رسول اللہ ﷺ بحیثیت ماہر ومؤسس قانونِ جنگ: سیرت طیبہ اور آئی ایچ ایل کی روشنی میں ایک تحقیقی جائزہ: The Prophet (ﷺ) as an Expert and Founder of the Law of War: A Research Review in the Light of Sīrat Ṭayyibah and IHL
It is an undeniable truth that every aspect of Prophet Muḥammad’s (ﷺ) life serves as an everlasting source of guidance for humanity. Even after fourteen centuries and remarkable advancements in human civilization, the world has yet to achieve the unparalleled standard of humanity and ethics established by the Prophet (ﷺ). A compelling example of this can be found in the realm of warfare. While modern civilizations took nearly 150 years to formulate ethical principles and laws governing warfare, a closer examination of the Sīrah (the life of the Prophet (ﷺ) reveals that in just a decade, he introduced laws that were not only more comprehensive and humane but also deeply rooted in the principles of dignity and respect for humanity. Furthermore, these laws were not merely theoretical; the Prophet (ﷺ) implemented them practically, even as a powerful and victorious leader. In the modern era, the globally recognized framework for ethical conduct in warfare is known as International Humanitarian Law (IHL). These laws primarily aim to safeguard non-combatants, particularly vulnerable groups, civilian property, and individuals no longer participating in hostilities. This article seeks to demonstrate, through examples from the Sīrah, that Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) was not only a visionary in ethical warfare but also its true pioneer. By analyzing his life and actions in the light of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), it becomes evident that the principles formally established by 20th-century experts were, in fact, laid down over fourteen centuries ago by the Prophet (ﷺ). His teachings form the foundation of the ethical and humanitarian principles of warfare that continue to inspire and guide humanity today
اجتہاد الرسول ﷺ از نادیہ شریف العمری کا تعارفی مطالعہ: An Introductory Study of Ijtihad Al-Rasool ﷺ by Nadia Sharif Al-Omari
The biography of the Prophet ﷺ is a subject that has been extensively written about since the first century of Hijra, continues to be written about today, and will undoubtedly remain a topic of scholarly and devotional interest in the future. This subject holds religious, academic, historical, and contemporary significance, prompting Muslim scholars of every era to contribute to its exploration. Alongside men, women have also engaged in writing on this subject to express their devotion and love for the Prophet ﷺ. From ancient to modern times, women have played their part in this field, and while their contributions are fewer in comparison to men, their numbers are steadily increasing in modern times. Women have also explored various aspects of the Prophet's ﷺ biography in the Arabic language. One notable work in this context is "Ijtihad Al-Rasool" authored by Nadia Sharif Al-Omari. This book uniquely combines the principles of Islamic jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh) with the life of the Prophet ﷺ, analyzing whether the Prophet ﷺ engaged in ijtihad (independent reasoning). The author meticulously presents evidence supporting her conclusion that the Prophet ﷺ did indeed engage in ijtihad. This article provides a research-based and analytical study of her book. It begins by discussing the biographical details of the author, followed by an introduction to the book. Subsequently, the writing style of the author and the nuanced insights within her work are critically examined. Finally, the findings and recommendations of the study are presented.
