    Korean Media Strategies in Constructing Global Education Narratives: A Framing Analysis of SEVENTEEN\u27s Speech at UNESCO

    This research employs Pan and Kosicki\u27s framing model to examine the depiction of SEVENTEEN\u27s address at the 2023 UNESCO Youth Forum by Korean online media. The study analyzed three leading media sources: The Chosun Daily, Hankyoreh, and The Kyunghyang Shinmun, each showcasing distinct ideological perspectives. This research employs qualitative methods to explore how these outlets intentionally utilize syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical framing components to construct the conveyed message. The results indicate that The Chosun Daily prioritizes national pride and unity, Hankyoreh emphasizes humanitarian and educational themes, while The Kyunghyang Shinmun showcases youth empowerment and solidarity. Although they have differing ideologies, the three media organizations advocate for common principles, such as the significance of education, international collaboration, and leadership among young people. This research highlights the significant influence of framing on the public\u27s views of global occurrences and personalities, particularly within the realm of public diplomacy via K-pop. Furthermore, it aids in the progression of media studies by offering perspectives on how cultural symbols shape stories of optimism, collaboration, and citizenship. Future comparative research is suggested to examine cross-cultural framing methods in digital journalism

    The Role of the Principal in Implementing Data-Based Education Planning at Kindergarten

    This research aims to describe and analyze the principal\u27s experiences implementing data-based educational planning at TK Negeri Sunter Agung, North Jakarta. Data-based education planning is a strategic approach that uses objective data from the Education Report to analyze work programs, annual activity plans, and school activity and budget plans. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. Interviews, observations, and document analysis are the data collection techniques used. Data sources consist of primary data (school principal, teachers, school operator, and school committees) and secondary data (educational reports, annual activity plans, school activity and budget plans, curriculum, school profiles, etc.). Research findings indicate that the principal plays a crucial role as a driver of data collection, a leader in implementing data-based educational planning, an empowerer of teachers and academic staff, a collaborator, and an executor of monitoring and evaluation activities

    Teaching Anti-Corruption from an Early Age: An Analysis of Values in the Film Si Kumbi for Early Childhood Education

    This study analyzed the anti-corruption values ​​depicted in the film series Si Kumbi published by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and its relevance to early childhood education. The film has proven to be effective in conveying various anti-corruption values, including honesty, responsibility, caring, justice, simplicity, hard work, discipline, courage, and accountability. These values ​​are demonstrated through the actions of the characters, who serve as positive role models for young viewers. However, the value of independence is not explicitly highlighted in the film, indicating an opportunity for further development in future narratives. This study highlights the importance of these values ​​in shaping children\u27s moral and character development, particularly in fostering positive social behaviors such as honesty and responsibility. Based on the analysis, The series of Si Kumbi has proven to be an effective tool in introducing these values ​​to young viewers, although it would be better if it incorporated the dimension of independence to provide a more comprehensive approach to anti-corruption education. The findings highlight the potential of film as a resource for early childhood character education, helping to instill important values ​​for a better and more ethical future

    Educaplay as an Interactive Digital Media for Students\u27 HOTS Thinking on Living Things Material

    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Educaplay interactive digital media in improving the Higher Order Thinking Skills of grade II elementary school students on the subject of living things. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The subjects of the study were 20 grade II students of SDN Karawang Kulon II. The instruments used were multiple-choice HOTS tests and descriptions based on the revised Bloom\u27s taxonomy, with indicators of analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the posttest score compared to the pretest, with an average increase of 41.1 points and a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05). The N-Gain value was in the medium to high category (average 0.6867). In addition, the analysis of the quality of the questions showed that most of the questions were difficult and had good discriminating power. These findings indicate that Educaplay is effective in developing students\u27 HOTS skills through interactive, contextual, and fun learning. The implications of this Research encourage teachers to utilize digital media as a learning tool that is not only interesting but also able to stimulate high-level cognitive activities from the elementary education level

    Literature Review of Research Trends in the Development of Canva-Based Interactive Learning Media for Elementary Schools Between 2019-2025

    This study explores how research has evolved regarding the use of Canva-based interactive learning media in elementary schools between 2019 and 2025. The growing need for creative, engaging, and user-friendly teaching tools-especially in light of rapid digital transformation in education-forms the core motivation behind this review. Canva, known for its intuitive design and ease of use, has gained traction among educators as a go to platform for developing visually appealing and interactive classroom materials. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study analyzed 20 peer-reviewed articles from reputable academic sources. Articles were selected based on criteria such as publication (2019-2025), relevance to Canva as a teaching tool, and focus on elementary education. The findings reveal a clear upward trend in the adoption of Canva to enhance student participation, conceptual understanding, and learning motivation. The media created through Canva tend to be highly visual, easily accessible, and adaptable across different instructional approaches, including thematic and project-based learning. These results highlight the growing importance of equipping teachers with the necessary training and encouraging the integration of Canva into classroom practice as part of broader educational innovation aligned with today\u27s digital era

