Analysis of Language Errors in the “Larise” Magazine Article at SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta
This study aims to analyze language errors and their interpretations at the level of syntax, morphology, and Indonesian Spelling System as well as to increase knowledge and insight about how to write properly and correctly according to the language rules that have been regulated in the KBBI and PUEBI. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The data in this study are in the form of words (not numbers) sourced from Larise magazine in an article entitled "Philosophy of Kidungan Jawa "Ana Kidung Rumeksa ing Wengi" published on Sunday, October 11, 2020. The data collection technique in this study is a note-taking technique, namely: by reading Larise magazine as a data source. The analysis used in this study is an interactive analysis which includes the steps of a) data collection, b) error identification, c) error explanation, d) error classification, and e) error evaluation. In this study, an analysis of errors in writing rules was carried out at the level of syntax, morphology, and accuracy in the use of Indonesian Spelling (EBI). Implementation of Improving Human Resources Based on School Culture at SMPN 1 Pematangsiantar
This study aims to describe the implementation of improving school culture-based human resources at SMPN 1 Pematangsiantar. The culture that exists in schools is actually able to become the basis for improving human resources. School culture is closely related to the values, vision and mission of the school that have been built and agreed upon by the school. This research was conducted within the framework of a qualitative research approach. A qualitative research approach is a process followed to explain perceptions and cases about a matter in a way that reflects the truth in their typical environment and as a whole using various data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study revealed that the hallmark or characteristics of SMPN 1 Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra Province, namely, based on discipline and being a school of character in forming a cadre of national leaders who are patriotic, have national insight, culture, independence, who are competitive in the fields of science and technology. technology, and skills within the framework of faith and piety have been transformed into a school culture which then contributes to the improvement of human resources. The Effect of CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition) Method on Students Achievement in Reading Recount Text
This research aim is to know if there is a significant effect CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) Method of the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. The population is the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan, which is consist of 250 students. Then, the sample is taken from the population by cluster random sampling technique and the total sample is 61 students. After calculating the data, it is found that the mean score of students reading recount text before taught by CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) method is 70; it is categorized as “enough”. While the mean score of students reading invitation letters after being taught by CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) method is 90, it is categorized as “good”. After finding the score of ttest and ttable, both of the scores are compared. It is found that the ttest is higher than ttable (ttest>ttable = 2,97 > 1,98) It means there is a significant effect of the CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, and Composition) method on reading recount text of the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. So, the hypothesis in this research can be accepted.
Teacher\u27s Perception of Learning Tools through Realistic Mathematics Education with Islamic Context on Social Arithmetic Materials
This study aims to determine the teacher\u27s perception of learning tools through realistic mathematics education with an Islamic context on social arithmetic material. This research uses descriptive-analytical research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were two mathematics teachers at MTsS Darul Hikmah in West Aceh, two mathematics teachers at MTsS Safinatun Naja in Nagan Raya, and three mathematics teachers at MAS Darul Hikmah in West Aceh. The data collection technique used an open questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that seven teachers (100%) had never participated in using learning tools through realistic mathematics education with an Islamic context on social arithmetic material, five (71%) of the seven teachers were interested in using the learning tools, six (86%) of the seven teachers interested and agree with the learning tools in question, and seven teachers (100%) are willing and express their willingness to use the learning tools in question to students optimally. Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the majority of teachers stated that the learning tools needed to be developed to support the vision and mission of the school. So, teachers and students need learning tools through realistic mathematics education with an Islamic context that lead students to understand social arithmetic based on the realities of everyday life that are integrated with Islamic values
Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square for Modeling the Relationship of Readiness, Creativity and Motivation to Students\u27 Problem-Solving Ability
This study aims to determine how much influence readiness, creativity, and learning motivation have on problem-solving abilities. This study used a quantitative approach and was conducted in class X SMA Negeri 13 Ambon with 41 students selected by purposive sampling. Tests and questionnaires were used in data collection and analyzed with SMART PLS 4. The results showed that the external model loading factor and Cronbach\u27s Alpha > 0.7 had high validity and reliability. The campaign, creativity, and motivation variables of 54.6% can explain the inner model of the dependent variable. Furthermore, for the hypothesis, there is a positive and significant effect of the readiness and motivation variables, while creativity has no effect and is not substantial. This research has implications for increasing students\u27 cognitive readiness independently through motivation to develop creative ideas and connect the knowledge gained in solving problem
