developmen

Adsorption-Desorption Behavior and Pesticide Bioavailability of Biochar in Soil

    Get PDF
Biochar is a porous carbon-rich substance generated by anoxic pyrolysis of biomass. Biochar has a high adsorption capacity for organic contaminants in water and soil environmental media due to its large specific surface area and surface physical and chemical characteristics. The effects of biochar application on the adsorption-desorption behavior and bioavailability of pesticides in soil are illustrated in this paper; biochar can strongly adsorb pesticides in soil due to its loose and porous properties, large specific surface area and surface energy, and highly aromatic structure. Residual pesticide pollutants are reduced, as is desorption hysteresis, which reduces pesticide desorption. Furthermore, the use of biochar reduced the absorption and efficacy of pesticides in soil. At the same time, it describes the present gaps in research on the influence of biochar on pesticide migration mechanisms and its application in pesticide pollution control, and it identifies the major scientific issues that need to be addressed. Finally, the potential application of biochar in pesticide pollution management is discussed

Parental Phubbing and Young Children’ Problem Behavior: A Moderated Mediation Model

    Get PDF
Child problem behaviors refer to those behaviors that are detrimental to physical and mental health of young children, including externalizing problems such as aggression, violence, disobedience to discipline, etc. and internalizing ones like anxiety, depression, withdrawal and so on. Problem behaviors impede children’s acquisition of knowledge and skills. The parent-child relationship is considered a key factor affecting children’s growth, and the quality of parent-child interaction can predict child problem behaviors. The popularization of smart phones and other electronic devices today has led to a special human behavior dubbed “phubbing”, which is not beneficial to interpersonal communication and interaction. As a result, it is necessary to undertake a deep investigation into the negative impact of parental phubbing on child development

    Artificial Intelligence and Stroke Management

    Get PDF
As a burgeoning technology, artificial intelligence has been utilized in numerous domains, including stroke prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, and has demonstrated considerable promise. The combination of artificial intelligence and big data can be utilized for accurate identification of stroke high-risk groups, automatic etiology classification, and assistance in the formulation of acute stroke and secondary prevention strategies, thereby enhancing the rehabilitation treatment effect for stroke patients. This article discusses the accomplishments made in artificial intelligence research for stroke prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation

Low-Density Resin-Based Ablative Heat Protection Materials

    Get PDF
The severe aerodynamic heating that occurs when a spacecraft reenters the atmosphere takes place. The material used for thermal protection is an essential part of the system used for thermal protection. A number of chemical and physical transformations take place in the ablation heat-resistant material that is based on resin. This material is an organic polymer. We herein briefly review the status quo of low-density resin-based ablative heat protection materials

Parent Time Input in Teenager Education Matters More Than Shadow Education

    Get PDF
In recent years, shadow education—paid private supplementary tutoring providing additional educational assistance for students who are preparing for a variety of examinations—has become one of the fastest growing industries in a number of countries around the world, causing concern among governments and education policymakers, who believe that shadow education exacerbates the financial burden on poor families and exacerbates education inequality (Yu & Zhang, 2022)

Application of Educational Technology in Holistic Module Learning: Citing the Practice of Shandong 271 Education Group as a Case Study

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of the Internet and other related technologies, the educational community has come to accept the use of educational technology in the classroom. Its innovation not only transforms teaching techniques but also expands students’ channels and resources for learning. This article explores the use of educational technology in front-line teaching using 271BAY, an online educational platform developed by Shandong 271 Education Group. The use of 271BAY in the holistic module learning approach is discussed in detai

Transportation Infrastructure and Family Educational Expectations: An Empirical Analysis Based on the China Family Panel Survey

    Get PDF
Based on data from the China Statistical Yearbook and China Family Panel Survey (CFPS), this article investigated the influence of regional transportation infrastructure development on family education expectations. Research results show that there is a significant positive correlation between transportation infrastructure and family educational expectations and that the improvement of transportation infrastructure can enhance the family’s willingness to engage their children in higher education. According to the results of influencing mechanism analysis, transportation infrastructure development affects family education expectations by increasing family income and changing family reproduction concepts and educational ideas. In addition,  the impact of transportation infrastructure construction on family education expectations is heterogeneous: the positive correlation between them is particularly significant in rural areas with less developed transportation infrastructure, in areas with low average education level of parents and slow information communication, and among families of lower social classes; however, the relationship between the two variables is not prominent in urban areas, in areas where information communication is fast and parents have a higher average education level, and among families with higher social classes. These research findings offer the nation and government new implications for better promoting poverty alleviation through education and rural revitalization in underdeveloped areas

Probiotics and Gut Microbiota: The Underlying Helpers of Health

    Get PDF
As per the amount of time that bacteria spend living and growing in the intestine, we can divide them into two categories: long-term (also called permanent residents) and transitory (also called alien). According to the findings of previous research, a dysbiosis of the microbiota in the gut may be linked to a wide variety of human illnesses. Microorganisms that are considered to be living, such as bacteria, are known as probiotics. When given to a host in adequate quantities, probiotics can be beneficial. There is compelling evidence that probiotics have a positive impact on health, but this area of research has to be expanded

Who Teaches in Rural Schools in Underdeveloped Areas? An Investigation Based on a Survey of 5,554 Teachers from 117 Towns in H Province in Wuling Mountains Zone, China

    Get PDF
Teacher shortage is a major hindrance to China’s rural education growth in underdeveloped areas, as well as one of the main causes of educational injustice. We conducted a survey of 5,554 teachers from 117 towns in H province in the Wuling Mountains Zone to investigate the issue of rural school teacher supply. From geographical, emotional, and institutional perspectives, we used a polynomial logit model to examine the validity of the “hometown effects” hypothesis. The findings showed that hometown effects exist in China in all three dimensions. The institutional hometown effects are the most pronounced; when compared to open recruitment, teachers sourced through teacher supply augmentation programs (such as the Secondary Normal Graduates Program, Special Position Program, and Targeted Position Program) are more likely to teach in rural schools, particularly more disadvantaged village primary schools or teaching sites. China’s policy of increasing teacher supply has had a considerable positive influence on rural school staffing. Students from rural areas make better teacher candidates; feelings for hometowns should be encouraged among normal school or university students in pre-service education; and the implementation of teacher support policies should be emphasized to retain rural teachers and improve their teaching quality
