A Study on Health, Safety and Environmental Management Practices in Myanmmar's Electricity Sector (Case Study : Thaton Combined Cycle Power Plant) (Soe Moe Aung, 2025)
This study aims to evaluate the current Health, Safety, and Environmental
(HSE) management practices at the Thaton Combined Cycle Power Plant and to
analyze employee perceptions, attitudes, and commitment toward these practices. A
total of 120 permanent employees, representing 75% of the targeted 160 workforce
from various technical and managerial departments, participated in the survey.
Descriptive statistics and analytical techniques were employed to interpret the
responses. The findings reveal that employees have an agreement and positive
perception of the HSE management system, particularly in areas such as task risk
assessment, emergency preparedness, standard operating procedures, and training
effectiveness. Employees demonstrated high levels of commitment, particularly in
using personal protective equipment and participating in safety protocols. While
overall attitudes and engagement were positive, areas such as workplace hygiene,
chemical safety documentation, and communication regarding the mandatory nature of
training were identified for further improvement. The study highlights the success of
the current HSE practices in fostering a strong safety culture and provides direction for
ongoing enhancement
A Study on Taxpayers' Awareness, Knowledge and Attitude on Capital Gains Tax in Myanmar ( Case Study : Medium Taxpayers' Office-2) ( Lwin Lwin Aye, 2025)
Taxation is crucial for Myanmar's government. It provides essential revenue,
stabilizes the economy, and funds public investments. Capital Gains Tax generates
revenue which is important to the government of Myanmar. The study is to examine
the Capital Gains Tax awareness, knowledge and attitude of taxpayers in Myanmar. A
descriptive method is used in this study. The primary data is gathered from taxpayers
of Medium Taxpayers’ Office (2). A total of 300 taxpayers from medium taxpayer
companies participated in the study. It is observed that the taxpayers have good
awareness, knowledge and attitude towards capital gains tax in Myanmar, and it has
reached a satisfactory level. The results also show that increasing tax awareness,
knowledge and fostering positive attitudes through tax education programs, along
with streamline tax laws and online tax system and promoting transparency in how
tax income is used, can significantly boost compliance rates
Factors Affecting User Satisfaction Towards MTB Pay (Hnin Ei Kyaw, 2025)
The main objectives of the study are to analyze the factors affecting user
satisfaction and to analyze the effect of on user satisfaction user loyalty of MTB Pay.
Quantitative research method is used. 398 customers are selected as sample size by
simple random sampling. A structured questionnaire is used to collect primary data. Data
were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. In this study,
transaction efficiency, customer support, accessibility, security, and reliability are
analyzed as influencing factors. The study finds that all the influencing factors have
significant effect on the user satisfaction. Among them, reliability of MTB Pay is the
most influencing factor on the user satisfaction and customer support is the lowest
significant factor on user satisfaction. It is found that user satisfaction has a significant
effect on user loyalty towards MTB Pay. According to the findings, MTB bank should
pay attention to reliability of MTB Pay. MTB Bank should ensure that MTB Pay operates
at all times by deploying high-availability servers, implementing load balancing, and
maintaining backup systems that can take over instantly in case of technical failures.
MTB Bank should implement clear, visible, and user-friendly reporting mechanisms
within the app
Work Ethics and Employee Job Performance at Glory Farmer Development Bank (G Bank) ( Khin May Aung, 2025)
This study aims to identify the work ethics at G Bank and to analyze the effect
of work ethics on employee job performance at G Bank in Myanmar. A quantitative
research method is employed, involving a sample of 129 employees from G Bank’s
Head Office and branches. The findings reveal that work ethics significantly influence
employee performance, with the regression model explanation. Respect and teamwork
emerged as the most influential positive factors, indicating that employees perform
better when they feel valued and work collaboratively. Self-discipline also showed a
significant positive effect, highlighting the importance of focus and time management.
