IMPROVING FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF ISLAMIC BANK IN INDONESIA THROUGH ISLAMIC CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND EARNING MANAGEMENT
Get PDFAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Islamic Corporate Governance dan Manajemen Laba terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Syariah. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder. Data penelitian diperoleh dari dua belas Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia tahun 2018-2022, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kemudian, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Islamic corporate governance dan manajemen laba berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja keuangan bank syariah. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa variabel Islamic corporate governance dapat membantu bank syariah di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan kinerja keuangan dengan adanya manajemen laba yang terkendali dari pihak bank syariah. Selain itu, temuan ini akan berkontribusi terhadap literatur mengenai variabel penentu kinerja keuangan bank syariah.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Corporate Governance and Earning Management variable toward the Financial Performance of Islamic Banks. The examination technique utilizes a quantitative methodology with optional information. The exploration information were acquired from 12 (twelve) Islamic Business Banks in Indonesia in 2018-2022 period, which were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Then, the analysis technique uses Pooled Least Square of regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that Islamic corporate governance and earnings management have a significant effect on the financial performance of Islamic banks. The findings of this study provide evidence that Islamic corporate governance variables can assist Islamic banks in Indonesia, improving financial performance with controlled earnings management on the part of Islamic banks. Furthermore, these discoveries will add to the writing with respect to the determinants of Islamic bank monetary execution.

INVESTIGATING THE COGNITIVE PROCESSES IN POST-EDITING ACTIVITY USING THINKING ALOUD PROTOCOLS
Get PDFThe study aims to investigate the cognitive processes and meta-cognitive strategies used by the post-editor when doing the post-editing activity. It examines the way the post editor reads, thinks, speculates, and makes decision to the machine translation results and correcting the problems founds from the translated text. Thinking Aloud Protocols (TAPs) is used as the approach of the study to record the meta-cognitive strategies applied by the post editor. Several instruments such as video recording tools, machine-translated text, and timer are operated during the data collection. From the study, it is shown that reasoning and problem solving become the most running strategy from the post-editor. It occurs since the post-editor mostly looks for the problems and tries to find a way of correcting mistakes from the translation. The result also shows that the post-editor tries to comprehend the problems and decides the accurate decision when song the post-editing. The cognitive process and meta-cognitive strategies are quite different between the translator and the post-editor.
 
AL- NILAI AL-MA'RŪF DALAM AL-QUR’AN TENTANG PERCERAIAN
No full textAl-Ma'rūf value is a fundamental principle in marriage. Besides, this principle must be also applied in divorce proceeding. This article aims to describe comprehensively about al-ma'rūf in al-Qur'an, therefore the value of the word can be found. This research uses library research that uses a normative approach. This article is analyzed by using al-munāsabah al-Qur'an theory. This article reveals, there are 10 verses in al-Qur'an containing al-ma'rūf value in theme verses of divorce. These repeated words indicate that al-Qur'an pays attention of al-ma'rūf value seriously in divorce proceeding. This value is sometimes neglected by the husband who divorced her. The outline of this article is, al-ma'rūf value is a treatment that include in frame of Islamic guidance, common senses, compatible with attitude of virtuous people, and appropriate with custom. Al-Ma'rūf value is Islamic guarantee and protection for women, who often get injustice and arbitary. Therefore, it can be concluded that Islam is very much fighting for women's rights, especially in divorce proceeding
JARIMAH BAGI PELAKU TINDAK PIDANA LINGKUNGAN HIDUP PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM

One of the causes of natural disasters is due to human actions that use nature carelessly, where humans in managing nature do not pay attention to ecosystems in a comprehensive and well-planned manner. Allah SWT has provided provisions that humans are encouraged to always take care of their environment as well as possible so that it remains sustainable. Human behavior that does not have a sense of responsibility and always causes damage to nature must certainly be punished accordingly (jarimah) for their actions. This paper aims to describe the exact form of jarimah imposed on the perpetrators of environmental destruction. Environmental destruction can be categorized as a criminal act. The purpose of imposing a finger on the perpetrators of environmental destruction is so that the perpetrators are wary of what they have done. The forms of jarimah are very diverse, therefore it is necessary to have an appropriate analysis in giving jarimah to perpetrators of environmental crimes

