The Impact of Agile Management Practices on the Organizational Innovation of UAE Firms
This study examines the impact of Agile management practices on organizational innovation in firms in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the UAE moving to a new economy, organizations are also diversifying the traditional software frameworks like Kanban, Scrum, and Design Thinking to improve flexibility and responsiveness and ensure continuity in enhancement. The study uses a mixed methods approach to examine the perceptions of Agile practices in the UAE context, measures of factors enablers and barriers to adopting Agile practices, and the effects of a shift towards the use of Agile on the organisation's innovativeness. Particular attention has been paid to surveys and interviews conducted during research operations, which provided statistics relating to the degree of influence of Agile on product and process innovation. The main findings indicate that using Agile methodologies encourages innovation and expands the target audience. Agile practices help to improve teamwork, the iterative design process, and the design of products for customers. Nevertheless, there are organizational solutions related to the values embedded in the UAE, such as the traditional hierarchy, bureaucracy and conservative attitudes towards regulatory control that can limit the use of Agile in its entirety. The findings of this study offer tactical guidelines to UAE firms who want to incorporate Agile strategies as enablers of sustaining competitive advantage and innovation goals. The insights are vital in ensuring effectively orchestrated changes in the current Nexus of Agile within the UAE business environment among policymakers and heads of corporations and organizations.

Developing IoT Sustainable Real-time Monitoring Devices for Food Supply Chain Systems based on Climate Change using Circular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set
Internet of Things (IoT) real-time monitoring devices,
which compromise sustainable sensing parameter-based climate
change, are developed to minimise food loss and waste to support
supply chain systems during natural disasters. Numerous studies
have shown that current IoT real time monitoring devices offer
remarkable prospects for future developments involving food
supply chain systems with sustainable sensing parameters.
Hence, modelling effective IoT real time monitoring devices to
minimise food loss and waste to support supply chain systems is
crucial during natural disasters. This modelling process can be
classified as multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM) given
three issues: the existence of multiple sensing parameter
attributes, the uncertainty related to the relative importance of
these attributes and the variability of data. The present study
endeavours to combine the fuzzy weighted with zero
inconsistency method and circular intuitionistic fuzzy sets (C
IFS-FWZIC) with a new additive ratio assessment (ARAS) to
determine ideal IoT real-time monitoring devices to minimise loss
and waste and support food supply chain systems during natural
disasters. The decision matrix for the study is built by
intersecting 54 IoT real-time monitoring devices with 10
sustainable sensing parameter attributes. The proposed method
is further developed to ascertain the importance level of the
sustainable sensing parameter attributes. These data are used in
ARAS. Sensitivity analysis and correlation coefficient test are
performed to assess the robustness of the proposed method
The Impact of Agility in Management in Higher Education Institutions: A Case Study in Dubai
Agility in organisational management is increasingly recognised as an essential factor for the success of educational institutions, particularly in the context of rapid changes in educational demands, such as the UAE's dynamic higher educational landscape. Several existing research studies have highlighted the gap and lack of studies that address the impact of the adoption of agility in management on UAE educational institutions. The main aim of this study is to explore the impact of adopting agility in organisational management within four higher educational institutions in Dubai, UAE. The following theories are adopted to serve as the theoretical framework for the study to facilitate coherence and a comprehensive understanding of the impact of adopting agility in organisational management within four higher educational institutions in Dubai: Resilience Theory in Education, Organisational Behaviour Theory, and Disaster Management Theory. The methodology for the study is based on a qualitative approach; this allowed for a better and more in-depth understanding of participants' experiences and views regarding adopting agility practices in management at their workplace. The data were obtained from three data collection methods: semi-structured interviews, group focus discussions, and document analysis from four Dubai academic institutions which are accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. Braun and Clarke's (2006) six-stage thematic analysis approach is adopted in this research study. The findings show that the impact of adopting agility in organisational management within the four higher academic institutions in Dubai is enhancing employees' response to changes, particularly during periods of pandemics or any other external forces, enhancing student services and retention, stimulating an agile mindset for employees to facilitate the transition from traditional management style to an agile one, fostering communication and collaboration among employees, providing flexible academic institutional policies and regulations that can be adjusted according to students’ demands, enhancing the academic institutional competition locally and globally and fostering an inclusive and diverse environment among employees in Dubai educational institutions. This study recommends conducting more studies on the impact of future emerging educational fields, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity (CS) programmes, on responding to students' demands in the dynamic higher educational landscape of Dubai's higher educational institutions. Several stakeholders, locally and globally, in the higher education sector could benefit from this research. University administrators and institutional leaders can adopt agile strategies to enhance their responsiveness to external challenges, such as policy changes, market shifts, and global disruptions. However, the study provides insights into how agile management enhances institutional performance, helping policymakers refine governance models and regulatory frameworks in the Ministry of Education (MoE). Moreover, faculty and educators in higher educational institutions in Dubai could integrate agile teaching methodologies, making learning experiences more flexible and student-centred. This is to improve the overall educational process in higher educational institutions in Dubai and other emirates of the UAE.

