E-HARA - Erpenbach Human-AI Reasoning Architecture
No full textE-HARA proposes a structural hypothesis architecture for analysing how human and AI reasoning processes may coexist within a shared cognitive environment. The framework distinguishes between the Human Cognitive Frame, the AI Reasoning Frame, a Shared Reasoning Space, and diverse integration patterns. It introduces hypotheses concerning representational depth, emergence, boundary dynamics, and reasoning modes. E-HARA remains non-final and provides conceptual foundations for interdisciplinary research on hybrid reasoning systems.

Rating Popular Anime and Movie Characters
No full textIn a previous study we conducted, we asked American participants to rate the extent to which they identify with a hero character from popular American tv shows and movies. We found that American participants identified more with hero characters than control characters (Boals et al., 2024). We tried to replicate this finding using anime characters. Much to our surprise, we did not replicate this finding. We speculate the reason for our failure to replicate is that in the first study, we had a cultural match (i.e. American participants rating American characters). In our follow-up study, we had a cultural mismatch (i.e. American participants rating Japanese characters). In the current study, we will experimentally test our hunch by asking both American and Japanese participants to rate both American and Japanese characters.
The purpose of this study is to examine potential cultural differences in the extent to which American and Japanese individuals identify with American and Japanese characters from popular tv shows and movies.

AMBIENTE ACADÊMICO MAIS INCLUSIVO NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR PARA ALUNOS COM DEFICIÊNCIA: UMA REVISÃO DE ESCOPO
No full textIntrodução: A inclusão de pessoas com deficiência tem se tornado um tema cada vez mais relevante no campo das políticas públicas, especialmente em instituições de educação superior (IES). Diante disso, propõe-se: Quais as estratégias estruturais, atitudinais e didáticas que visam favorecer um ambiente acadêmico mais inclusivo para o aluno com deficiência na Educação Superior descritas na literatura? Objetivo: Mapear as estratégias estruturais, atitudinais e didáticas que visam favorecer um ambiente acadêmico mais inclusivo para o aluno com deficiência na Educação Superior descritas na literatura. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão de Escopo que utilizou-se da estratégia Population, Concept e Context (PCC), sendo: População = Alunos com deficiência; Conceito = Estratégias estruturais, atitudinais e didáticas; e Contexto = Educação Superior, aplicada às bases de dados: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO); SCOPUS; e Portal de Periódicos da CAPES, finalizando por meio de triagem na ferramenta Rayyan, em modo duplo-cego para eliminar o vieses de expectativa e garantir resultados mais objetivos e confiáveis. Resultados: A partir dos 1.623 registros identificados, 42 foram incluídos na revisão, abordando individualmente, ou em grupo, cada uma das 3 estratégias apresentadas. Dessa forma, observou-se a existência de um salto que se destaca, ocorrido no ano de 2016, seguido por uma média de 3,3 publicações nos anos subsequentes até 2025. Além de uma concordância com o Censo 2022 que destaca a deficiência visual como a que mais atinge a população brasileira e analisou-se de forma consecutiva nos artigos que é também uma das deficiências que mais se busca por estratégias que superem as suas dificuldades. Discussão: A análise evidencia que a inclusão de pessoas com deficiência no ensino superior depende da articulação integrada entre estratégias estruturais, atitudinais e didáticas, cuja efetividade é comprometida quando implementadas de forma isolada. Observa-se uma desconexão recorrente entre as diretrizes institucionais e sua operacionalização, o que resulta em práticas fragmentadas, não sistemáticas e demasiadamente dependentes da iniciativa individual, dificultando o estabelecimento de uma inclusão eficaz e equitativa. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a inclusão de pessoas com deficiência nas universidades requer uma transformação institucional sistêmica, com a articulação integrada de estratégias estruturais, atitudinais e didáticas, de modo a superar práticas fragmentadas e pontuais