Lebih miris lagi berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik pada bulan Agustus 2021 menunjukkan jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia didominasi oleh lulusan SMK hal ini disebabkan banyaknya peserta didik yang tidak bisa melanjutkan ke jenjang selanjutnya dan tidak mempunyai bekal yang cukup mereka hanya siap untuk mengisi lowongan pekerjaan dibanding menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami dan menelaah terkait perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi model pendidikan entrepreneurship skill pada materi ajar PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan triangulasi. The Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an Spirit Da'wah Indonesia Foundation (TPQLB SPIDI) Tulungagung, which is the focus of this study, is one of the institutions that believe that their involvement is the answer to these needs, inequality, and slanted views. This institution survives and even continues to grow and steal the public's attention. This article is a record of community empowerment based on the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method with an emphasis on the analysis of organizational resilience in a sociological perspective. No full textملخص: وقد أظهرت المدارس التي تنفذ التعليم التضمين تطوراً كبيراً وانتشاراً وواسع النطاق في إندونيسيا. المدرسة الإبتدائية هاشم اشعاري ونودادي بليتار والمدرسة الإبتدائية فنكرساري عانترو تولونج اكونج هما المدرستان اللتان طبقتا التعليم التضمين بالتأكيد لا تضع الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بطريقة هامشية، لأن جميع الأطفال أصبحوا جزءًا من كل أنشطة التعليم والتعلم. من خلال التعليم التضمين، يتم تعليم الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة مع أطفال آخرين (عاديين) لتحسين إمكانات هؤلاء الأطفال من خلال التعليم في المدارس. في المدرسة الإبتدائية هاشم اشعاري ونودادي بليتار والمدرسة الإبتدائية فنكرساري عانترو تولونج اكونج أيضًا درس اللغة العربية كموضوع مستقل. الهدف من تعليم اللغة العربية بالإضافة إلى الطلاب الذين يتقنون اللغة نفسها من المتوقع أيضًا أن تؤدي اللغة العربية المستفادة إلى دفع الطلاب إلى فهم الإسلام من خلال كتب القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف والكتب العربية. ومن المتوقع أيضًا أن تكون قادرة على تشجيع وتوجيه الطلاب إلى حب اللغة العربية في سياق حب القرآن.

Abstrac: the schools that implement inclusive education have shown a significant developments, and widespread in Indonesia. SDI Plus Hasyim As'ari Wonodadi Biltar, and SDI Pinggirsari Ngantru Tulungagung that have implemented inclusion in education, they do not place children with special needs on a marginal basis, because all children are united, and become part of every teaching and learning activity. Through inclusive education, children with special needs are educated with other children (normal) to optimize the potential of these children through education in schools. SDI Plus Hasyim As'ari Wonodadi Biltar, and SDI Pinggirsari Ngantru Tulungagung also teach Arabic as an independent subject. The objective of learning Arabic is not only to master the language it self, but it is hoped that the Arabic language learning can lead the students to understand Islam through the Alquran, Hadith, and clasical Arabic books. It is also hoped that it can foster and guide students to love Arabic in the context of love al-Qur'an.