Factors Affecting Tourists’ Attitude and the Visit Intention Towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Non-Religious Tourism
Studying Saudi Arabia as a tourism destination is crucial due to its unique position as a pivotal site for both religious and non-religious tourism. While it has long been revered for its significance in religious tourism, the recent diversification into non-religious attractions highlights its emerging role as a versatile global destination, making a comprehensive analysis of these tourism dimensions increasingly important. This research investigated the impact of conative destination image, perceived security, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), and travel motivation on tourist attitude and the visit intention towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as a tourism destination. The study also examined the mediating role of tourist attitude and the moderating effects of demographic factors like age, gender, education, income, and religious orientation. A quantitative approach utilising surveys was employed to collect data from 536 tourists. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to analyse the relationships presented in conceptual framework integrating the Theory of Planned Behaviour and Self-Determination Theory. The findings revealed that conative destination image, perceived security, and motivations for relaxation and cultural exploration positively influenced tourist attitude, which in turn, positively affected the visit intention. However, e-WOM did not significantly impact attitude or intention. Tourist attitude mediated the relationships between the antecedent factors and the visit intention. Gender and religious orientation moderated the attitude–intention relationship, with women and Muslims exhibiting lower visit intention rates compared to men and non-Muslims, respectively. This research underscores the need for Saudi tourism authorities to strategically manage destination image, enhance safety and security, since KSA is politically stable and crime is the primary risk applicable. The research also addresses diverse travel motivations such as cultural exploration and relaxation. Key recommendations include refining marketing efforts, improving infrastructure, and implementing inclusive policies to attract a broader tourist demographic, particularly women and non-Muslims. By advancing theoretical insights into tourist decision-making, this study offers actionable guidance for effective destination marketing and policy development, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030’s tourism agenda.

Gifted Education Perceptions and Implementation of a Key Leader in a K-12 Private School in Dubai
The UAE has made significant strides in inclusive education, with gifted education gaining attention as part of the broader agenda for educational excellence. However, the implementation of gifted education by educational leaders faces numerous challenges, particularly due to inconsistent definitions and policies. This qualitative study explores the perceptions and implementation of a key inclusion leader in a private K-12 school in Dubai concerning gifted education. Through a semi-structured interview, the study investigates how giftedness is understood and how gifted education is implemented. The research addresses two questions: (1) What are the perceptions of a key inclusion leader regarding gifted education? (2) How is gifted education implemented within the school context? Thematic analysis reveals three key themes: perceptions of giftedness, implementation practices, and leadership challenges. The study finds that while the leader values gifted education and applies some strategies for its implementation, barriers such as limited resources, specialized knowledge, and parental expectations hinder the effective integration of gifted programs. The results point to a need for more structured identification processes, broader criteria for giftedness, and a shift towards distributed and inclusive leadership models to foster better support for gifted learners. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on gifted education in Dubai and offers insights for policymakers and educators working to enhance gifted education in the UAE’s inclusive educational framework
Investigating the Quality Combined Effect of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in Quality Management in Manufacturing Firms
The escalating demand for energy-efficient lighting solutions has propelled LED High Bay lights to the forefront of the lighting industry. However, ensuring product quality and reliability remains a critical challenge. This research delves into the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies to optimise the manufacturing process of LED High Bay lights within a Golf Country-based factory. The study aimed to identify and address the root causes of product defects, primarily focusing on electrical surge protection issues. Data were collected from various departments to analyse failure rates, customer complaints, and process inefficiencies. By employing tools such as flowcharts, fishbone diagrams, and statistical analysis, the research pinpointed the inadequate 4KV surge protection as a primary defect contributor. Implementing a 6KV surge protector for higher-wattage lights significantly reduced defect rates by 0.5%. This improvement led to decreased warranty claims, cost reductions, and enhanced product longevity, ultimately reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering high-quality products that exceed the customer's expectations. Such products need to be manufactured more often if companies want to survive in the Middle East as consumers will not settle for anything less. Refined production line layouts and automated key assembly stages alongside lean production principles are crucial to eliminate non-value activities. This can enhance the production of desired products in the companies. The findings underscore the efficacy of TQM and Six Sigma in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction within the lighting industry
