Slip is a reference to the slip casting process but also idea of slippage between the kitchen, bathroom and laboratory in the materials and aesthetics of these pieces. Glazed in the colours of old bathrooms; black, pink, buttery yellow, white and green, they continue Marcus’ interest in the strong links between memory and colour in the blurring and overlap between the domestic and industrial aesthetic."--Website.Artist: Donna Marcus Catalogue essay by Louise Martin-Chew
