Inclusive Pedagogical Strategies of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Instilling Multicultural Values Among Students
This study aims to analyze the inclusive pedagogical strategies employed by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers to instill multicultural values among students at SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran, Semarang Regency. Using a qualitative case-study design, data were collected from the school principal and five PAI teachers through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis (lesson plans, syllabi, and school records). Data were processed using thematic analysis with iterative reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure trustworthiness. The results indicate that teachers enact a constellation of inclusive strategies, interactive discussions, contextual case analyses, heterogeneous group work, project/value-based tasks, and explicit role modeling, while positioning themselves as facilitators, mediators, and moral exemplars in diverse classrooms. Enabling conditions include a school culture that affirms difference, strong principal support, and active student participation; constraints involve limited instructional time, uneven prior religious knowledge, occasional student resistance, and scarcity of contextually rich learning materials. Student responses are broadly positive, marked by higher participation, increased empathy, and improved cross-background collaboration, suggesting early prejudice reduction. Overall, the strategies are effective yet variably implemented across teachers and bounded by institutional constraints, indicating the need for sustained support to consolidate outcomes
The Creative Thinking Process of Students with Adversity Quotient Personality and Metacognition Level in Solving Open-Ended Problems Reviewed from the Information Processing Theory
The issue of creative thinking encompasses various contexts, including those about Adversity Quotient students, necessitating further elucidation of the problem to ascertain students' metacognitive levels. This research constitutes a qualitative descriptive exploratory study aimed at delineating the creative thinking process of students, with a focus on students' Adversity Quotient and metacognition levels, as examined through the lens of information processing theories. The study participants were 29 students from the 11th grade of SMA. The research methodology involved administering tests to students, with subsequent analysis of the results utilizing the exploratory descriptive method, wherein the researcher categorized students based on their Adversity Quotient and metacognition levels. Data collection in this study employed instruments in the form of open-ended questions and interview guidelines. Initial test results revealed that seven students could provide comprehensive answers to the questions, nine offered partial responses, and 13 did not respond. Further analysis of the test results indicated that one subject classified as the "climbers" type exhibited the reflective use level of metacognition, one subject of the "campers" type demonstrated the semi-reflective use level of metacognition, and one subject of the "quitters" type displayed the tacit use level of metacognition
The Role of Brand Image Mediation on Motivation and Word-of-Mouth on Study Decisions: A Study of Indonesian Diaspora Students in South Korea
The growing interest in international education and bold learning, particularly among the diaspora community, raises questions about the factors influencing learning decisions. This study examines the role of brand image as a mediator between motivation, word of mouth, and study decisions in Indonesian diaspora students enrolled in the Online Korean language program. The quantitative approach was used through an online survey involving 59 Indonesian students at Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS), South Korea. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The study results show that motivation positively affects brand image and indirectly influences learning decisions through brand image. In contrast, word of mouth has a significant but negative direct influence on learning decisions and does not significantly affect brand image. These findings confirm that brand image plays an important role as a mediator and needs to be managed strategically to optimize motivation into registration decisions, especially in the face of negative word-of-mouth narratives. This research provides practical implications for universities in designing more effective branding and communication strategies to attract diaspora learners in the context of bold education
Rhetorical Move Metode Riset dalam Artikel Ilmiah Berbahasa Arab: Perbandingan Penulis Arab dan Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the rhetorical structure of the methodology section in Arabic-language scientific articles written by native Arabic speakers and Indonesian speakers, particularly in linguistics and education. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, the study applies Zhang and Wannaruk’s (2016) Move and Step framework to identify rhetorical patterns and examine the use of tense and voice in the methodology section. The data were obtained from 80 journal articles—40 in education and 40 in linguistics—equally divided between Arab and Indonesian authors, selected through purposive sampling. The findings show that Move 2 (describing data collection procedures) is the most dominant (56.9%), indicating that the majority of authors place greater emphasis on technical and procedural aspects rather than research design (Move 1: 19.5%) or data analysis procedures (Move 3: 23.5%). Indonesian authors focus more on Move 2 (62.7%) than Arab authors (51.7%), while Arab authors demonstrate a more balanced structure across the three Moves. From a linguistic perspective, it was found that the use of Māḍi (past tense) is more dominant than Muḍāri’(present tense), especially in Moves 1 and 2, as these parts describe processes already carried out. Active voice is more frequently used in Moves 1 and 2, while passive voice is more dominant in Move 3 to maintain objectivity rather than emphasize the researcher’s role

Moreover, these techniques effectively serve as a psychological bridge from the rigorous pesantren routine to the more interactive and dialogical demands of university learning. These results are supported by humanistic learning theories and motivational frameworks, which emphasize the importance of emotionally supportive learning environments. The study recommends the systematic integration of ice breaking activities into higher education learning strategies, particularly in pesantren-based institutions, to foster more humanistic, participatory, and adaptive learning setting
Representasi Kecerdasan Buatan Dalam Iklan Marjan Edisi 1446 Hijriah (Youtube Marjanbudoin)
Digital advertising has become a strategic promotional medium. Marjan, a renowned syrup brand, is known for its innovative ads, such as the 2025 Ramadan edition titled Bangkitnya Calon Arang. This advertisement highlights the issue of runaway artificial intelligence in the future, making it a compelling subject for study. The purpose of this research is to analyze the representation of artificial intelligence in the ad using Roland Barthes semiotic approach. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through non-participant observation and visual documentation. The analysis results show that artificial intelligence is represented through two myths. Initially, artificial intelligence is depicted as a harbinger of civilizational progress, forming the myth of a future dominated by high technology. However, when it spirals out of control, the representation shifts to a destructive force, creating the myth of artificial intelligence as a ruler that robs humanity. The climax of the ad asserts the myth of humanity's victory over oppressive technology, symbolized by the power of a mother's prayer. In conclusion, Marjan's ad successfully presents a complex narrative about the potential of artificial intelligence while prioritizing the value of humanity
