First observations of the Kr multi-monochromatic X-ray imager in OMEGA implosion experiments
This paper presents initial findings from the recently deployed Kr Multi-Monochromatic X-ray Imager (MMI) at the Omega facility. The experiment focuses on exploring implosion dynamics in exploding pusher capsules at three distinct initial gas fill densities. Utilizing time-gated and spatially integrated measurements, core size, electron temperature (Te), and electron densities (ne) are derived through the analysis of the spectral region encompassing the Kr Heα and its satellite lines. A comprehensive spectral database, incorporating atomic kinetics, radiation transport, and Stark broadening, has been developed for rigorous data analysis. These measurements underscore the utility of the new Kr MMI instrument, enabling the diagnosis of plasma conditions at Te > 2000 eV, thereby extending the capabilities beyond the prior Ar MMI design

This is the replication package for "Changing Dietary Habits Early in Life: A Field Experiment with Low-Income Families," accepted in 2024 by the Journal of Political Economy Microeconomics
Narratives and Opinion Polarization: A Survey Experiment
We collected data to explore the impact of narratives on beliefs and policy opinions through a survey experiment that exposed US subjects to two media-based explanations for COVID-19. The "nature narrative" discusses the natural causes of the virus, while the "lab narrative" attributes it to human error and scientific misconduct

Replication Data for: Can foreign aid reduce the desire to emigrate? Evidence from a Randomized Controlled Trial
Parallel to traditional immigration control policies, states send substantial amounts of foreign aid to address the root causes of migration. Using a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), we evaluate a representative type of ``root causes'' aid (RCA) project in Africa, implemented by the UN's International Organization for Migration (IOM). We find the project reduced aspirations to migrate and slowed preparations for the journey. However, effects wane six months after the project ended. Multiple mediation analysis shows `instrumental place attachment' -- or the ability to pursue important goals in one's place of residence compared to other destinations -- is the main driver. That a small RCA project increased instrumental place attachment, albeit briefly, is significant given global inequalities. We explore this finding by conducting interviews with IO- and NGO practitioners to understand how development organizations affect instrumental place attachment; and with youth to understand how interventions (un)successfully moderate the choice to stay or migrate

Selected personality data from the SAPA-Project: 07Feb2017 to 31Dec2017
Like prior data posted in this repository, these data were collected as part of an initiative to evaluate the structure of personality, specific in the broad domain of temperament. In the context of modern personality theory, temperament is typically construed in terms of the Big Five (Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Openness, and Extraversion) though these data cover a wide range of additional constructs, including many that are much more narrow and specific. Data were collected from more than 95,000 visitors to the SAPA-Project website between February 7, 2017 and December 31, 2017. Participants were administered a mixture of survey content that was partially consistent across all respondents and partially distinct. The consistent portion included the SAPA Personality Inventory, various measures from the International Cognitive Ability Resource, and a range of demographic and psychographic questions. Each participant was also administered a random sampling of items from a much larger pool of psychosocial surveys. The data are available in rdata format and are accompanied by documentation stored as a text file. Re-use potential include many types of structural and correlational analyses for personality and personality-outcomes research
