Effect of Strategic Attributes on Organizational Performance of Shwe Set Kyar Ko Tint Wai Company Limited (Van Lal Ruat Pwee Yee, 2025)
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of strategic attributes on organizational performance and to analyze the mediating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship between strategic attributes and organizational performance towards employee of Shwe Set Kyar Ko Tint Wai Company Limited. This study uses both primary and secondary data. The sample size is 152 out of 250 employee Shwe Set Kyar Ko Tint Wai Company Limited in the Yangon Region in 2024 using the Raosoft sample size calculator. The simple random sampling method is applied to select the respondents. The data collection method is a questionnaire survey method which a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale is used to collect data. The secondary data is collected from related textbooks, previous studies, academic journals, articles, and other reliable online information sources. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used. According to regression result, organizational culture and organizational internal market orientation have significant and positive effect on organizational performance, while strategic orientation does not show a significant influence. There is the mediating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship between organizational culture and organizational performance. Moreover, there is also the mediating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship between organizational internal market orientation and organizational performance. Based on these findings, Shwe Set Kyar Ko Tint Wai Company Limited should continue strengthening its cultural and internal market practices to increase greater organizational commitment, which in turn enhances overall organizational performances
Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction and Company Performance at ACE Data Systems Ltd (Than Min Aung, 2025)
Get PDFThe objectives of the study are to analyze the factors affecting on job satisfaction at ACE Data Systems Ltd. and to analyze the mediating effect of knowledge sharing on the relationship between job satisfaction and company performance at ACE Data Systems Ltd. The sample size for the study is 141 employees, using the Raosoft sample size calculator. The data is collected online survey method through structured questionnaires. Simple random sampling method is employed to select respondents. The data analysis includes descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis to assess the relationships between variables. The regression analysis reveals that organizational support and procedural justice have significant and positive effect on job satisfaction of employees. Furthermore, it is found that there is the mediating effect of knowledge sharing on the relationship between job satisfaction and company performance of ACE Data Systems Ltd. These findings show that ACE Data Systems Ltd. should improve employee support through training and growth opportunities, ensure fair and transparent decision-making, and encourage knowledge sharing by fostering trust and recognizing collaborative efforts
Fishery Industry and Marine Pollution in Coastal Regions: A Study of Small-Scale Fisheries in Myanmar ( Aye Myat Thu, 2025)
Get PDFThis study examines the small-scale fishery and marine pollution in Myanmar, residing in Myeik Archipelago, southern coastal region of Myanmar where fishing forms the economic and nutritional backbone of local communities. This study aims to identify the primary causes of marine pollution and its impact on the fishery industry,
examine the current situation of the small-scale fishery industry, and assess operational challenges and perceptions on pollution control activities in the Myeik Archipelago.Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data collected. A total of 90 respondents, comprising 80 small-scale fishermen and 10 local stakeholders. Participants were selected using a simple random sampling method. This study reveal that small-scale fishery in the Myeik Archipelago are highly dependent on fishing for their livelihoods and are increasingly affected by marine pollution, which has led to declining fish stocks, increased operational costs, and financial instability. Despite limited awareness of formal government interventions, there is strong community willingness to participate in training, pollution reduction activities, and collaborative conservation efforts.Respondents expressed optimism about the future of fisheries and a high interest in sustainable practices, though gaps in institutional support, enforcement, and communication remain. Perspectives from government and community leaders further highlighted the need for coordinated, inclusive, and locally adapted marine governance to ensure long-term sustainability and esilience of coastal livelihood
An Analysis of the Influenced Factors on Public Service Motivation in General Administration Department Staff ( Baby Nang Seng, 2025)
Get PDFThis study investigates factors influencing public service motivation among non-gazette staff in the General Administration Department (GAD) in Taunggyi, Myanmar. The objectives of the study are to analyze the level of motivation and to study the influenced factors on motivation of GAD staff in Myanmar. Employing both primary and secondary data sources, the research uses random sampling and structured questionnaires, with statistical analysis conducted via descriptive and regression techniques. The study reveals a predominantly positive employee outlook on job features, with a strong alignment to core public service principles including empathy, equity, and integrity. Variations in responses concerning personal risk and sacrifice highlight the influence of institutional constraints and practical considerations. These insights bear significant relevance to organizational management and policy formulation, underscoring the importance of cultivating civic- oriented workplace cultures. While employees express confidence in their roles, areas such as flexibility and role clarity warrant further development. The findings affirm that thoughtful job structuring and principled leadership enhance staff motivation, organizational cohesion, and service effectiveness across the public sector
