Dados de replicação para: Acessibilidade geográfica ao parto em Pernambuco: análise espacial da rede de deslocamento, 2023

    No full text

Kaoru Anti-Censorship Network Protocol (KACP): A Method for Bypassing NSA Network-Level Censorship Using Dynamic IP Relay Systems

    No full text
This paper presents the Kaoru Anti-Censorship Network Protocol (KACP), a method developed to circumvent NSA-imposed network-level censorship through the implementation of a secondary wireless relay system with dynamic IP allocation. The protocol leverages consumer-grade wireless repeater technology to establish an intermediate network layer that provides rotating IP addresses, effectively disrupting NSA persistent connection blocking mechanisms, making it more effective than VPNs and TOR

Inflation Reduction Act's insulin cost cap and health care outcomes among insulin users in Medicare fee-for-service

    No full text
This study evaluates the impact of IRA on health care outcomes in Medicare. We hypothesize that the cap will reduce out-of-pocket costs for insulin, reduce gaps in insulin use, improve glycemic control, and reduce diabetes-related emergency department and hospital admissions among insulin users. The long-term goal is to identify policy solutions to ensure the affordability of insulin for everyone who needs it and thereby reduce disparities in avoidable diabetes-related hospitalizations and mortality. The overall objective of this project is to measure the effect of the Inflation Reduction Act’s cap on insulin out-of-pocket costs on insulin access and health outcomes, including reductions in pre-existing disparities by race/ethnicity and income. The general hypothesis is that the cap improved insulin affordability, reduced gaps in insulin use, and improved health outcomes while reducing disparities

Pilot Study on Sustainable Growth of Plants Using Fermented, Soil-Free Natural Nutrient Solution

    No full text
This pilot study explores the potential of a self-formulated, soil-free, fermented nutrient solution to support the growth and propagation of multiple plant species without use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or artificial hormones. Selected plants- including toothache plant, pineapple, jade, maize, umbrella palm were propagated using different methods such as leaf cutting, stem cutting, crown, saplings and seeds. Growth, root-shoot development, leaf expansion, and flowering were recorded through photographic documentation, creating a visible timeline of development. Comparative controls were maintained in plain water and soil, highlighting difference in root and shoot morphology. Plants grow in solution developed dense, robust root systems and healthy shoots, whereas water-grown controls exhibited elongated, week and thin roots and uneven shoot growth. Seasonal and size-related variations in growth were observed, but overall, the solution supports healthy propagation and flowering. This study serves as a proof of concept for a low-cost, sustainable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plant propagation method and provides preliminary data for further research in sustainable horticulture and plant propagation

Indicator Harmonization in Mobile Data Collection for Humanitarian and Development Monitoring: A Systematic Review of Methods, Governance Approaches, and Reported Outcomes

    No full text
This systematic review synthesizes evidence on methods used to harmonize indicator definitions and variable structures across projects using mobile data collection platforms (ODK, CommCare, KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO, and similar tools) in humanitarian and development contexts. Mobile data collection platforms have become foundational infrastructure for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in humanitarian and development settings. However, the lack of standardized indicator definitions and variable naming conventions across projects creates significant barriers to cross-project aggregation and alignment with global reporting frameworks such as the SDGs and humanitarian cluster standards. This review addresses a critical gap by systematically examining: (1) technical approaches to harmonization including naming conventions, data dictionaries, canonical variables, and metadata schemas; (2) governance mechanisms such as centralized standards, approval workflows, and version control; (3) platform-specific influences on harmonization strategies; (4) reported outcomes related to data quality, aggregation, and analytics readiness; and (5) challenges and limitations encountered in harmonization efforts. The review includes both peer-reviewed literature and grey literature (technical reports, implementation guides, NGO guidance documents) given the practice-driven nature of this topic. Findings will inform practitioners implementing data standardization initiatives and identify research gaps for the academic community
