The Boyd Conjecture
The Boyd Conjecture is that the amplitude of an elementary ray from the Theory of Elementary Waves (TEW) is the physical analog of a probability amplitude from Quantum Mechanics (QM). Boyd learned TEW from his cousin Lewis E. Little, who had said that quantum math is the roadmap to the world of elementary waves, but we did not know how to read the map. He suggested that Boyd, with a degree in mathematics, should work on deciphering the map. In 2014 Boyd began thinking that amplitudes are the core of QM, and elementary rays the core of TEW: perhaps they were equivalent. Electro Paramagnetic Resonance and Magnetization Measurements of Metal-Substituted Hydroxyapatites Used in Hyperthermia Applications
Pure and metal doped hydroxyapatite samples nano-particles were prepared by the wet chemical method. Copper and cobalt is used in doping hydroxyapatite. Sample was prepared without change in the stoichiometric ratio of Ca/P and Ca+M/P inside the structure of HA (M;metal). Sample was characterized by electron paramagnetic resonance, magnetization, transmission electron microscope and electron diffraction. Samples posses the highest value of magnetic susceptibility was chosen for more study to test their ability for application in the field of hyperthermia treatment of bone tumors. Magnetization curves were obtained for samples to study their behavior under the effect of magnetic field. The sample doped with copper and cobalt exhibited hysteresis loops which are characteristic for the magnetic materials. The samples were classified to be ferromagnetic material. Sample prepared by mixing Cu and co had the highest values of saturation magnetization (MS), area (A) enclosed within the hysteresis loop and magnetic anisotropy which represent an indicator of the energy generated in the material under the effect of magnetic field, and hence the amount of heat produced by the sample. TEM and EDP techniques were used to study the internal structure of these samples. The micrographs and the diffraction patterns showed and confirmed the presence of crystal structures within the samples. The particle size was calculated from the micrographs and found to be in the range of nanometer for all the selected samples
On PIXE Analysis of Medical Samples: Thalassemia & Wilson
The contents of six elements (Cl, K, Ca, Fe, Cu, Zn) for medical samples of 30 patients (15 with wilson's disease and 15 with Thalassemia's disease) were determined by proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) method. In analysis of these samples, abnormal contents of Cu for wilson's disease and of Fe for Thalassemia's disease were observed which shows that for these cases the situation of patient's illness is very serious
Effect of rapid Solidification on mechanical properties of free machining lead free aluminum alloys for improved machinability
There have been very few reports describing the free machining lead free aluminum alloys containing minimal amounts of tin and indium melt spun process. Our paper describes the effect of fundamental factors on the machinability of free machining lead free aluminum alloys rapidly solidified from melt. Structural and thermal properties have been investigated by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) techniques. Tensile test machine used in studies the mechanical properties such as ultimate tensile strength, elastic constants, yield strength and critical shear stress for Al-Zn-Sn-In alloys. It is noticed that mechanical and thermal properties attributed to fine grained structure, reduced levels of segregation and presence of new intermetallic compounds (IMC) such as AlZn and SnZn due to high casting rate by rapid solidification processes. The determination of mechanical properties was suggested to be attributed to the gradual increase of α-Al crystals. We evaluated the tensile properties using tensile test machine of the melt-spun ribbons at varied stress-strain rates to determine the underlying deformation mechanisms .Critical shear stress (CSS) was also calculated .It was found that it is equal to 9.29 GPa for annealed ribbons at 262 0C for 9 hrs. The results showed that several combination of tensile strength ,yield strength ,elastic moduli can be generated from Al- 0.1wt% Zn-1.5 wt% Sn- 1.63 wt% In alloys before and after heat treatment at (262 0C for 3,6,9 hrs) to meet the needs of free machining aluminum alloy applications.  
Corrosion Inhibition of Mild-Steel in (1M) HCl using Spands Reagent
The effect of Spands Reagent on the dissolution of Mild-steel in 1M HCl solution was studied using weight loss and galvanostatic polarization techniques. The inhibition efficiency of inhibitor increases with concentration to attain (75.26%) at concentration 1—10-2 M ,and standing time for 180 min at 25°C. Temperature effect on the corrosion behavior was studied at temperature range from 25-45°C, the results showed that inhibition efficiency decreased with increasing temperature to attain (64.53%) at concentration 1—10-2 M at 45°C and with standing time equal to 180 min. The effect of temperature on the rate of corrosion in the absence and presence of Spands Reagent was also studied. The Kinetic Parameters were calculated and discussed. The polarization curves revealed that the studied inhibitor represent a mixed type inhibitors. Adsorption of inhibitor was isotherm physisorption type
POROUS BASED IMMUNOSENSOR FOR DETECTION OF LDL MOLECULES FROM BLOOD SERUM USING ARRAY OF CANTILEVER BEAM
In this work, the NiO thin film based array of Cantilever structure for the detection of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is proposed. To detect the LDL molecules in the applied blood serum, the highly selective Anti-apolipoprotein B (AAB-100) act as the phosphate buffer solution (PBS) and it is coated at the tip of the porous NiO thin film based array of cantilever beam. The diffusion length and deflection of cantilever beam are analyzed for the different loads. Presence of five LDL molecules will make the displacement of 3.089e-4 μm. While the amount of LDL molecule is increased, the displacement also gets increased. Â
