    Get PDF
Addiction study has switched to the realm of modern neuroscience, with the most recent and cutting-edge studies focusing on the behaviors that contribute to addiction. Addiction memory is a series of specific plastic changes at the synaptic level caused by long-term drug stimulation through gene transcription and expression. Based on clinical observations, addictive memory is viewed as a dysregulation of independent acquisition associated with the integration of choice lines in the “feedback loop” and “comparative system” of the hippocampus during neural information processing. Two meanings of the addition memory as (i) memory unrelated to the loss of drug control and (ii) drug-specific memory of the addicted drugs

    Get PDF
As the information age advances, traditional classroom methods are no longer sufficient for meeting modern educational needs. Smart classroom technology has emerged as a new teaching method, particularly in high school geography, offering various advantages such as displaying content in a comprehensive way and promoting real-time interaction. However, some issues persist in the practical application of this technology. This paper analyzes the benefits and drawbacks of using smart classroom technology in geography teaching, and provides suggestions for improving its effectiveness. Advantages of smart classroom technology in geography teaching include the ability to highlight teaching focuses and overcome difficulties, increase students’ interest in learning, and improve classroom knowledge and teaching efficiency. On the other hand, drawbacks include the lack of expertise among geography teachers in utilizing smart classroom technology, reduced independence of students’ thinking due to the intelligent classroom teaching mode, over-reliance on technology which affects teaching outcomes, and information overload that can hamper students’ acceptance. To address these advantages and disadvantages, this paper offers several recommendations: improving the efficiency of resource collection and production, selecting the appropriate smart classroom mode according to actual teaching needs, striking a balance between intelligent and traditional teaching methods, and providing geography teachers with training to enhance their information technology skills

    Get PDF
Humanistic education (also known as person-centered education) is a learning theory based on humanistic psychology, aiming to promote the development of the learner as a “whole person.” Various aspects such as the intellect, social and emotional skills, and artistic and practical capabilities of the student are all important considerations in the humanistic approach to education (Zhang, 2010). It places a great deal of emphasis on students’ choice and control over the course of their education. Students are encouraged to make choices that range from day-to-day activities to goal settings. According to Rogers, one of the founders of humanistic psychology as well as the humanistic learning theory, the primary purpose of education is to train the student to want and know how to learn, and the ability to learn should relate to the fulfillment of other needs (as cited in Xie, 2016)
