This study explores the roles of government, educational organizations, and the community in enhancing AI's understanding and ethical implementation. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through a survey of 300 respondents, in-depth interviews with 15 officials and representatives from educational organizations, and focus group discussions with 30 participants. Community involvement in education-based programs has effectively reduced the negative stigma associated with AI. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to create a supportive environment for AI implementation. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective policies and educational programs related to AI in the future

This study examines the role of PPAT and Notaries in the digital transformation of land certificates in Gunungkidul Regency, triggered by the issuance of Minister of ATR/Ka BPN Regulation No. 1 of 2021 on Electronic Certificates. The regulation's implementation is phased and has not been uniformly applied across Indonesia, including in Gunungkidul Regency. The study aims to explore the urgency of PPAT and Notaries' roles, obstacles encountered in the digital transformation process, and its implications from a State Administrative Law perspective. Using a combination of normative and empirical legal methods, the research employed qualitative descriptive analysis and normative analysis techniques. Data collection was conducted at the Wonosari District PPAT Office, the INI Wonosari Office, and the ATR/BPN Gunungkidul Regency Office. The findings highlight that PPAT and Notaries play essential roles in electronic certificate verification, electronic processing, creation of land zoning files, and land registration. Electronic certificates enhance data security, validity, and prevent duplication or forgery. However, obstacles such as limited human resource competence, inadequate office infrastructure, unintegrated data, and the need for document formalization hinder optimal implementation. External challenges include public unfamiliarity with digital technology and device ownership limitations. From the perspective of State Administrative Law, PPAT and Notarial deeds are formalized under civil law, not public law, and are not classified as unilateral acts (beschikking). This is confirmed by court decisions, including Decision No. 22/PUT.TUN/1993/PTUN.SBY and Decision No. 34 PK/TUN/2001, which clarify that such deeds cannot be disputed in State Administrative Cour

    Get PDF
In the fiercely competitive fast-food industry, building strong brand equity is crucial for long-term success. This study investigates the effects of brand trust, brand image, and perceived quality on brand equity, while also examining the mediating role of brand loyalty in these relationships within the context of fast-food restaurants. Employing a quantitative, descriptive, and correlational research design, this study explores the interrelationships among these variables. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 175 regular customers of fast-food restaurants in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS statistical software. The findings reveal that brand image and perceived quality are the primary determinants of brand equity, exerting both direct and indirect effects through the mediating role of brand loyalty. However, brand trust does not significantly influence either brand loyalty or brand equity. The study’s focus on a specific geographic region limits the generalizability of the findings to a broader population. Furthermore, the measurement instruments employed may not comprehensively capture the emotional and functional dimensions of brand trust, which could affect the validity of the results. This study contributes to the field of brand management and the fast-food industry by providing insights into the critical factors shaping brand equity. The findings offer valuable implications for both academics and practitioners seeking to enhance brand equity through strategic brand management initiatives

Strengthening Democracy through Campus: The Influence of Education on Student Political Participation

    Get PDF
This study investigates the impact of democratic education on student engagement in Indonesia’s 2024 General Elections. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 250 students across five universities to examine their understanding of democratic concepts, perceptions of democratic education, and political participation. The findings indicate a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.412, p < 0.001) between democratic education and political engagement. While students exhibit strong foundational knowledge of democracy, their procedural understanding—such as knowledge of institutional mechanisms and electoral processes—remains limited. The study highlights the need for higher education institutions to adopt application-based approaches to democratic education, including electoral simulations, public debates, and advocacy training, to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. By fostering informed and active political participation, such programs hold the potential to strengthen democratic resilience in Indonesia and other developing democracies. This research contributes to the global discourse on democratic education by providing empirical evidence from a developing country context. Future research should integrate qualitative methods and explore the role of social and institutional factors in shaping political engagement for a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics between education and democracy