عیون الاثرفی فنون المغازی والشمائل و السیر اور الدرر فی اختصار المغازی و السیر: ایک مختصر تقابلی جائزہ: Uyoon ul Asar Fi Funoon Al Maghazi, Wa Al Shamail Wa Al Siar & Al Durar Fi Ikhtisar Al Maghazi Wa Al Siar: A Short Comparative Analysis
Al Durar fi Ikhtisar Al Maghazi wa Al Siar is a primary source of Sirah, the Prophetic life. It was written by Ibn e Abdul Bar in the fifth century. This book is very important, and has always been under discussions in the scholarly works. However, there has been a new discussion by some recent writers about another scholarly work of Ibn e Syed Al Nas by the name of Uyoon ul Asar. It is being argued that the later work is a summary of the former. The current study is aimed at comparing both works and analyze this argument which is raised in the recent discussions. It concludes that this argument is not valid because the later is almost two times more than the former. Yes, it might be said that both books heavily relied on same resources like Sirah of Ibn e Ishaq and Kitab al Maghazi of Al Waqidi. Moreover, it is also a fact that work of Ibn e Abdul Bar was available to Ibn e Syed Al Nas
An Empirical Investigation of Dividend Policy Determinants in Pakistani Listed Companies: Insights from Agency Theory
This article employs empirical methods to study the reasons affecting the dividend policies of listed companies in Pakistan, revealing findings that contrast with those from foreign studies. While dividend policy is typically used abroad as a tool to mitigate agency costs, in Pakistan, it reflects that the current dividend policy is a product of unresolved agency problems. The unique shareholding structure and governance structure significantly impact the choice of dividend forms. The controlling shareholders of listed companies tend to transfer cash from the listed company through cash dividends; there is wastefulness in retaining funds within the listed companies through stock dividends, which does not maximize shareholder interests. Additionally, the size of the enterprise also significantly affects the choice of dividend form
Financial Inclusion Index for Pakistan from 2008 to 2022 using Three-Staged PCA Analysis
This study estimate Financial Inclusion Index (FI Index) for Pakistan over the period 2008 to 2022 applying three-stage Principal Component Analysis (PCA) technique. Financial inclusion (FI) has emerged as a vital component of sustainable development, aiming to provide access to affordable and functional financial services for all society. It plays a critical role in promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, and advancing financial stability. This research constructs a composite FI index by capturing both traditional and digital dimensions of financial inclusion. It incorporates access and usage components across various financial services. The study employs a multi-dimensional approach. It employs supply-side dimensions such as the number of bank branches, ATMs, and mobile subscriptions. The demand-side variables like account ownership, savings behavior, and mobile payment usage are considered. The PCA method facilitates the construction of separate sub-indices for traditional and digital financial inclusion. These are then combined to create a comprehensive FI index. Findings indicate significant progress in both traditional and digital financial inclusion in Pakistan. Though challenges remain in fully integrating underserved populations. The developed FI index provides insights into the evolution of financial inclusion. It contributes to policymaking aimed at encouraging inclusive financial systems and achieving broader economic development objectives
Patience for Social Cause: How Perceived Variables of Philanthropy Influence Consumer’s Patience During Delayed Delivery While Spiritual Satisfaction Mediates
The limitation of the resources is an undeniable truth, whether the resources are natural or unnatural, even inside the haven of the market or under the planet's surface. But for competitive advantages businesses must satisfy their consumers and must be able to meet their required needs. In the 21st Century the consumer wants fast and rapid delivery, although, for businesses, it may cost heavily. To overcome this issue the discount on delayed delivery has been used by businesses for years and still now that is an individualistic approach of benefit on both sides. The paper's objective is to give another solution to this problem with a centre on the social cause or good, not merely for the benefit of the individual or business. For this, the perceived variable of philanthropy (value, impact & trustworthiness) is examined to understand their influence on the patience of consumers on delayed delivery based on social exchange theory while the relationship of spiritual satisfaction mediates. The sample size of 384 respondents is collected online and the Smart PLS 4 structural equation modelling technique is applied to the hypotheses which are constructed by going through the existing literature. The results showed that the perceived value of philanthropy, perceived impact of philanthropy, and perceived trustworthiness of philanthropy positively influence the consumer to practice patience when delivery is delayed. Moreover, spiritual satisfaction only intervenes in the relationship between the perceived trustworthiness of philanthropy and the patience of consumers on delayed delivery. Furthermore, the paper gives the precautions to secure consumers from fraudulent businesses.

Every speech of the Last Prophet (Ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa Ālihi wa Sallam) has been preserved by the lovers of the Last Prophet ﷺ, and has been transmitted to us through research with evidence. That is why the completeness of the Sīrah of the Prophet ʿalayhi al-Ṣalātu wa al-Salām is free from all kinds of doubts. The aḥwāl-e-zindagī, routines, manners, moods, tendencies, movements, sittings and departures, and habits and thoughts of any great human being have not been described in such a perfect and detailed way as each part of the Prophet’s ﷺ biography has been recorded in written form. Just as every aspect of the Sīrah of the Prophet ʿalayhi al-Salām is evident to us in written form.
The name of Muftī ʿĪsā Khān Riḍawī is prominent in adapting the thought and services of Maulānā Aḥmad Razā Khān with modern writing styles. Maulānā Muftī ʿĪsā Khān received his education from Dār al-ʿUlūm Manẓar-e-Islām Bareilī, where he became a specialist