Responsibility demonstrated a significant negative impact, suggesting employees may
feel overwhelmed or burdened by their assigned tasks. Integrity and equality were not
statistically significant, possibly because these values are already well-established
within the organization. The study recommends that G Bank continue fostering a
respectful, team-oriented environment, support self-discipline through training, and
carefully review task distribution to prevent employee stress
Factors Affecting Loan Assessment Provided by Myanmar Credit Bureau (MMCB) Services (Myat Noe Thazin Naing, 2025)
This study investigates the factors affecting loan assessment provided by
Myanmar Credit Bureau (MMCB) services in Myanmar commercial banking sector.
The study employs a quantitative research method using both primary and secondary
data sources. A total of 119 credit officers and loan management staff from 28 MMCB
member banks were selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected via
a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. The findings reveal that credit
information sharing, consumer credit report, commercial credit report, and credit
scoring are perceived positively in supporting the loan assessment process. Among
them, credit scoring is considered the most effective followed by consumer credit
reports. Correlation analysis shows statistically significant relationships between all
MMCB services and loan assessment, while regression analysis confirms that each
service has a significant positive effect. The study suggests that banks should promote
borrower awareness of the importance of credit history, encouraging responsible
borrowing behavior and enhancing financial transparency. Moreover, the study
recommends strengthening the use of MMCB services, particularly credit scoring and
report timeliness to improve the accuracy, efficiency and consistency of loan
assessment practices
Dynamic Capabilities and Organizational Performance at KBZ Bank (Myo Myo Win, 2025)
The purposes of this study are to investigate the consequences of dynamic
capabilities, specifically sensing, seizing, and reconfiguring capabilities, at KBZ Bank,
and to analyze how these capabilities affect its overall performance in a complex and
uncertain environment. The study used both quantitative and qualitative data
collection. Quantitative data were gathered through survey questionnaires using a
simple random sampling method, targeting 220 managerial-level employees from both
branches and head office departments in Yangon. In addition, qualitative data were
obtained through in-depth interviews to gain deeper insights. Descriptive statistics and
multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. It was found that KBZ Bank
demonstrates a high level of dynamic capabilities, with reconfiguring capabilities rated
the strongest, followed by seizing and sensing. Correlation and regression analyses
confirm that all three capabilities have a statistically significant and positive effect on
organizational performance. Among them, reconfiguring capabilities had the strongest
influence, indicating KBZ Bank's strength in restructuring internal processes and
resources adaptably. Seizing capabilities also showed a positive impact, reflecting the
bank’s ability to respond to opportunities and allocate resources effectively. However,
sensing capabilities were relatively less developed. To enhance performance, KBZ
Bank should focus on strengthening its sensing capabilities by establishing dedicated
teams or digital systems to monitor and observe external trends and risks. Moreover,
the banks should also consider how to provide effective training on market sensing, like
customer behavior, competitive actions, or economic shifts are also recommended to
support proactive decisions and maintain long-term resilience
Effect of Protean Career Attitude on Job Efficacy at Onodera User Run Myanmar Co., Ltd (Hlaing Kyi Pyar Khant, 2025)
The objectives of the study are to analyze the mediating effect of job crafting on the relationship between protean career attitude and career satisfaction, to analyze the mediating effect of job crafting on the relationship between protean career attitude and career commitment, to analyze the effect of career satisfaction and career commitment on psychological well-being, and to analyze the effect of psychological well-being on job efficacy. According to Raosoft sample size calculator, the 214 participants are selected from a participant of 480 using a simple random sampling method at Onodera User Run Company. The online survey method is used in this study. The primary data are collected through structured questionnaires utilizing a five-point Likert scale, while the secondary data is gathered from various sources, including textbooks, previous research papers, internet sources, and other information from Onodera User Run Myanmar Co., Ltd. This study employs descriptive statistics and regression analysis to analyze the data. The results indicate that there is the mediating effect of job crafting on the relationship between protean career attitude and career satisfaction, as well as on the relationship between protean career attitude and career commitment. Career satisfaction and career commitment have positive significant effect on psychological well-being. Furthermore, psychological well-being has positive significant effect on job efficacy. The findings indicate that Onodera User Run Myanmar Co., Ltd. should enhance and continuously cultivate a more effective protean career attitude, as well as support job crafting to enhance both career satisfaction and commitment. Effect of Healthcare Service Quality on Patient Satisfaction and Patient Loyalty towards RWS Specialist and Diagnostic Center (Kyawt K Khine, 2025)
