This report is under the SEAFDEC/UNEP/GEF Project on “Establishment and Operation of a Regional System of Fisheries Refugia in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand”National Consultative Meeting on Drafting Proclamation of the Establishment of Management Area of Short Mackerel Fisheries Refugia was conducted by Fisheries Administration at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries on 30 July 2019. The meeting aimed to finalize the proclamation proposed by the Fisheries Administration for further adoption by the Government. The meeting was attended by 16 participants from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Fisheries Administration, Koh Kong Provincial Hall Administration (FIA), and Koh Kong provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.UNEP/GE
Sustainable Fisheries Management Plan for the Sarangani Bay and Sulawesi Sea: Region 12, Philippines
The Sustainable Fisheries Management Plan for the Sarangani Bay and Sulawesi Sea is an Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) Plan for the the Sarangani Bay and parts of the Sulawesi Sea that comprise the provinces of South Cotabato, Sarangani, and Sultan Kudarat, including Cotabato City and General Santos City (SOCCSKARGEN)—also known as Region 12 in the Philippines’ 16 administrative regions. This document is intended to provide a framework for fisheries management within the Sarangani Bay-Sulawesi corridor for adoption and implementation by relevant governmental agencies, local government units, non-governmental partners, academic and research institutions, and the fishing industry sector that altogether will benefit from effective fisheries management and biodiversity conservation in SOCCSKSARGEN and other regions of the Philippines

The result come up with the Draft Proclamation of Marine Fisheries Management Area which included Fisheries Refugia Site in in Koh Touch and Prek Thnaot commune, Tek Chhou district, Kampot province.UNEP/GE
Report of UTM Point Collection for Zoning at Chhorng Horn Community Fisheries Site in Kampot
This report is under the SEAFDEC/UNEP/GEF Project on “Establishment and Operation of a Regional System of Fisheries Refugia in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand”UTM Point Collection for Zoning at Chhorng Horn Community Fisheries Site in Kampot was conducted by Fisheries Administration, at Kampot, on 5-6 March 2019. Based on the discussion among the relevant stakeholders such as FIA, FIAC in Kampot, Wildlife Earth Allie, and Chhorng Horn CFi, the UTM point are collected as follows: 1) Protected Zone of 1000ha from Thmor Kapal Bek at Prek Kdach village to Nataya Resort; 2) Conservation Zone of 30ha in Chhorng Horn CFi; 3) Fisheries Refugia Zone of 500ha from Thmor Kapal Bek to Try Pheap Company; and 4) Dolphin Conservation Zone of 40ha from Krolok Kontan Karng Tboung in Chhorng Horn CFi.UNEP/GE
