Définir l'intimité et le consentement : l'éducation à la vie affective et relationnelle au cycle 3
Obligatoire depuis 2001 à raison de 3h par an, l'Éducation à la sexualité (EAS), désormais appelée Éducation à la Vie Affective et Relationnelle (EVAR) depuis 2025, est pourtant rarement appliquée. Face à ce constat, de nombreux ajustements ont été réalisés afin d'en clarifier les actions et les modalités. Pourtant, cette dernière pourrait être bénéfique dans la prévention des violences sexistes et sexuelles car elle informe les enfants sur leurs droits et les sensibilise à divers concepts clés comme le consentement ou l'intimité. Au regard de ce postulat, ce mémoire analyse les perceptions d'élèves de CM1-CM2 concernant ces deux notions via une étude qualitative menée pendant des séances d'EVAR. Cette étude a démontré que les élèves disposaient de connaissances qui méritaient d'être consolidées afin d'assurer leur bien-être en toute circonstance
Commentary: Prevalence and incidence of celiac disease in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: a case-control study based on the RECORD cohort
International audienceAbstract A major pathway in the biological carbon pump is the gravitational sinking of organic particles from the sunlit ocean (0–200 m) to the deep ocean. Variability in particle fluxes measured by sediment traps is often attributed to variability in primary production in the surface ocean. However, particle fluxes are also influenced by physical processes such as mesoscale eddies and fronts. In this study, we assess the impact of upper‐ocean dynamical structures on the variability of particle collection in the deep ocean. This is achieved by forward tracking the trajectories of 51.9 million virtual particles that were homogeneously released at a depth of 200 m with a constant sinking velocity of 50 m in the Northeast Atlantic basin. We found that, despite a homogeneous particle source without biological effects, purely dynamical changes can induce heterogeneity in particle density and origin at depth. The position of sediment traps can thus significantly influence the weekly to seasonal particle collection in the deep ocean. Additionally, we identify and characterize nine particle clusters using a machine‐learning approach. The results show that the seasonality of particle collection at depth can be induced by seasonal variations in upper‐ocean flow structures. Clusters associated with eddy and frontal structures are found to intermittently contribute more than 50% of the particle amount during winter and spring, with smaller secondary peaks in the summer months. This study highlights the connection between mesoscale ocean dynamics and the spatio‐temporal pattern of conservative (non‐biological) particle collection in the deep ocean
Enquête sur les terrains de stage du diplôme d’études spécialisées (DES) de Médecine interne et Immunologie clinique : état des lieux fin 2024, sept ans après la mise en place de la réforme du troisième cycle des études médicales en France
International audienceObjectiveTo compile a list of approved training sites for the Residency Training Program [Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées] in Internal Medicine and Clinical Immunology (DES-MIIC) in France.MethodAll local coordinators of the DES-MIIC were contacted to establish the list of approved internship sites for the MIIC DES within their geographical subdivision.ResultsWe listed 244 approved training sites, of which 87 (35.7%) were in university hospitals. Depending on the region/subdivision, the number of approved training sites varied significantly. Internship sites within and outside of university hospitals were approved for the core-phase in 85% (74/87) and 63.7% (100/157) of cases, for the “development phase” in 94.3% (82/87) and 84.1% (132/157) of cases and for the consolidation phase 80.5% (70/87) and 52.2% (82/157) of cases, respectively. The vacancy rate for selection was lower in university hospitals than in general hospitals with ratios of 1.5 (89.3% vs. 61%), 1.8 (88.8% vs. 48.9%) and 1.6 (88,5% vs. 55.4%) - for respectively the core, development and consolidation phases.ConclusionThirty-five percent of internship sites were located in University hospitals. Depending on the region/subdivision, the number of approved training sites for the DES-MIIC varies greatly. Half of internship positions are vacant outside of University hospitals, just as nearly half of training sites in these same hospitals lack approval for the “consolidation phase”.ObjectifRépertorier en France les terrains de stage agréés pour le diplôme d’études spécialisées (DES) de Médecine interne et Immunologie clinique (MIIC).MéthodeTous les coordonnateurs/trices locaux du DES de MIIC ont été contactés afin d’identifier les terrains de stage agréés pour le DES de MIIC dans leur subdivision.RésultatsNous avons répertorié 244 terrains de stage agréés, dont 87 (35,7 %) en centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU). En fonction des régions/subdivisions, le nombre des terrains de stage agréés pour le DES de MIIC varie beaucoup. Les terrains de stage de CHU et hors CHU ont l’agrément pour la phase socle dans 85 % (74/87) et 63,7 % (100/157) des cas, pour la phase d’approfondissement dans 94,3 % (82/87) et 84,1 % (132/157) des cas et pour la phase de consolidation dans 80,5 % (70/87) et 52,2 % (82/157) des cas, respectivement. Au cours du semestre d’hiver 2024, le nombre des postes occupés par rapport au nombre de postes ouverts au choix est plus important en CHU que hors CHU : en phase socle en CHU 133/149 (89,3 %) postes sont occupés versus 64/105 (61 %) hors CHU ; en phase d’approfondissement en CHU 150/169 (88,8 %) sont occupés versus 64/131 (48,9 %) hors CHU ; en phase de consolidation 77/87 (88,5 %) sont occupés versus 36/65 (55,4 %) hors CHU.ConclusionTrente-cinq pour cent des terrains de stage sont en CHU. En fonction des régions/subdivisions, le nombre des terrains de stage agréés pour le DES de MIIC varie beaucoup. Près de la moitié des terrains de stage hors CHU n’ont pas l’agrément pour la phase de consolidation. Au cours du semestre d’hiver 2024, près de la moitié des postes d’internes ouverts hors CHU n’étaient pas pourvus

Bio-inspired hydrophobicity in cellulose nanopaper via thermal-induced phase separation of beeswax: A new strategy to develop sustainable food packaging materials and its service life prediction
In this study, a hydrophobic cellulose nanopaper was developed by inducing hydrophobicity via the costeffective and eco-friendly thermal-induced phase separation (TIPS) technique of beeswax. The resultant material suggests huge potential in food packaging applications due to the reduced water-vapour transmission rate (WVTR) and oxygen permeability, which is highly desirable in the current scenario. The beeswax adheres to the cellulose nanofiber through hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic-hydrophobic interactions. The fabricated hydrophobic cellulose nanopaper was characterized by FTIR, SEM, XRD, TGA and UTM. The beeswax-modified cellulose nanopaper (BCNP) showed a water contact angle of 119 degrees and tensile strength of 28.5 MPa. The TIPS of beeswax in the CNP resulted in the fine coating of beeswax, which subsequently led to a substantial reduction in the water vapour transmission rate (1.8 (g/h.m2)) and oxygen permeability (38 Barrer), suggesting that the fabricated BCNP could be an effective packaging material for foodstuffs. The biodegradability study of the material has also been investigated via soil burial tests. The surface area and pore size of the material were analyzed by using BET analysis. The fabricated material has the ability to efficiently preserve the tomato fruit at an ambient temperature. We also investigated the service life of CNP and bee wax-coated CNP using the Arrhenius equation, substituting the tensile strength values obtained during the hygrothermal ageing studies. Therefore, the fabricated packaging material developed from hydrophobic cellulose nanopaper via TIPS aligns with green development strategies and could be a promising alternative to petroleum-based packaging material

A Fast Wavelet-Based Hybrid Method to Model the RCS of Metallic Targets in Maritime Environment
International audienceThis article focuses on a hybrid wavelet-based model to compute the radar cross section (RCS) of metallic targets in a maritime environment. The latter is based on the parabolic wave equation, solved in the wavelet domain, for the propagation to the target and the wavelet-based method of moments for the scattered field. Key advantages include its ability to account for terrain relief and refraction effects within the propagation channel, as well as providing accurate RCS calculations. Additionally, wavelet-domain compression enables a flexible trade-off between computational efficiency and precision. Numerical experiments in the VHF-band are performed to validate the method
Practical Design of Load-Aware Seamless Steering in Wi-Fi Networks
International audienceIn this letter, we propose a standard-compliant access point (AP) steering solution for commodity Wi-Fi that enables seamless steering of ongoing data sessions. We identify a ping-pong phenomenon caused by relying on AP-broadcasted channel utilization for steering. Our solution introduces a nondisruptive capacity room metric, which considers both signal strength and channel utilization to evaluate candidate APs for steering. A key feature of our solution is self-load estimation, enabling accurate channel load assessment and mitigating pingpong effects. We prototype the proposed solution on commodity Wi-Fi APs and conduct testbed experiments using unmodified commercial Wi-Fi clients. Our evaluation demonstrates significant performance gains over benchmark schemes, including an open-source solution, achieving up to 2.8× higher throughput.</div
