La sédimentation détritique au tertiaire dans le Bas-Dauphiné et les régions limitrophes
No full textBas-Dauphiné, Vercors and Southern Chartreuse the detritical tertiary deposits are the subject of a sedimentologic research. The granulometric distribution of the sands, the nature and the distribution of the principal heavy minerais underline the primordial role played by the alpin contributions to fIlling up the sedimentary basin. The comparison between these deposits and those from the molass Swiss basin allows to show clearly the progressive appearance in time and from the north Southwards of the main detritical alpin elements in the northern part of the rhodanin basinLes dépôts détritiques tertiaires du Bas-Dauphiné, du Vercors et du S de la Chartreuse font l'objet d'une étude sédimentologique. La répartition granulométrique des sables, la nature et la répartition des principaux minéraux lourds soulignent le rôle primordial joué par les apports alpins dans le remplissage du bassin sédimentaire. La comparaison entre ces dépôts et ceux du bassin molassique suisse permet de mettre en évidence l'apparition progressive dans le temps et du Nord vers le Sud des principaux éléments détritiques alpins dans la partie septentrionale du bassin rhodanie