Application of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) To Improve The Students’ Mathematical Communication Ability
This article will discuss the communication skills of SMP IT Al Ikhwan students in class VII-1 and VII-2 each with a total of 32 students, after being given learning through RME. Determination of the sample is done by simple random. The research instrument used in this study was a test that was statistically analyzed using N-Gain. After carrying out a series of activities starting from the pretest, treatment and posttest, it can be concluded that the use of RME was apparently good for improving mathematical communication skills as seen from the N-Gain acquisition for each class that was sampled. The learning process that uses RME opens opportunities for students to be able to play a more active role in expressing themselves in solving mathematical problems and realistic mathematics education gets a very good response, students really like it and feel very excited
Developing Video-Based Learning Media with Problem-Based Learning Approach on Pythagorean Theorem Topic
Technology and information development give significant changes to the required human skills in the current era. Educational development is also needed so it is able to prepare the peoples to fulfill nowadays standards, one of it was through the development of learning media that is able to set up students so they have the opportunity to develop the abilities needed. The goals of this study is to develop a mathematics learning video based on problem-based learning approach on the Pythagorean Theorem topic. This is a Research and Development (R&D) study with ADDIE development method. This study’s subjects were 17 eighth-grade students at Junior High School 2 Pandaan. The results show that the problem-based mathematics learning video on the Pythagorean Theorem topic had been successfully developed. Product validation by media expert got a score of 3.71 and product validation by material expert got a score of 3.70 which means that the product is valid. Then for the product practically tests got a score of 3,34 which means that the product is practical. The result of the effectiveness test from the student’s score on the evaluation test after learning using the media shows that 82.4% of all subjects have reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) so that the product can be said to be effective. The results indicate that problem-based learning videos can be used as learning media on the Pythagorean Theorem topic
Mathematical Connections in Statistics Student Worksheets
This research is development research conducted with the ADDIE development model, which aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKS) based on mathematical connections on statistical material for seventh-grade junior high school students. Data was collected by using questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The research respondents were 10 students consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls from SMP Al Irsyad Banyuwangi. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the LKS based on mathematical connections met the valid criteria with a value of 4,53. LKS is also said to be practically based on the average student response which reaches more than 3,25. While the effectiveness of LKS is shown from classical completeness which reaches 90%. So that the product is declared fit for use. Furthermore, it is necessary to conduct trials with respondents on a large scale to determine their practicality and effectivenes
Development of HOTs-Based Teaching Materials, Multiple Intelligence, and Baimbai Wood Characters for River-Bank Elementary Schools
This study aims to develop teaching materials based on HOTS, multiple intelligence, and the character of Baimbai pedaling for riverside elementary schools. This study used the research and product development method of teaching materials with the Borg & Gall design, which consisted of 10 steps. The sample comprises 72 elementary school students, six principals, and 10 class teachers. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling. The research instrument is a validity test questionnaire and tests. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis and independent sample t-test. Based on the results of assessments from SD teaching materials experts, media experts, SD design experts, and character education experts, a score of > 92 was obtained, indicating that the teaching materials were feasible to use. Based on the results of the effectiveness test conducted on 46 students and analyzed using an independent sample t-test, the t-count value was higher than the t-table (2.231> 1.576), and the significance value was less than 0.05 (0.002 <0.005). The increase occurred in the medium category with a value of N-Gain = 0.3
Application of Peer Tutoring Method To Improve Dancing Skills in Class IV Traditional Dance Materials at SD 1 Pangenrejo
Improving the quality of education is influenced by the factors involved such as teachers, curriculum, infrastructure and the environment. The curriculum for primary and secondary education is required to include art and culture subjects. The problem that is obtained at this time is the low interest of students in cultural arts subjects which results in the skills of students, especially traditional dancing, have not yet reached the criteria for completeness. Another problem is teacher-centered learning so that it limits students in exploring their skills. The purpose of this study was to improve students\u27 traditional dancing skills with the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria, namely 80. The subjects in this study were 8th grade elementary school students. This is in accordance with the restrictions on activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The instruments in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets, documentation, field notes and tests. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The results showed that in the pre-cycle activities the average result was 50.78 which the value had not yet reached the KKM, then the first cycle was carried out for 4 meetings, each meeting took a score to find the average at the end of the cycle. Cycle I got an average score of 64.28. In cycle II, the researcher also held 4 meetings and got a final average score of 83.46 which the value has reached the specified KKM. students\u27 traditional dance
