Pendampingan Membaca Huruf Hijaiyah dengan Metode ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) di Madrasah Diniyah Hidayatu at Thulab Dayakan
Get PDFThis community service program was initiated to strengthen students’ basic Qur’anic literacy by assisting them in recognizing and reading hijaiyah letters at Madrasah Diniyah Hidayatu At Thulab Dayakan. The main objective was to overcome students’ early reading challenges while at the same time empowering the local community through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The program followed several stages: asset identification to map resources such as teachers, parents and available media; mobilization of these assets through collaborative meetings; capacity building for teachers and facilitators to improve phonetic skills and teaching strategies; implementation of guided reading activities in small groups and individual sessions; and evaluation to observe learning outcomes. The results demonstrated a gradual but consistent improvement in students’ ability to distinguish similar letters, articulate sounds according to correct makhraj, and memorize letter sequences more fluently. Their confidence in reading aloud also increased significantly. Furthermore, the active participation of parents. Pendampingan Hafalan Al-Qur’an dengan Metode Talaqqi bagi Siswa yang Belum Bisa Membaca Al-Qur’an
Get PDFThis community service program aimed to assist students of SDN 4 Wagirlor in memorizing the Qur’an using the Talaqqi method. The background of this activity lies in the limited reading ability of some students who, despite not being fluent in reading the Qur’an, showed strong motivation to memorize it. The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing local assets such as Qur’an teachers, students’ enthusiasm, a supportive school environment, and the talaqqi method itself. The mentoring process was conducted through the stages of Discover, Dream, Design, Deliver, and Destiny, using talaqqi strategies based on direct interaction, verse repetition, and teacher correction. The results revealed that students found it easier to memorize by listening directly, felt more motivated when learning together, and were encouraged to complete the memorization of Juz 30. Furthermore, program sustainability was supported by the involvement of teachers, students, parents, and the school community. Get PDFThis study aims to demonstrate that the integration of STEAM-based ecoprint into the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) project within the Merdeka Curriculum can serve as an innovative and relevant learning approach at SDN Sahang. Ecoprint, an environmentally friendly technique that utilizes local plants and natural resources, is combined with the STEAM framework (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) to develop creative, contextual, and meaningful educational media. The research employs the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method, which emphasizes the identification and empowerment of existing assets within the school and local community to support sustainable and collaborative learning. The findings reveal that the implementation of STEAM-based ecoprint not only enhances students’ creativity, critical thinking, and environmental awareness but also strengthens character values aligned with the Pancasila student profile. Get PDFIn the current era of education, the role of teachers in guiding early childhood development is very important, especially in overcoming obstacles related to social-emotional aspects. One of the challenges often encountered is the shy nature of children, which can affect their interaction patterns both in the classroom and in the wider social environment. For this reason, it is important to know what are the factors that cause shyness in early childhood and what are the efforts made by teachers to overcome this condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions and efforts of teachers in overcoming shyness in early childhood at TK Dharma Wanita Ponorogo. This research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then processed using a qualitative analysis method with inductive reasoning.Based on the results of the study, the most dominant factors causing shyness in children include family environment, personal psychological factors, and limited experience in social interaction. Meanwhile, the efforts made by teachers include providing motivation, creating a supportive learning environment, involving children in group activities, and using a personal approach. The results of this study indicate that with consistent and patient teacher efforts, children gradually show positive changes, such as daring to answer greetings, participate in class activities, and interact with peers

Get PDFThis article discusses the strengthening of character education through morning exercise habituation activities before learning at SDN 4 Wagir Lor. Morning exercise is not only a physical activity to maintain health and fitness, but also a medium for shaping students’ character, particularly in terms of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, togetherness, and health awareness. This study employed the ABCD (Audience, Behavior, Condition, Degree) approach with all students of SDN 4 Wagir Lor as the research subjects. The findings indicate that routine morning exercise significantly improves students’ punctuality, enhances their learning motivation, fosters a sense of togetherness, and helps internalize character values into their daily lives. Therefore, morning exercise is proven to be a simple yet effective strategy to strengthen character education while simultaneously improving the quality of learning in elementary schools

Get PDFThis community service aims to describe how teachers identify hyperactive children, strategies used in dealing with hyperactive children's behavior, and the impact on hyperactive children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Sempu Ngebel Village, Ponorogo. The community service method uses Asset, Based, Community, and Development (ABCD) with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the community service show that the teacher's educational approach to dealing with hyperactive children implemented includes providing motivation, individual guidance, special attention, placing children in the front position, the use of fun learning methods, and educational media such as puzzle games. The impact on hyperactive children includes limited understanding of children's special needs, lack of resources and training, and suboptimal parental support. This community service concludes that the role of teachers is very important in creating a conducive learning environment for hyperactive children, with synergistic support from schools and parents. It is recommended that teachers improve their competencies through inclusive learning training, while schools and parents strengthen cooperation for the successful management of hyperactive children

Get PDFThis assistance program aims to strengthen production resilience and maintain the existence of Mr. Syamsudin's coconut sugar MSME in Dayakan Hamlet, Wagir Lor Village, Ngebel Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency. The method used is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with observation, interviews, participatory discussions, and field documentation techniques. The results of the assistance show that this coconut sugar business, despite being managed traditionally with limited labor, has been able to survive for more than a decade as a pillar of the family's economy. The innovations offered, namely the use of ziplock plastic packaging with simple labels and the use of digital marketing through WhatsApp Business and social media, have proven to increase the attractiveness of the product and expand its market reach. This assistance not only supports the economic aspects of families but also contributes to the preservation of local traditions and the empowerment of rural communities. With more professional management and support from the village government, coconut sugar MSMEs have the potential to become leading village products that have both economic and cultural value

The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation or application of food management which includes a series of activities starting from the planning, organizing, implementation, to supervision stages at the Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. This research was conducted at the Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School and was conducted from July 16 - August 28, 2025. The research uses the ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development) method , which is a method that prioritizes the benefits of assets and potentials that exist and are owned by the Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that budget planning is still constrained by funds, menus are not based on nutritional standards, the workforce does not have a nutritional background, the implementation does not follow operational standards, and hygiene supervision is still weak

Get PDFThis study aims to foster the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah in accordance with the rules of tajwid among students of Madin Miftahurrahman in Dusun Ngepel, Sempu Village, Ngebel, Ponorogo. The research employs demonstration and simulation methods combined with the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The study involved 12 elementary-level students who were guided directly in the learning process by KPM university students and supported by teachers of Madin Miftahurrahman through the stages of observation, practice, and documentation. The findings indicate that the application of demonstration and simulation methods with the ABCD approach significantly contributes to the improvement of students’ ability to recite Surah Al-Fatihah correctly according to tajwid. This learning model proved to be more interactive and contextual as it engaged teachers, students, and KPM university students in active participation. In conclusion, the study suggests that demonstration and simulation methods combined with the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach can serve as an effective learning strategy for developing accurate recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in line with tajwid principles