The Impact of Minimum Wage Policy on Employment in Mekong Region ( Ei Theint Theint Kyaw, 2025)
Get PDFThis study analyzes the impact of minimum wage policies on employment outcomes in selected Mekong Region countries; Myanmar, Cambodia, and Thailand over the period from 2010 to 2024. The findings reveal that minimum wage changes have significant short-run effects across all employment categories, with immediate labor market adjustments particularly pronounced among youth, women, and prime-age workers. In the long run, however, positive and significant employment effects are mainly observed among prime-age employments (25-54), older employments (55-64), and female employments, while total and youth (15-24) employments show no significant long-term response. These results provide the importance of minimum wage policies as tools for promoting inclusive employment growth, particularly for vulnerable demographic groups in the Mekong Region

and challenges of social media use.According to this study, university students mainly
explore social media on their mobile devices.Social media has advantages and
disadvantages, even though it is utilized for both social and academic purposes. The
study emphasizes the necessity of self-control, particularly in time management, and
the need for improved digital skills.Students have to apply these approaches into
practice in order to students' mental and emotional well-being.Students are strongly
encouraged to integrate these practices into daily activities to maximize the benefits of
social media usage
Effect of Post Harvest Handling Practices of Inland Fisheries (Case Study: Ngaputaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region) (Hsu Mon Aung, 2025)
Get PDFEffective post-harvest handling plays a crucial role in small-scale fisheries by
preserving the freshness of fish, enhancing food safety, and reducing post-harvest
spoilage. These practices directly affect the economic stability of fishing households by
minimizing losses and sustaining income. The main objective of the study is to evaluate
the impact on current post-harvest handling practices on fish loss and the income of
fishers. A mixed-method approach was adopted, by using structured and semi-
structured questionnaires developed in line with the FAO’s Post-Harvest Fish Loss
Assessment framework (QLAM). The results show that frequent losses are caused by
not having enough cold storage, not getting enough ice, not handling things in a clean
way, and not having insulated transport. More than half of the respondents who
answered that they lost 10–30% of their catch because of physical damage and spoilage.
These influences selling prices and household profits go down. The study finding
suggests raising fishers’ awareness of proper handling, investing in better storage, and
ensuring affordable ice access which maintain fish quality, enhancement market value,
and secure livelihoods
A Study on the Contributing Factors Among Volunteers (Case Study – Chaungzon Township, Mon State) (Nay Nyi Phyo Aung, 2025)
Get PDFThis study explores the contributing factors that motivate volunteer engagement
and their role, focusing on Chaungzon Township, Mon State. The main objectives are
(i) to examine the key motivational factors driving individuals to volunteer, and (ii) to
investigate the respondents’ perception on the challenges, possible ways to overcome
these challenges through volunteering activities. The research was conducted using a
descriptive methods approach, collecting data from 129 volunteers across 43 village
tracts. The study applied the Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI), covering six key
motivation areas: values, understanding, protective, social, career, and enhancement.
All six factors showed high reliability, indicating that the measurement model is valid
and appropriate. Results show that most volunteers are young and educated, primarily
motivated by values such as helping others and serving the community. Other strong
motivations include personal development, social connection, and future career
opportunities. Despite challenges identified through qualitative analysis such as limited
resources, lack of trust, and low community participation, volunteers have
demonstrated resilience by building trust, working with local leaders, and
collaboratively planning activities. The study suggests the strengthening volunteer
engagement through targeted training, peer learning platforms, and recognition systems
to sustain their long-term contributions

A Study on the Causes of Being Street Children in Yangon (A Case Study of Kyauktadar District) (Ei Ei Soe, 2025)
Get PDFThis study explores the causes of being street children in Kyauktadar District,
Yangon. The objectives of the study are to explore the main causes of being street
children and the key issues faced by street children. The research utilizes a quantitative
approach with structured questionnaires administered to 150 street children and 20
guardians, employing a snowball sampling technique. Key findings highlight that
poverty and family instability are the primary drivers of being street children, while
limited access to education and health care. The study highlights for focusing on the
main causes of vulnerability, such as family support, poverty reduction, and inclusive
education and suggests that both government and non-government organizations should
work together to better support street-connected children
