Artist's books: an exhibition hosted by Rare Books 28 September - 25 November 2011
The exhibition was held in the Rare Books Exhibition space, Sir Louis Matheson Library, Monash University from 28 September - 25 November 2011 Opening address given by Sarah Bodman, Senior Research Fellow for Artists' Books, Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR), University of the West of England. The Rare Books Collection hosted a display of Artists' books in conjunction with the international multi-disciplinary printmaking conference IMPACT7 2011 hosted by Monash University, Art & Design. The artists' books in this exhibition are created to reflect on political and social realities from several eras.

Cookbooks: the Sandy Michell collection: an exhibition of material from the Monash University Rare Books Collection 22 March - 31 Mat 2011
The exhibition was held in the Rare Books Exhibition space, Sir Louis Matheson Library, Monash University from 22 March - 31 May 2011 Opening address given by Rita Erlich, former editor, The Age Good Food Guide. This exhibition celebrates the gift of valuable seventeenth to nineteenth century French and English cookbooks made by Alexandra (Sandy) Michell, beginning in 1988. The collection has been further developed and expanded to include a fine collection of early Australian cookbooks, and a selection of twentieth century material

Catalogue of an exhibition held at SASA Gallery, Adelaide, 22 February-25 March 2011.The curatorial premise of the exhibition Vague Possibilities draws on the French curator and critic Nicholas Bourriaud's (1965-) ideas of Relational Aesthetics and Surrealist notions of chance and play. The five selected artists are invited to respond to a curatorial brief that includes developing artwork (installation, video and performances) for staging in the gallery that set up scenarios that engage the public and are likely to create surprising encounters and open up unexpected possibilities.Catalogue essay by external scholar: Dr Edward Colless.
