In this paper, alternative methods to the Black-Scholes method of option pricing are given, yielding the latter as special case. The alternative methods are similar to the methods of insurance policies pricing in actuarial mathematics. The choice of the model that represents the changes of the price of the underlying exchange market is left open. Numerical examples are given and the proposed method is compared to the traditional Black-Scholes method. The resulting advantages are discussed

No full textΗ τελευταία διεύρυνση της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης δημιουργεί νέα
δεδομένα σε πολιτικό και οικονομικό επίπεδο. Στο οικονομικό επίπεδο
ο αγροτικός τομέας έχει ξεχωριστεί σημασία, λόγω των ιδιαιτεροτήτων
που παρουσιάζει. Η διεύρυνση της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης θα δημιουργήσει
σημαντικές αλλαγές στα βασικά μεγέθη του αγροτικού τομέα στην Ε.Ε.-25. Μέσα από αυτές τις αλλαγές και το νέο περιβάλλον
που δημιουργείται αλλάζει και η θέση του αγροτικού τομέα της Ελλάδας.
Στα νέα αυτά δεδομένα παρουσιάζονται πιο έντονα τα βασικά
του διαρθρωτικά προβλήματα. Τα προβλήματα αυτά θα λειτουργήσουν
σαν ανασταλτικός παράγοντας για την αξιοποίηση των θετικών
πλευρών της διεύρυνσης. Ταυτόχρονα τα ίδια προβλήματα σε πολλά
σημεία θα λειτουργήσουν σαν την αιτία για τις αρνητικές επιπτώσεις
της διεύρυνσης στον αγροτικό τομέα της Ελλάδας.The last enlargement of the European Union created new facts at a
political and economical leνel. At an economical leνel the agricultural
sector has a special meaning due to the structure it displays.
The enlargement of the European Union will create important changes
in the basic enormity of the agricultural sector in the European Union -25.
Through these changes and the new enνironment which has been created
the position of the agricultural sector in Greece also changes.
ln the new facts the basic structural problems are exposed much
more. These problems will work as a suspending factor for the

focus on the effects of the climatic changes on the tourism dynamics,
while we stress out the relation between the enνironment and tourism.
Our research is targeted on the island of Crete, as it constitutes one of
the most dynamic tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea.Η ανάπτυξη του τουρισμού στην Κρήτη επηρεάζεται από μία σειρά
περιβαλλοντολογικών παραμέτρων, όπως το φαινόμενο της παγκόσμιας
αύξησης της θερμοκρασίας. Σε αυτήν την εργασία επικεντρωνόμαστε
στα αποτελέσματα των κλιματολογικών αλλαγών στη δυναμική
του τουρισμού, ενώ τονίζουμε την σχέση ανάμεσα στο περιβάλλον και
τον τουρισμό. Η έρευνά μας επικεντρώνεται στο νησί της Κρήτης, μια

σε συνάρτηση με αυτής της παραγωγικότητας. Στο
πλαίσιο αυτό πραγματοποιείται μία σύντομη κριτική επισκόπηση θεωρητικών
προσεγγίσεων της Νέας Θεωρίας της Ενδογενούς Ανάπτυξης
και της Νέας Οικονομικής Γεωγραφίας, ενώ αποτιμάται η συμβολή
τους στην περιφερειακή οικονομική ανάπτυξη. Τέλος, εξετάζεται η
αξιοποίηση του θεσμού των δεσμών επιχειρήσεων και η σημασία της
γνώσης, ιδιαίτερα υπό το φως των νέων τάσεων στις πολιτικές περιφερειακής
ανάπτυξης στις χώρες του ΟΟΣΑ, όπου εξετάζεται η σημασία
της συγκέντρωσης της οικονομικής δραστηριότητας στην οικονομική
ανάπτυξη.The paper is an attempt to assess competitiveness in connection
with the productivity. In this frame a short critical review of economics
literature regarding the theoretical approaches of New Theory of
Endogenous Development and New Economic Geography is realised,
as well as their contribution in the regional economic development is
examined. Finally, the exploitation of cluster of companies and the
importance of knowledge is examined, especially under the light of
new tendencies in the policies of regional development in the countries
of OECD. The importance of agglomeration effects for economic

No full textIn this article I review the historical and philosophical underpinnings of reflection and problem/
enquiry-based learning (PBL/EBL). Consequently, I analyse and relate them to the delivery of the
nursing curriculum in higher education. From this analysis a series of confluences and contradictions
emerge between the two philosophies. Most importantly, an epistemological contradiction is
identified in the production, development and assessment of knowledge. Hence, this article
concludes to the assumption that reflective and PBL/EBL teaching strategies should not be
conflated and be regarded as similar teaching methods. Furthermore, it is argued that the reflective
epistemology of learning can seriously be devalued if these contradictions are not realized by nurse
educators. Lastly, it is concluded that nurse educators are required to position themselves with
regards to their preferred educational epistemology and accordingly deliver their modules. In this
way, the aims of each strategy will be best achieved in the nursing curriculum

καλλιέργεια συνειδήσεων , ώστε να απεγκλωβιστούν αμφότεροι (κοινωνία
και άτομο) από το σύνδρομο της ταύτισης με το κέρδος και την
υπερκατανάλωση, αλλά και την αδυναμία επαναπροσέγγισης της ηθικής
στην προοπτική του ανθρωπισμού , πράγμα απαραίτητο για την ανθρώπινη
κοινωνία του μέλλοντος.Modern social reality defines and is defined by a series of changes in
the way of thinking as well as in the way of practicing different
professions, mainly the ones that are placed on the higher ranks of the
social pyramid depending on social position and status. Haνing this
reality as a basis, it is necessary to take mutual progressive steps within
the social framework as well the individual himself / herself, regarding
the cultivation of consciousness. These steps should be taken in order
for both of them (society and the individual) to escape from the
syndrome of identifying with profit and over consumption along with
the weakness of re-approaching ethics in a humanistic perspective,
which is necessary for the future human society