Abstrak: sekolah yang menerapkan pendidikan inklusi telah menunjukkan perkembangan yang cukup signifikan dan tersebar luas di Indonesia. SDI Plus Hasyim As’ari Wonodadi Biltar dan SDI Pinggirsari Ngantru Tulungagung merupakan sekolah yang telah menerapkan inklusi tentu tidak menempatkan anak berkebutuhan khusus secara marginal, karena semua anak menyatu dan menjadi bagian dalam setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar. Melalui pendidikan inklusi, anak berkebutuhan khusus dididik bersama anak-anak lainnya (normal) untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki anak tersebut melalui pendidikan di sekolah. SDI Plus Hasyim As’ari Wonodadi Biltar dan SDI Pinggirsari Ngantru Tulungagung juga mengajarkan bahasa Arab sebagai mata pelajaran yang berdiri sendiri. Tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab selain agar siswa menguasai bahasa itu sendiri diharapkan juga bahasa Arab yang dipelajari dapat mengantarkan peserta didik agar memahami agama Islam melalui Alquran, Hadits dan kitab-kitab berbahasa Arab. Dan diharapkan juga dapat membina dan membimbing peserta didik untuk mencintai bahasa Arab dalam rangka cinta kepada Alquran.

Dinamika Feminisme Islam dalam Mendefinisikan Perempuan
Get PDFPerempuan Muslim belum bersepakat tentang bagaimana hubungan antara feminisme dan Islam. Sebagian menerimanya sebagai bentuk upaya cendikiawan Muslim untuk menginterpretasikan kembali teks-teks keagamaan yang memiliki semangat kesetaraan. Di sisi lain, kritik terhadap feminisme yang dinilai membawa nilai-nilai Barat, nilai-nilai kolonial, dan definisi tunggal atas persoalan perempuan menyebabkan keraguan untuk menyebut upaya kesetaraan dalam Islam sebagai feminisme Islam. Artikel ilmiah ini mencoba untuk meninjau hubungan feminisme dan Islam dari sudut pandang filosofis dalam mendefinisikan perempuan, melalui studi tentang the self, the subject dan makna kesetaraan. Apakah terdapat persamaan dan perbedaan antara feminisme dan Islam dalam mendefinisikan ketiga konsep tersebut. Kajian ini dimulai dari filsafat feminisme melalui teori eksistensialisme Simone De Beauvoir, lahirnya Feminisme Islam, reinterpretasi teks keagamaan, dan dinamika subjektivitas dalam mendefinisikan kebebasan. Hasilnya, perspektif Feminisme dan Islam tidak tunggal. Baik Feminisme dan Islam sepakat atas perempuan sebagai diri dan subjek yang setara antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Standing Up Against Sexual Harassment in Film: Analyzing Resistance in Penyalin Cahaya
Get PDFThe film Penyalin Cahaya, which was released in 2021, garnered public attention because it tackled the issue of sexual harassment in educational institutions. Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis delves deeply into the iconic signs that depict various elements in the film. The research approach used in this study is qualitative, employing a descriptive method. The results show that the film Penyalin Cahaya portrays several signs related to cases of sexual harassment, affecting not only women but also men. Additionally, the film depicts the settlement of sexual harassment cases, where the perpetrators are often those who hold power and can describe the dominant ideological factors that still exist in society. In this film, the perpetrators of sexual harassment abuse their power and their parents' wealth to cover up their crimes and silence their victims. Consequently, the victims must fight against the unjust systems in place and seek justice for the sexual harassment they endure
Pengembangan e-LKM Terintegrasi Literasi Numerasi untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis pada Materi Analisis Vektor
Get PDFStudents' low reading interest greatly affects learning outcomes in Vector Analysis class. This is due to the rare interaction between students and learning resources in class. To increase student activity in reading and understanding the concept of vector analysis material, an e-LKM product is needed. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKM) in electronic form that is integrated with numeracy literacy which can be used for learning vector analysis courses by knowing the validity and practicality of procedures so that the use of these e-LKM can improve students' critical thinking. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Furthermore, the evaluation stage is carried out at each stage to improve the e-LKM that is made. The subjects were 21 students in semester VI of class C Mathematics Education FKIP Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. The research data was obtained by collecting questionnaires from material experts, media, and students' responses to the practicality of the media being developed. From the results of the questionnaires distributed, the average questionnaire from the two material experts and media experts showed excellent criteria with a mean score of 4.611 and 4.47 respectively. The results of student responses to product use show excellent criteria with a mean score of 4.27. Based on these results, the e-LKM that is used is proven to be valid and practical
