Dissecting Broadcast Media Advocacy Campaign against Child Trafficking Menace: The Trends and its Implications for Edo State, Nigeria
This study examines media advocacy campaigns against child trafficking in Nigeria. The researcher undertook this study with the intention of achieving three objectives; based on these objectives, three research questions were formulated to guide the study. The study was anchored on the social responsibility theory and supported by the agenda-setting theory. The survey method was deemed appropriate for this study. Findings from this study indicate that the broadcast media create awareness about child trafficking in Nigeria; additionally, the media educate people on the dangers of child trafficking and guide public discourse on the topic. Findings also reveal that the broadcast media are highly effective in the campaign against child trafficking in Nigeria. This study recommends that the broadcast media should increase awareness by making stories on child trafficking more prominent. There should be commentary, phone-in programs, interviews, discussions, and other formats on radio and television focused on child trafficking and potential solutions. The broadcast media should also strengthen the fight against trafficking by including a segment in their programs where trafficked victims can share their experiences
Support Systems, Challenges, and Coping Mechanisms of Volunteer Teachers in Elementary Schools of North District, Bayugan City Division
This study investigated the support systems, challenges, and coping mechanisms of volunteer teachers in elementary schools within the North District of Bayugan City Division, Philippines. Employing a phenomenological research design, the study explored the lived experiences of these teachers through interviews. The research aimed to understand the motivations behind their volunteerism, the difficulties they encountered, the coping strategies they utilized, and the support systems available to them. The findings revealed that volunteer teachers faced various challenges, including limited resources, lack of adequate support, and emotional strain. To navigate these challenges, they employed a range of coping mechanisms, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness. Support systems, while often informal, played a crucial role in providing emotional and practical assistance. The study also highlighted the need for more structured support and resources to enhance the experiences and contributions of these teachers. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of volunteerism in education within resource-constrained settings and informs the development of targeted support programs for volunteer teachers in the Philippines

The Impact of Linguistic Imperialism on Indigenous Languages in Iraq: A Case Study of Language Policy and Preservation
The present study looked into the effects of linguistic imperialism, specifically, the dominance of English, on the preservation and revitalization of indigenous languages in Iraq. Tapping into a phenomenological study, using interviews, the study recruited 30 students enrolled at a university in Baghdad, majoring in different fields of study. Half of the participants were Assyrian and half were Armenian native speakers, with an age range of 20-22 years old and equal numbers of male and female. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data through open, axial, and selective coding. The linguistic imperialism has impacted Assyrian and Armenian languages in Iraq in a very complex manner. These villages are resistant, and through different cultural activities or family traditions, they try to keep their languages alive; however, the prevalence of English in schools makes the young generation feel displaced. This is the pressure that makes them give more importance to English, leading to lesser exposure and fluency in Assyrian and Armenian-especially now, when the education system is giving more emphasis to English, besides Arabic. The given study underlines urgent policy changes to be made for the promotion and support of indigenous languages in Iraq. The current policies need a re-evaluation in order to keep the life preserved, which gives priority to Arabic and English. Inclusion of indigenous languages into education, resource allocation for learning a language, and the use of social media for revitalization are the crucial steps toward preserving these treasures
Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices of Araling Panlipunan Teachers Towards Reflective Approach: An Input for Learning Action Cell
As online, blended, and face-to-face instruction modalities are getting more popular, reflective approaches to instruction could improve learning outcomes in the Philippines. This shift demands that educational approaches be critically reevaluated. Enhancing the quality of instruction in the Araling Panlipunan subject requires an understanding of teachers' reflective approach-related knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP). Offering insights into current use in the Philippine educational setting, this study examines the KAP of Araling Panlipunan teachers toward reflective teaching. Using a sequential mixed-methods research design, the study first collected quantitative data via questionnaires, then collected qualitative data from 50 teacher respondents through semi-structured interviews. The results show a "Very High" degree of knowledge and a positive attitude toward reflective approaches, especially in debates and essays. The curriculum's focus on material, however, limits opportunities for critical thinking, making it difficult for students to use these methods effectively. The suggested Learning Action Cell (LAC) programs seek to improve teacher skills through collaborative problem-solving, sharing of knowledge, and training to address these challenges. According to the study, professional development and resource allocation can greatly enhance teaching quality by incorporating workshops focused on reflective teaching and encouraging peer support, which would ultimately promote student learning and teacher development
Deconstruction and Reconstruction of Femininity in Macbeth from the Perspective of Androgyny
Woolf’s theory of the "androgynous mind," Freud’s concept of "repetition compulsion," and Foucault’s theory of disciplinary power together illuminate the deeper causes of Lady Macbeth’s tragic fate in Macbeth. In her attempt to transcend traditional gender roles, Lady Macbeth represses her feminine ethical traits and excessively amplifies masculine qualities such as cruelty and decisiveness. This imbalance in gender characteristics leads to intense inner conflict. At the same time, the internalization of social disciplinary power infiltrates her thoughts and behaviors, distorting her understanding of power and identity. As a result, she becomes both a replication of patriarchal logic and a victim of psychological collapse due to her inability to escape gender constraints. The interplay between psychological structure and social discipline reveals the multilayered roots of her tragedy, offering a new theoretical perspective for gender criticism of Shakespeare’s female characters

Demographic Characteristics, Perfectionism, and Productivity Among Certified Public Accountants
This study examined perfectionism as a predictor of productivity among Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in Cavite. A total of 102 licensed CPAs participated, representing diverse demographics in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, years of experience, employment sector, and organizational position. Using a researcher-made survey questionnaire, data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression. Findings revealed that participants exhibited a high level of adaptive perfectionism (M = 4.540, SD = 0.507) and a neutral level of maladaptive perfectionism (M = 3.072, SD = 0.835). Productivity across five dimensions—task completion efficiency, accuracy in financial reporting, workload management, meeting deadlines, and adaptability to work demands—was consistently high. Correlation analysis showed that age, educational background, and years of experience were significantly related to productivity, while sex, civil status, type of employment, and position were not. Adaptive perfectionism was positively and significantly correlated with productivity (ρ = .427, p < .001) and emerged as the only significant predictor in regression analysis (B = 0.234, β = .281, p = .015). Maladaptive perfectionism demonstrated no significant relationship. These findings validate the Achievement Goal Theory and Cognitive Appraisal Theory, affirming that adaptive perfectionism—when characterized by high personal standards, motivation, and resilience—serves as a critical driver of productivity in the accounting profession

Critical Stylistic Analysis of Naming and Describing of Selected Media News
This study employs Jeffries’ (2010) critical stylistics framework, focusing on the linguistic tool of "naming and describing," to analyze how media outlets construct ideological narratives in their coverage of sensitive political conflicts, specifically those involving Palestine and Lebanon. By examining selected news samples from two prominent Arabic-language channels, Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya, which hold contrasting political alignments, the research investigates how lexical and descriptive choices reflect their ideological orientations. The findings reveal how media language subtly shapes public opinion and constructs social realities, highlighting the role of linguistic strategies in framing political events
