Exploring Patients' Perceptions and Anticipated Concerns Regarding Bariatric Surgery
By exploring patients' perceptions, we aim to identify the factors that influence their decision-making process, their expectations, and any specific concerns they may have prior to undergoing bariatric laparoscopic surgery. This information can help healthcare providers and surgeons improve preoperative counseling, address patient fears or anxieties, and provide targeted education to enhance patients' understanding of the procedure. Healthcare professionals can tailor their communication and support strategies, ensuring that patients have realistic expectations and feel more confident in their decision to undergo bariatric laparoscopic surgery

Replication Data for: Fairness and the Development of Inequality Acceptance
Inequality in payments may be seen as inherently unfair, or as appropriate when it reflects differential achievement. Using an economic exchange game, Almås et al. (p. 1176) mapped how judgments changed from 5th-grade students to 13th graders: Fifth graders expressed a preference for equal division of rewards, whereas the 13th graders tolerated unequal outcomes, as long as they had been provided with evidence of unequal inputs. That is, the younger children were strict egalitarians, but the older ones—perhaps as a consequence of exposure to a variety of achievement-based social activities, such as sports—tended toward meritocracy.

RNAseq raw data is provided as gzip compressions of FASTQ files. File names begin with [S-] for sample number, followed by [sample type], followed by [number_] to indicate biological replicate, followed by either [R1-] or [R2-] to indicate directionality of paired-end read.
Salmon's quasi-aligned transcript counts are provided in raw TPM format and, after normalization, in variance-stabilizing transformation (vst) format
