Synthesis, Structure and Magnetic Characterization of Orthoferrite LaFeO3 Nanoparticles
Single-phase lanthanum orthoferrite (LaFeO3) was prepared by an auto-combustion method. The analysis of synchrotron room temperature X-ray diffraction (XRD) data confirmed the orthorhombic LaFeO3 perovskite of space group Pnma without any impurity phase. The Scherrer's formula and Williamson-Hall plot based on XRD data were employed to estimate the crystallite size of the prepared sample. For a deeper insight into the crystal structure, high-resolution transmission microscopy imaging (HRTEM) was performed. The estimated values of crystallite size from HRTEM and synchrotron XRD data were coincident. The HRTEM images confirmed the polycrystalline nature of the prepared sample through the obvious lattice planes which are related to (121) plane. Furthermore, the M(H) hysteresis loop of the investigated sample was characterized by a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The magnetic properties obtained through analyzing the magnetization versus temperature M(T) and magnetization versus magnetic field M(H) curves indicated that LaFeO3 possessed weak ferromagnetism at room temperature
Enrichment of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Biological Uses Through Sodium Chloride Filler, Density Functional Theory (DFT) Supported Experimental Study
Samples of pristine poly vinyl chloride (PVC) and other samples of the same matrix containing a variable amount of inorganic sodium salt (sodium chloride NaCl) were prepared via simple casting route in a dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solvent were prepared. Prepared samples were characterized via x-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometric measurements (FTIR) in combination with computational density functional theory approaches (DFT) into account for a detailed picture of the possible reaction mechanisms within the polymeric matrices. All measurements were performed on the possible basis set. Local density approximate (LDA) and generalized Goertzel algorithm (GGA) was also tested. A compatibility between computed and experimental results suggested that physical interaction was preferred in such matrix and nominate use of this new material to be used in the medical field as a result of dioxin illumination
Deterministic Mechanism of Irreversibility
The analytical review of the papers devoted to the deterministic mechanism of irreversibility (DMI) is presented. The history of solving of the irreversibility problem is briefly described. It is shown, how the DMI was found basing on the motion equation for a structured body. The structured body was given by a set of potentially interacting material points. The taking into account of the body’s structure led to the possibility of describing dissipative processes. This possibility caused by the transformation of the body’s motion energy into internal energy. It is shown, that the condition of holonomic constraints, which used for obtaining of the canonical formalisms of classical mechanics, is excluding the DMI in Hamiltonian systems. The concepts of D-entropy and evolutionary non-linearity are discussed. The connection between thermodynamics and the laws of classical mechanics is shown. Extended forms of the Lagrange, Hamilton, Liouville, and Schrödinger equations, which describe dissipative processes, are presented
On The Discrete Nature of The Gravitational Force
The standard model of particle physics has been extremely successful in unifying the strong, weak, and electromagnetic forces through the unitary product group SU(3) X SU(2) X U(1); and general relativity has been equally accurate in describing gravitation. No attempt thus far, however, has managed to incorporate general relativity into the standard model—or any other model. And while no attempt will, herein, be made to accomplish that endeavor, perhaps some of the insights will constitute a helpful step in that direction. In the following pages, gravitation and electromagnetism are looked at in new and different ways
Formation of Hierarchical 2D-Mos2 Nanostructures over Carbon Fabric as Binder Free Electrode Material for Supercapacitor Applications
Carbon fabrics are the new generation promising electrode materials for super capacitors owing to their high electrical conductivity, high chemical stability and low thermal expansion. In this work, 2D-MoS2 nanostructures have been successfully deposited over the commercially available carbon fabric by hydrothermal approach, using silicontungstic acid as an additive. MoS2 nanostructures – carbon fabric was broadly characterized using XRD, FESEM and Raman Spectroscopy. XRD patterns indicated that the fabricated MoS2 nanoparticles can be indexed to hexagonal (2H) and rhombohedral (3R) phases. FESEM images revealed the formation of hierarchical 2D MoS2 nanosheets arranged in a nanosphere like morphology over the carbon fabric. The electrochemical behavior of the MoS2 - carbon fabric and commercially available bare carbon fabric were studied using cyclic voltammetry analysis with different scan rates. The MoS2-carbon fabric exhibited an excellent electrochemical performance with a specific capacitance of 441 F/g at a scan rate of 10mV/s. The good cyclic behavior with symmetric charging/discharging curves, constant specific capacitance for longer scan rates, suggesting that the MoS2- carbon fabric electrode is a potential electrode material for high power applications
