いま話題のプログラム言語Pythonをマクロ経済データ分析にツールとして利用した場合にどのようなことができるのか。本稿では、実際にPythonによるcodeを書きながら、消費関数の推計を例に解説する。Pythonを用いた経済データ分析にどのような利点があるのか、また、今後のマクロ経済データ分析の可能性や方向性についても議論していく。What can be done when the hot programming language Python is usedas a tool for macroeconomic data analysis?