The main objectives of this study are to analyze the effect of healthcare service quality on patient satisfaction and to examine the mediating effect of patient trust on the relationship between patient satisfaction and patient loyalty towards RWS Specialist and Diagnostic Center. Both primary and secondary data are used in this study. The total number of patients in 2024 is 150.The sample size of 109 is calculated by Raosoft sample size formula. A simple random sampling method is utilized to select the respondents. For primary data collection, a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale is applied using the personal interview method. Secondary data are gathered from previous research papers, textbooks, website, and other related information resources from RWS Specialist and Diagnostic Center. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis are applied to analyze the data. Regression result indicates that the administrative practices, medical care procedures, safety, infrastructure, and personal quality have positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. It is also found that there is a mediating effect of patient trust on the relationship between patient satisfaction and patient loyalty. To improve patient satisfaction and loyalty, RWS Specialist and Diagnostic Center should focus on strengthening administrative practices, medical care procedures, safety, infrastructure, and staff professionalism. Although hospital image, trustworthiness and social responsibility were not statistically significant, they still contribute to overall perception and trust. Building patient trust through consistent, transparent, and empathetic care will be key to sustaining long-term loyalty
Effect of Social Compliance on Employee Productivity and Employee Performance in Guston Amava Limited (Wint Wint Kyaw, 2025)
This study aims to examine the effect of social compliance on employee
productivity, to analyze the mediating effect of employee motivation on the
relationship between social compliance and employee productivity, and to analyze
the effect of employee productivity on employee performance at Guston Amava
Limited. This study uses both primary and secondary data. Primary data are collected
from 282 employees at Guston Amava Limited using a structured questionnaires
survey with a five-point Likert scale. The sample is selected through simple random
sampling from 282 a total workforce of 1,056 employees. Secondary data are
obtained from textbooks, academic journals, and credible online sources. Descriptive
statistics and regression analysis are employed to evaluate the data. The findings
reveal that discrimination, leave and holidays and welfare facilities have significant
positive effect on employee productivity. Moreover, employee motivation mediates
on the relationship between social compliance and employee productivity. Employee
productivity has a significant positive effect on employee performance at Guston
Amava Limited. Based on the findings, Guston Amava should enhance social
compliance practices to increase motivation and boost employee productivity and
employee performance for long-term organizational success
Factors Affecting Customer Satisfaction Towards Credit Card Services at AYA Bank. (Thet Htar Zaw, 2025)
The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting customer satisfaction
and its turn into effect on continuous usage of credit card services at AYA Bank in
Yangon. Specifically, the study aims to examine how perceived service quality, perceived
ease of use, perceived cost, perceived promotion, and corporate reputation influence
customer satisfaction and to analyze which factors most strongly encourage ongoing card
usage. This study adopts a descriptive statistics and quantitative research method. Using a
simple random sampling method, the primary data is collected from 398 AYA Bank
credit card customers. Secondary data were also gathered from academic journals,
previous research, and AYA Bank’s website. The results indicate that all five service
factors have statistically significant effects on customer satisfaction with perceived
promotion and ease of use emerging as the most influential determinants. Furthermore,
the study found that there is a significant effect of customer satisfaction on continuous
usage of credit card services. AYA Bank should enhance perceived cost by offering
additional benefits, annual fee waive for loyal customers, create cost saving features and
flexible repayment options
