Socialinio darbo kokybės dilema
Get PDFThe goal of the paper is to analyze the social work quality dilemma. The essence of the dilemma is the impossibility to set up the measurable standards for social work quality. There are several reasons for dilemma. The interest groups demand for different standards. The local context needs the adaptation to the specificity of location. Introducing business logic into social sphere rise conflicts. The complexity of social work action and quality. The author proposes three conditions under which the problem of social work dilemma can be solved.Straipsnyje analizuojama socialinio darbo profesijos ir kokybės dilema, kurios esmė yra ta, kad labai sunku nustatyti socialinio darbo kokybės matavimo kriterijus, arba vadinamuosius standartus. Kalbėjimą apie socialinio darbo kokybę apsprendžia Lietuvos konteksto ypatumai, verslo modelių taikymas socialinėje srityje, skirtingos interesų grupės, socialinio darbo veiklos sudėtingumas. Be to, pati kokybė gali apimti įvairius aspektus. Autorė pateikia tris sąlygas, kurios yra būtinos sprendžiant socialinio darbo kokybės dilemos problemą
DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL WORK AND CORE SUBJECTS OF SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION IN THREE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES
Get PDFThe goal of the paper is to analyse the development of social work profession and studies in three European countries: Greece, Germany and Lithuania. The comparative method is used. The objects of the analysis are: the origin of social work and its education, foundation of fist schools, and their creators, further development of education, levels and duration of social work education, credits system, the core subjects of studies, practical work and specializations. The findings show that there is a lot of in common, as well as different in the area of social work. Commonalities of social work development were related mostly to each country\u27s social, economical, political transformation that resulted in great changes in terms of the need of professional help and the acceptance of social work profession. Meanwhile differences mainly occurred when analysing the time of emergence of a particular stage and the rapidity of development. It was observed that commonalities in Germany, Greece and Lithuania lie mainly in core subjects of social work, importance of practical training, as well as in numerous specializations offered. Get PDFStraipsnyje kalbama apie skurdo Lietuvoje paplitimą, priežastis ir mažinimo būdus. Išskiriamos šios skurdo priežastys: nedarbas, neturima tinkamo išsilavinimo, žemos disponuojamos pajamos, neišvystyta infrastruktūra ir paslaugos ir informacijos trūkumas. Siekiant sumažinti skurdą yra naudojamos tos pačios priemonės kaip ir mieste taip ir kaime. Tačiau kaimo vietovių specifika reikalauja kitokio priėjimo ir atitinkamai kitokių skurdo mažinimo priemonių. Autorė išskiria šias specifines į kaimo vietoves nukreiptas skurdo mažinimo priemones: kaimo bendruomenės, socialinis verslas, kaimo turizmas, socialinės paslaugos, konsultavimas, informacijos teikimas, kaimo gyventojų švietimas. Nesprendžiant skurdo problemos didės emigracija, socialinė atskirtis, nepasitenkinimas gyvenimu, konfliktai šeimose ir senėjanti visuomenė