    Teachers\u27 Understanding of Personality Competence and Work Discipline of High School Teachers

    This study explores the suboptimal competence and work discipline of high school teachers. It aims to understand the meaning, perceptions, experiences, and real practices of teachers related to personality and discipline. A descriptive, qualitative approach was employed, utilizing purposive sampling, with experienced teachers from SMAN 42 East Jakarta. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that personality competence is seen as being a role model through honesty and fairness, while discipline is reflected in a strong sense of responsibility. The primary obstacle is an administrative workload that hampers disciplinary focus, while support is provided through MGMP training and regular character-building programs. The implications underscore the importance of institutional support and policy adjustments in reducing administrative burdens, enabling teachers to focus more effectively on teaching and student character development

    Effectiveness of EMC2 Social Emotional Attitudes on Mental Health of Elementary School Students

    This study addresses the problem of declining character values and increasing mental health challenges among elementary school students, which are exacerbated by rapid social changes and insufficient emotional support in educational settings. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the EMC² Social Emotional Attitude program in supporting students\u27 mental health and developing their emotional and social skills. Quantitative research design, data were collected using questionnaires and in-depth interviews with selected participants. The findings reveal that the majority of students reported significant benefits from the EMC² program, including improvements in emotional regulation, self-esteem, and classroom interaction. Students felt more valued, confident, and emotionally stable in their daily school experiences. These results confirm that the EMC² approach has a positive impact on students\u27 mental health and provides a viable model for character education in elementary schools. The study highlights the importance of ongoing collaboration among teachers, schools, and families in fostering the development of students\u27 social-emotional competencies and overall well-being

    Development of Student Worksheets Based on Science Literacy for Environmental Pollution Materials

    This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on scientific literacy on environmental pollution material for grade X students of Senior High School. The research method employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing a 3D model, conducted at MAN 1 in Bandung City. The instruments used include interview sheets, validation sheets, readability sheets, student response questionnaires, and student worksheets. The validation results indicate that LKPD falls into the \u27valid to very valid\u27 category, with a media expert score of 71.25% and a material expert score of 81.33%. The readability test results were 79% and 85%, respectively, and the student response was 86.4%. The average value of the limited trial reached 91. It can be concluded that LKPD, based on scientific literacy regarding environmental pollution and materials, is feasible and effective in supporting biology learning through scientific literacy. Biology teachers can apply the practical implications of this study to enhance the effectiveness of learning and serve as a reference in developing LKPD on other topics related to environmental issues

    Literature Review: Trends in the Development of Natural and Social Science Learner Worksheets in Primary Schools between 2019-2025

    This study aims to analyze trends in the development of student worksheets in natural and social science learning at the primary school level during the 2019–2025 period. The method used is a literature review with a PRISMA approach applied to 25 selected articles out of 998 obtained through Publish or Perish. The PRISMA approach was implemented to transparently and systematically screen and select relevant articles through a flow diagram consisting of four stages: identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. The results show that the most dominant learning model used in the development of natural and social science student worksheets is inquiry, followed by discovery learning, STEM, CTL, and the scientific approach. The developed worksheets have been proven effective in improving learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and scientific literacy, as well as students’ motivation and learning independence. The implications of this study are significant for educators and material developers in designing innovative student worksheets that align with students’ needs, are consistent with the Merdeka Curriculum, and are relevant to the demands of 21st-century learning

    Resilience of Vocational High School Students from Divorced Families: Facing Challenges and Navigating Career Choices

    This study aims to investigate the resilience of vocational high school students from divorced families as they encounter life challenges and make career decisions. Employing a qualitative intrinsic case study approach, the research involved students from divorced families as the main participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with participants and their significant others, supported by document analysis, and analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The results reveal five key themes: parental divorce, coping dynamics, sources of resilience, career choices, and factors influencing career decisions. The findings indicate that resilience is influenced by emotional regulation, stress-coping strategies, attachment figures, self-control, gratitude, and optimism dimensions that correspond to the concepts of "I am," "I have," and "I can." Career choices, meanwhile, are influenced by family heritage, childhood experiences, parenting patterns, and personal needs. This study provides a novel contribution by integrating resilience theory with career development perspectives in vocational education contexts, particularly among students affected by parental divorce. The results highlight the importance of resilience as a predictor of adaptive capacity in career decision-making. The implications suggest that educators, counselors, and schools should design targeted intervention programs to strengthen resilience and facilitate career readiness among students from divorced families
