Technical Meeting for the Academic Manuscript of Squid Fisheries Refugia Bangka Belitung Province.
This report is under the SEAFDEC/UNEP/GEF Project on “Establishment and Operation of a Regional System of Fisheries Refugia in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand”The purpose of the meeting report was to deliver the study result and the prepared academic manuscript to the relevant stakeholder in Bangka Belitung Province. Report of online regional training course on onboard fishing handling
This report is a part of an online regional training course on Onboard Fish Handling organized through the Zoom platform under the situation of the Coronavirus- 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the Southeast Asian region and all over the world. This online training course was envisaged to gather and update information on capabilities to transfer the knowledge gained from the training program. It could be applied as a way forward for improving and raising awareness of the optimal utilization of fish and fishery products.
Participants of an online regional training course on Onboard Fish Handling who those relevant working experiences and related fish handling and capabilities are to expected transfer the knowledge gained from the training program to SEAFDEC Member Countries. The online training was supported by the Japanese Trust Fund. There were 2 sessions at the online training: (1) Literature reviews and (2) Discussion/evaluation. This report summaries the main points made during the presentation and discussions on 28 to 30 June 2022
