Teacher questioning and interaction patterns in classrooms facilitated with differing levels of constructivist teaching practices
This research investigated the impact of teacher questions, question types, and interaction patterns that coincide with high and low levels of constructivist teaching practices. Through both quantitative and qualitative methods the findings revealed that teachers facilitating classrooms with high levels of constructivist teaching practices (HLCTP) were very active as they asked a significantly greater number of questions compared to teachers facilitating classrooms with low levels of constructivists teaching practices (LLCTP). In addition, teachers facilitating with HLCTP used a significantly greater number of open-ended questions when compared with other types of questions (closed-ended questions and task-oriented questions). Closed-ended questions were found in the HLCTP classrooms as teachers were concerned with focusing students on completing investigations, but open-ended questions were more often found with the aim of promoting student actions attuned to knowledge construction
An Initial Experiment Preceding the Second Constitutional Era: The Iranian Constitutional Movement and its Reasons (1906)
İran’daki Türk boylarından olan Kaçarların iktidarda olduğu dönemde ilan edilen meşrutiyetin sebepleri ve ilan şekline bakıldığında II. Meşrutiyet ile benzerlik arzettiği görülecektir. Bu sebeple, İran Meşrutiyetini bir ön deneme olarak görmek mümkündür. Osmanlı Devleti’ndeki II. Meşrutiyeti daha iyi tahlil etmek için iki yıl önce Kaçar idaresi tarafından ilan edilen Meşrutiyeti ve İngiltere’nin bu harekete doğrudan müdahalesini ortaya koymak gerekir. İktidardaki Kaçar idaresinin siyasi olarak yıpratılması, ekonomik nüfuzun tesisi ve iç karışıklığın oluşturulmasından sonra bazı gizli teşkilat ve şahıslar ön saflara sürülerek amaca ulaşılmıştır. Bu dönemde İran’da Türklerin iktidarda olması, II. Abdulhamid’in muhtemel Türk-İslAm birliği düşüncesinin başlamadan sona erdirilmesini hatırlatmaktadır. Çünkü her iki ülkede ilan edilen meşrutiyetler ne fakirleşmiş halka refah, ne de aydın ve ulemanın istediği adaleti getirmiştir. Kurtarıcı olarak beklenilen demokratik rejim yerine kendi içerisinde birliği sağlamayan siyasî idareler tesis edilmiştir.It is possible to argue that the reasons leading to the Iranian Constitutional Movement during the Kacar dynasty and the eventual declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy bear a resemblance to the Second Constitutional Monarchy in the Ottoman State. That is why the Iranian Constitutional Movement can be regarded as an initial experiment preceding the Second Constitutional Era. In order to gain a better understanding of the Second Constitutional Era, it is necessary to look into the Constitutional Monarchy declared in Iran two years before and to assess England's direct intervention in this movement. After undermining the state administration, establishing economical ascendancy and generating political upheaval, the English reached their goals by driving certain secret services and figures to the front line. During these times a Turkish dynasty was governing Iran, and a potential Turkish-Islamic association planned by Abdulhamid II had to end before it even started. Effects of Family Related Factors on Social Behavior Problems of Six Years Old Children
Bu araştırmanın amacı, altı yaşındaki anasınıfı öğrencilerinin sosyal davranış problemleri üzerinde ailesel faktörlerin etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Muş Merkez İlçedeki ilköğretim okullarının anasınıfları; örneklemini ise bu okulların dördünde bulunan altı yaşındaki 110 anasınıfı öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada bilgi toplama aracı olarak Sosyal Beceri Değerlendirme Sistemi Davranış Problemi Bölümü Öğretmen Formu (SBDS/DP-ÖF) kullanılmıştır. Öğretmen gözlemine dayalı olan bu ölçeğin, bu araştırma kapsamında geçerlik ve güvenilirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çözümlenmesinde yüzde, frekans, t-testi ve tek faktörlü ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre; sosyal davranış problemleri cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı, annenin çalışma durumu ve ailenin sosyo-ekonomik durumuna göre anlamlı farklılıklar göstermiştir. Alt faktörler incelendiğinde ise içselleşmiş davranış problemleri annenin çalışma durumu ve kardeş sayısına; dışsallaşmış davranış problemleri de cinsiyet ve kardeş sayısına göre farklılık göstermiştir.The purpose of this study was to examine effects family related factors on social behavior problems of six year old children. Study group was 110 six years old children from preschool classes in Muş. Data were collected by using Social Skills Rating System (SSRS) Behavior Problem Teacher Form scale. This scale's validity and reliability study for adaptation to Turkish was performed by researcher. Data were tabulated by using frequencies, percentages and mean, and effects of family related factors on social behavior problems were examined by using one way ANOVA and t-test. Results indicated that social behavior problems significantly varied by gender, parents' employment status, number of siblings and socio-economic status. However, no significant differences were observed in social problem behaviors by family size, parents' education status and birth order. For subscales of the SSRS/PB scale's results, significant differences were found in internalized problem behaviors by parents' employment and number of siblings. Significant differences were also found in externalized problem behaviors by gender and number of siblings

High yielding electrophilic amination with lower order and higher order organocuprates: Application of acetone O-(4-Chlorophenylsulfonyl)oxime in the construction of the C-N bond at room temperature
Abstract
Electrophilic amination reaction was performed with lower order and higher order organocuprates using acetone O-(4-Chlorophenylsulfonyl)oxime (1). It was proceeded smoothly at room temperature in the presence of organocuprates to provide the corresponding primary amines in good yields with 10 and 60 min, respectively. The primary amine yields of the electrophilic amination of bromomagnesium organocyanocuprates and dibromomagnesium diorganocyanocuprates were obtained 52-72% and 58-83%, respectively. We observed that higher order organocuprates were more successful than lower order organocuprates in the synthesis of functionalized arylamines by electrophilic amination
