The Religious and Historical Symbol in the Poetry of Buland Ai- Haidari
If literature is a kind of sophistical expression of the human feelings, emotions that run through the mind of the writer, expression thoughts, and human experience, for poetry is a branch of literature. It contains vision, ideas that poet presents in an artistic symbolic form, adopting a structur and style in his mind from those intellectual trends in a literary form. Our research uses the historical symbols as a scope to examine the history, religious in the poem of Buland, the way it is used, how the historical became a solid symbolic for him, identified with the historical, turning the poem into vision, aprophecy, dream, and connecting into unreality immanence. The research talked about the relationship of symbol and history, about the use of the symbol by the poet Buland, and his fame in this field, about the religious and historical characters, wheather they have positive or negative personalties, taking the symbol technique as an artistic framework, using it in a way it suits his personal experience, adds objectivity to his creative product, how he deals with that type of symbol, that religious and historical characters and that artistic and symbolic employment. This is what we will address in this study to explore the depth Bulands experience and reveal the sources of the poetic image in his poetic product, taking the descriptive and analytical approach as a line and curriculm that we follow. He has to interpret analyse poetic passages

Rhetorical Analysis of Engagement in Discussion Section of Doctoral Dissertations Written by Kurdish Native Speakers
Academic writing is commonly regarded as a means to facilitate communication between authors and readers. As a result, scholars are expected not only to present information about the external world through their texts but also to employ language to acknowledge, construct, and foster social connections. Textual engagement requires significant linguistic and cognitive effort, regardless of the writers’ backgrounds. It involves complex knowledge, skills, and familiarity with social practices, which require explicit teaching and time. Even native English speakers find it challenging to acquire the necessary academic skills and social practices of the academic setting due to the discursive nature of higher education. This study aimed to explore the level of engagement in the discussion sections of applied doctoral dissertations written by Kurdish native speakers. To achieve this objective, the researcher analyzed eight randomly selected doctoral dissertations in applied linguistics authored by Kurdish native speakers, employing Martin and White’s (2005) framework. The study identified each dialogic engagement resource’s frequency of occurrence and functions, providing explanations and examples. The findings indicated that the writers being studied utilized different dialogic resources for engaging in conversation with their potential audience. Additionally, they preferred to employ resources that fostered expansive dialogue more often than those that limited it, possibly to reduce the chances of encountering rejection or opposition
Influence of Maternal Body Mass Index on Fetal Ultrasound Biometry
The worldwide prevalence of obesity has increased almost multiple times in recent decades. This study aims to estimate and evaluate the correlation between the body mass index (BMI) of pregnant women and the weight as well as the biometric parameters of the fetus. In the present study, from 245 pregnant women who participated, 210 participants of pregnant women were enrolled in a private clinical center in Erbil Governorate in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The data were collected from December 2022 to September 2023. 210 participants were enrolled, and their ages ranged from 17 to 45 years, with a means ± SD of 30.89 ± 6.317 years, 17.1% of participant’s ages were <25 years, 52% were between 25 and 34 years, and 30% were 35 years and more. The relation between maternal BMI and fetal weight in grams for <2000, between 2000 and 3000, and more than 3000 g was statistically significant with a P = 0.027, while the association between maternal BMI and fetal gender statistically was not significant. According to our result in the present study, BMI was not statistically significant with fetal parameters. These findings show the relationship between the fetal weight and the mother’s BMI is statistically significant. However, there is no significant relationship between maternal age and all maternal BMI categories. In addition, in the third trimester of pregnancy, not all categories of the mother’s BMI have an impact on fetal biometry
The Effect of Task-based Language Teaching on Speaking Skill
The goal of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) is to assist learners in acquiring a subconscious understanding of the language, allowing them to engage effortlessly and spontaneously in communication. The present study aimed to investigate the students' attitudes towards the impact of group oral presentations on the improvement of their speaking skills. Specifically, it employed a task-based approach to teach technical English to second-year architectural engineering students at Cihan University-Erbil. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey questionnaire. The students' feedback revealed a positive attitude towards group oral presentations and their active participation in speaking activities. However, the teachers' observations indicated that there was no notable improvement in the students' pronunciation skills. They were unable to enhance the grammatical precision of their presentation either. Generally, this approach motivated them to take part in speaking activities more.

Vitamin D levels in Coronavirus-infected Individuals and its Correlation with Certain Hematological Markers
The world and nearly all our health care system were confronted by a significant threat which was declared by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Determining the SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19’s prognostic and modifiable measures surely would largely contribute to outcome improving despite the deficiency of causative therapy that affected nearly 200 million people, 3.5 million fatal incidences, and it is still airborne. The research in hand examined probable relations between the levels of vitamin D (VitD) and immunological markers. Hence, a sample of 200 lecturers and students from Cihan University-Erbil were assigned, (150 males, 50 females) whom ages were between 22 to 25, with some respondents were treated from a previous COVID-19 infection. The results showed that 98 (or 49%) of the 200 samples had Covid-19 infection. Males 60/98 had a greater prevalence rate (61%), whilst females 38/98 had a lower rate (39%). According to immunological ELISA results, every patient had positive IgG antibodies and negative IgM antibodies. Compared to the healthy group, the serum levels of IgE rose considerably in Covid-19 patients. However, when compared to the healthy group, the serum level of vitamin D3 in the Covid-19 recovered patients showed a considerable reduction. The mean results for hematological parameters indicated a non-significant increase in the number of red blood cells relative to the healthy group, but a significant increase in the WBC count, Hb concentration, and platelets. Thus, the result indicates the necessity for interventional studies on vitamin D supplementation in SARS-CoV-2 infected persons by showing a correlation between vitamin D deficit and WBC count during COVID-19 recovery
Molecular Analysis of Gram-Negative Bacterial Strains in Patients from Koya City: Implications for Diagnostic Approaches
This study addresses the critical issue of Gram-negative bacteria (GNB) in patients from Koya City, acknowledging their significant resistance to antibiotics and the consequent threat to public health. A total of 14 samples were collected from diverse patient demographics and sources, including urine, wounds, vaginal swabs, seminal fluid, and throat swabs. The samples were subjected to analysis through a multifaceted approach involving culturing and molecular identification. Following the isolation of bacterial samples, the 16SrRNA gene was targeted using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Subsequently, the obtained PCR products underwent Sanger sequencing, providing a detailed analysis of the nucleotide sequences. The resulting sequences were then compared against existing prokaryotic DNA sequences in the BLAST database to determine the identity of the isolated bacteria. Out of the 14 samples, 13 yielded sequences of good quality, while one exhibited a noise sequence. The sequences were further aligned, and 11 samples demonstrated a 100% identity with previously identified bacteria such as Escherichia coli (100 %), Klebsiella pneumoniae (100 %), and Shigella flexneri (100 %) Notably, two samples displayed a >99% identity with Escherichia coli (99.5%), highlighting the diversity within the bacterial strains. This study sheds light on the prevalence and identity of Gram-negative bacteria in Koya City patients. The findings underscore the necessity of molecular techniques, such as PCR and sequencing, in clinical diagnostics. The diverse bacterial strains identified highlight the complexity of bacterial infections, emphasizing the importance of targeted approaches in addressing antibiotic resistance