Physicochemical Parameters Of Effluents From A Lubricating Oil Company And Metal Analysis Of The Sediment Of The Receiving Stream In Osogbo Osun State, Nigeria
Effluent and its receiving sediment samples were collected on seasonal basis, comprising of three months (August to October, 2014) in the wet season and three months (December 2014 to February 2015) in the dry season. Five sampling points around the lubricating oil company were marked for the study. Physicochemical parameters of the effluent samples such as pH, temperature, conductivity, total dissolve solids were determined in situ. Dissolved oxygen and biochemical oxygen demand were determined by Winkler´s method. Digestion of the sediments was carried out by acid dissolution. The heavy metals (Mn, Ni, Co, Cd and Pb) level was determined using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results revealed that the physicochemical parameters ranged between (27.40 to 29.860C) for temperature, pH (6.89 to 7.88), electrical conductivity (92.27 to 292.84µs/cm), total dissolve solids, dissolved oxygen (2.58 to 7.01mg/L), biochemical oxygen demand (5.00 to 14.00mg/L) for the sampling periods. The overall total metal was in similar order: Mn > Ni > Co > Cd > Pb for both seasons. Most of the results were within the recommended limit required except for the levels of biochemical oxygen demand which exceeded the recommended value of 10mg/L in dry season by WHO, (2006). Statistically, no significant difference at p ≤ 0.05 between the parameters obtained in both seasons. The study concluded that the effluents discharged from the lubricating oil company in osogbo was polluted based on the results of biochemical oxygen demand and the Cd concentrations in the sediment samples.

Textiles Printing Using Microencapsulated Pigments in Biodegradable Thickeners
Micro-encapsulated pigments were formulated into biodegradable printing pastes and their properties were analyzed. The pigment was used as the core material and polylactic-based biodegradable thickener was used as the wall-former. Cotton/polyester blend fabric was printed with micro-encapsulated pigment using screen-printing technique without dispersing agents, penetrating agents, leveling agents or other auxiliaries. Micro-encapsulated pigment has been characterized in terms of average particle size and size distribution, morphological structure and elemental composition using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). The variations in viscosity and paste stability were observed upon storing over 7 days at ambient temperature. For permanence, the micro-encapsulation process afforded better colorfastness properties against light, washing, rubbing, and perspiration
The Electrodeposition rhenium-tellurium alloys from chlorides asides electrolytes.
There has been investigated the joint electrodeposition of rhenium with tellur from chlorides electrolyte, by measuring the cycling volt-ampere curves there has been determined the field of potentials, at the presence of which the joint electrodeposition of rhenium with sulphur takes place. It has been shown, that the joint deposition of rhenium with tellur goes with a certain depolarization, besides, the depolarization is caused by the energy emanating along formation of ReTe2 compounds. There was studied the influence of current density, temperature and acidity on the composition and quality of cathode sediments. It was established, that with the rise of current density and the temperature of electrolyte the concentration of rhenium in the alloy increases

Let N be a near-ring and is a mapping on N . In this paper we introduce the notion of right ()-3-derivation in near-ring N. Also, we investigate the commutativity of addition of prime near-rings satisfying certain identities involving right ()-3-derivation
Markov Stochastic Processes in Biology and Mathematics -- the Same, and yet Different
Virtually every biological model utilising a random number generator is a Markov stochastic process. Numerical simulations of such processes are performed using stochastic or intensity matrices or kernels. Biologists, however, define stochastic processes in a slightly different way to how mathematicians typically do. A discrete-time discrete-value stochastic process may be defined by a function p : X0 × X → {f : Υ → [0, 1]}, where X is a set of states, X0 is a bounded subset of X, Υ is a subset of integers (here associated with discrete time), where the function p satisfies 0 < p(x, y)(t) < 1 and EY p(x, y)(t) = 1. This definition generalizes a stochastic matrix. Although X0 is bounded, X may include every possible state and is often infinite. By interrupting the process whenever the state transitions into the X −X0 set, Markov stochastic processes defined this way may have non-quadratic stochastic matrices. Similar principle applies to intensity matrices, stochastic and intensity kernels resulting from considering many biological models as Markov stochastic processes. Class of such processes has important properties when considered from a point of view of theoretical mathematics. In particular, every process from this class may be simulated (hence they all exist in a physical sense) and has a well-defined probabilistic space associated with it
