THE INFLUENCE OF STATE CAPITAL PARTICIPATION, STRATEGIC ORIENTATION, AND ACCOUNTABILITY ON THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES: A PANEL DATA FEM ANALYSIS (2021–2024)
This study aims to analyze the influence of State Capital Participation (PMN), strategic orientation, accountability, good corporate governance (GCG), and risk management on the financial performance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia during the 2021–2024 period. Using a quantitative approach with panel data and the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), the research involved 62 SOEs with a total of 217 observations. The results show that, simultaneously, the five independent variables significantly affect financial performance as measured by net profit after tax. However, individually, none of the variables show a statistically significant impact. These findings suggest that PMN and internal strategies have not yet delivered direct short-term improvements in profitability, likely due to external factors such as government intervention, long-term projects, and post-pandemic economic conditions. Furthermore, the implementation of GCG, accountability, and risk management tends to have long-term effects that are not immediately reflected in financial outcomes. This study contributes to the understanding of how structural and strategic factors interact in shaping SOE performance and recommends that policymakers and SOE leaders enhance coordination between fiscal support and internal governance reforms to achieve sustainable financial outcomes

THE ROLE OF CASH HOLDING, CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND OPERATING CAPACITY ON FINANCIAL DISTRESS WITH CASH FLOW AS A MODERATING VARIABLE
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of cash holding, corporate social responsibility and operating capacity on financial distress with cash flow as a moderating variable. The subject of this study is manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Sharia stock index for the period 2020 to 2023. The data collection method uses a purposive sampling technique, so that a sample of 35 companies was obtained with a total of 140 studies. This study uses secondary data with a quantitative approach and the data is analyzed by Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of Eviews software version 12. The theoretical basis used in this study is Signaling Theory. The results showed that cash holding had a significant negative effect on financial distress, while corporate social responsiveness and operating capacity did not have a significant effect on financial distress. Then, the results of the study also show that cash flow as a moderation variable is able to strengthen the influence of cash holding on financial distress. Cash flow as a moderation variable is not able to strengthen the influence of corporate social responsiveness on financial distress. Cash flow as a moderation variable is not able to strengthen the influence of operating capacity on financial distress
Analyzing Poverty Across Indonesian Provinces Using Panel Data Regression
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty levels in provinces in Indonesia using panel data regression. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data used includes variables such as provincial poverty rate (TKP), gross regional product per capita (PPK), open unemployment rate (TPT), and average length of schooling (RLS). The results of the analysis show that the fixed effect model is the most appropriate model for this data, as confirmed by the Chow test and the Hausman test. RLS has a negative and significant effect on poverty rates, indicating that increased education correlates with a decrease in poverty. Meanwhile, TPT has a positive but insignificant effect at the 5% level, although it is close to significant at the 10% level. This suggests that increased unemployment tends to increase poverty. PPK has a negative but insignificant effect on poverty levels, reflecting the phenomenon of “growth without justice” where the benefits of growth are not felt equally by all segments of society. This model has a very high level of suitability, with an R-squared value of 0.996810, which means that 99.68% of the variation in poverty levels can be explained by the independent variable
The Relationship Between Granger Causality Analysis and Indonesian Trade and Economic Growth.
These findings confirm that the contribution of domestic assets to economic growth is relatively limited, which is in line with the literature that emphasizes the more dominant role of foreign direct investment, household consumption, and fiscal and monetary policies in influencing the Indonesian economy. Second, the causality test on foreign assets also shows similar results, namely that economic growth has not been proven to affect changes in foreign assets, and vice versa. Based on the findings of this study, the recommendation for the government is to implement economic development policies that are more focused on strengthening the domestic foundation, particularly by encouraging productive investment, increasing the competitiveness of the real sector, and strengthening household consumption, which has been proven to be more significant in driving economic growt
THE INFLUENCE OF SHARIA ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS ON THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF ISLAMIC FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS: THE MEDIATING ROLE OF CUSTOMER TRUST AND COMPLIANCE
This study examines the influence of Sharia Accounting Information System (SAIS) quality on the financial performance of Islamic financial institutions, considering customer trust and Sharia compliance as mediating variables. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from respondents representing managers, accounting staff, internal auditors, and active customers of Islamic financial institutions across Indonesia. The data were analyzed using SEM–PLS. The results demonstrate that SAIS quality positively and significantly affects financial performance, both directly and indirectly, through the mediating roles of customer trust and Sharia compliance. High-quality SAIS enhances information accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and integrity, thereby improving transparency, operational efficiency, and compliance with Islamic principles. Furthermore, customer trust strengthens institutional credibility, while adherence to Sharia principles reinforces ethical governance and social legitimacy, ultimately driving financial sustainability. This study contributes to the literature by integrating technological and spiritual dimensions into the Islamic financial performance model. It also extends the DeLone and McLean Information System Success framework by embedding faith-based constructs. The findings also provide practical insights for managers and regulators to improve digital governance and reinforce Sharia-compliant information systems in achieving competitive advantage and sustainable performance within the Islamic finance industry

ANALYSIS OF EARNINGS GROWTH AND DIVIDENDS ON STOCK RETURNS
Investors need information to help make the right investment decisions. One of the considerations for investors to make investment decision in a company is the company's stock return and thus, investors do need to know the variables that can affect stock returns. For this reason, this study was conducted with the aim of determining whether earnings growth and dividends have a significant effect on stock returns. This study utilizes secondary data from financial sector companies whose shares are traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the Covid 19 pandemic, namely from 2019 to 2021. The results of data sorting using the purposive sampling method obtained 59 financial sector companies that met the requirements in this study. Using multiple linear regression tests, the results of the study found that earnings growth had an effect on stock returns, while dividends were found have no effect on stock returns. These results provide input that can be used by further research and investment in making the right investment decisions
Provincial Economic Convergence in Post-Decentralization Indonesia: A Panel Analysis from 2000 to 2022
This study examines the dynamics of economic convergence across Indonesian provinces during the period 2000–2022 by employing β-convergence, σ-convergence, and the Williamson Index. Provincial GDP per capita at constant 2010 prices is analyzed within a panel data framework. The results indicate significant β-convergence, implying that provinces with lower per capita income have grown faster than wealthier provinces. The σ-convergence analysis reveals a long-term decline in income dispersion across provinces, although temporary fluctuations occurred during the global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. The Williamson Index also exhibits a downward trend, indicating a more equal distribution of income among provinces. These findings suggest that fiscal decentralization and infrastructure development have contributed to reducing regional inequality, although the convergence process has been relatively moderat
