The Rhapsody of the Drinker|

Psychosocial Intervention for Libyan Mass Grave Workers- A pilot randomised controlled trial of a co-designed Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy intervention compared to Problem Management+ for improving psychological wellbeing among Libyan Mass Graves Workers.
Mass graves workers in Libya are routinely exposed to traumatic material, prolonged occupational stress, and morally challenging situations inherent to recovery, identification, and burial work. Previous research conducted with Libyan mass graves workers has demonstrated elevated exposure to trauma and moral injury, alongside disruptions in coping strategies, resilience, and overall wellbeing. Qualitative findings further indicate experiences of emotional numbing, social withdrawal, and perceived isolation from peers, with avoidance of discussing emotional difficulties or work-related struggles within the workplace. In response to these challenges, there is a critical need for structured, culturally appropriate psychological interventions that normalise help-seeking, foster social connectedness, and strengthen adaptive coping, resilience, and emotional regulation. This trial builds directly on earlier mixed-methods research and a co-design process involving mass graves workers and mental health professionals from the MENA region. The primary objective of the trial is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of a co-designed Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)–based group intervention and the World Health Organization’s Group Problem Management Plus (PM+) program in improving wellbeing among Libyan mass graves workers. Secondary objectives include examining changes in social connectedness, coping strategies, resilience, and emotional regulation, with particular attention to reducing emotional numbing and avoidance. Using a stratified randomised controlled design, participants will be allocated by department to ensure representation across occupational roles and equally assigned to one of the two intervention arms. Findings from this trial are expected to inform the development of clear, context-specific recommendations for future psychological practice and workforce support initiatives targeting mass graves workers as full-time occupational groups in Libya
Developing a Multidimensional Taxonomy for Physical Activity Behavior Metrics: A Scoping Review
This scoping review aims to develop a standardized taxonomy for physical activity behavior metrics derived from wearable sensor data. It identifies and categorizes existing metrics according to their computational and conceptual characteristics, aiming to improve consistency and transparency in physical activity behavior research
COA Instrument Review for Post-COVID-19 Vaccination Syndrome Protocol Support – Targeted Review
Following vaccination for COVID-19, a minority of patients have been suspected to develop a variety of chronic sequelae in a condition known as Post-COVID-19 Vaccination Syndrome (PCVS). This review seeks to answer the following research questions:
Which clinical outcome assessment instruments are suitable for capturing PCVS symptoms (including instruments developed for long COVID)?
What key psychometric properties (e.g. content validity, reliability, construct validity, and responsiveness) are captured by these instruments
